Johanna Long and the No. 70 Foretravel Motorcoach Chevrolet team roll into Charlotte Motor Speedway for the second time this season for the Dollar General 300. The ML Motorsports team will take chassis No. 61, last run at Chicagoland Speedway where the team finished 26th.

James Buescher and his Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) team will make the short trek over to Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) for their second consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start. Regrouped from last week, Buescher looks to continue his success at the 1.5-mile oval. The last time Buescher competed in a NNS car at CMS, he made his way up from a mid-pack starting spot to earn a top-10 finish.

Coming Home...The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will make its second and final trip of the 2013 season to Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) this weekend for the Dollar General 300. Nelson Piquet Jr. will make his second career NNS start at the 1.5-mile oval on Friday night, having previously finished 16th in the first race of the 2013 season held at CMS in May.

Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial prepare for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. With 13 Nationwide Series starts at the track, Sadler has one pole award, four top-five and five top-10 finishes. He also has NASCAR Sprint Cup Series experience at Charlotte with 25 starts, one pole award, one top-five and three top-10 finishes, as well as 196 laps led. He made one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start in 2010, where he started fourth, finished fifth and led 31 laps.

Richard Childress Racing has hired veteran Nick Harrison to crew chief the team's No. 33 Chevrolet entry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Travis Pastrana visits Charlotte Motor Speedway for the third time in his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) career. In 2011 he finished 24th and earlier this season he finished 33rd.

RAB Racing and the No. 99 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Toyota Camry driven by Sunoco Rookie of the Year candidate Alex Bowman were confident of a good finish coming in to Kansas Speedway. Alex Bowman has two wins in just two starts at Kansas Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series, and RAB Racing utilized chassis No. 42 which has numerous top 10 finishes and captured the pole award at Texas Motor Speedway in April.

TriStar Motorsports driver Mike Bliss made his 10th NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Kansas Speedway on Saturday afternoon. Starting from the 21st position Bliss had a car that was near flawless to the conditions of the 1.5-mile tri-oval. Crew Chief Paul Clapprood and the No. 19 crew made minimal adjustments throughout the 200 lap event.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) Kansas Lottery 300 was a caution filled 200 lap race that ended with Matt Kenseth in victory lane.
