After a two week pause, the NASCAR Nationwide Series returns to action at Texas Motor Speedway this Saturday. It will be the sixth mile-and-a-half track on the schedule since August. In the previous five mile-and-a-half starts, Annett has earned two top-10 finishes and four top-15 finishes.

David Starr to race in NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Texas Motor Speedway

Houston native David Starr is set to race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race on Saturday, November 2 at Texas Motor Speedway. Starr, who has 38 starts across NASCAR's top three national touring series at the 1.5-mile track, now resides in Fort Worth, Texas and identifies Texas Motor Speedway as his "home track." With funding from several Texas-based partners, Starr will compete in the No. 55 Chasco Constructors / Striping Technology L.P. Chevrolet Camaro for Viva Motorsports with Frank Cicci.

Trevor Bayne – Texas Advance

This weekend Trevor Bayne and the No.6 Ford EcoBoost team return to Texas Motor Speedway for the second time in the Nationwide Series this season.

Travis Pastrana – Texas Advance

Travis Pastrana will make his second start at Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) this weekend. Earlier this season, Pastrana qualified 21st at the 1.5-mile track and worked his way into the top-15 before the team was forced to visit the garage for gear repairs, finishing 33rd.

RCR Event Preview – Texas Motor Speedway

In 74 starts at Texas Motor Speedway dating back to 1997, RCR has recorded one win (Jeff Burton, April 2007), eight top-five and 28 top-10 finishes with drivers Burton, Clint Bowyer, Dale Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Green and Paul Menard. Prior to TMS's inaugural season in 1997, Richard Childress, a former driver in NASCAR's top division, earned a pair of top-10 finishes at the now defunct Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas.

Sadler has 11 Nationwide Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, notching two pole awards, three top-five and five top-10 finishes. He also has experience at Texas in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with 18 starts, one win (2004), one pole award, one top-five and three top-10 finishes. Sadler made one appearance in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2010 where he started second and finished fifth.
