TriStar Motorsports is in Indianapolis, IN this week leading up to the Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 26th. This historic 2.5-mile rectangular, oval speedway is home to numerous historic races.

McClure Looking for Improved Results at IMS

Just as Saturday's Lilly Diabetes 250 will mark the third annual Nationwide Series event at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, it also marks Eric McClure's third start at the2.5-mile oval. Since racing at IMS, the Virginia driver has completed 97.5% of the total laps attempted and has an average finish of 27.5. He finished the inaugural event in 2012 in the 24th position, but was plagued with over-heating issues last year that relegated him to a 31st-place finish.
