Nationwide Series driver Mike Wallace will carry a very important message on his JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet in Saturday’s Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Veteran driver Kevin Lepage will make his 2013 debut in the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet in Saturday’s Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 Nationwide Series race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Marcos Ambrose will make his 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series debut this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course while he completes "double duty" with partners STANLEY and DEWALT. Ambrose will compete in Saturday's Nationwide Children's Hospital 200 and then return to the Michigan International Speedway to compete in Sunday's Pure Michigan 400. Ambrose will practice at Mid-Ohio on Thursday before going back to Michigan to practice and qualify for the Cup race on Friday. He will then practice Saturday morning and fly back to Ohio for the start of the race.

Alex Bowman will pilot RAB Racing Chassis No. 55 in Saturday's Nationwide Children's Hospital 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. This chassis last saw action at Watkins Glen International last weekend, where Bowman drove this Camry to a 13th-place finish.

On a rainy and humid Friday afternoon at Watkins Glen, I made my way from the Media Center and into the Nationwide garage to meet with NASCAR veteran Eric McClure. I've heard many positive stories about Eric and I wasn't quite sure what to expect but he quickly gave credence to what I had heard. He greeted me at the No. 14 hauler with big smile, offered me something to eat and invited me to come sit down.

This weekend, the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) travels to Mid-Ohio for the first time. This is the third and final road course race of the season for the NNS.

Once again proving NASCAR is one of the fan-friendliest sports in America, NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Travis Pastrana, Elliott Sadler and Trevor Bayne, along with 2014 NASCAR Hall of Fame Inductee, Jack Ingram, will sign autographs for fans attending the Virginia529 College Savings 250 race at Richmond International Raceway on Friday, September 6. Additional drivers are expected to be added to the lineup.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Travis Pastrana battled back from damage sustained during an on track incident to earn his seventh top-15 finish of the season Saturday in the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International, crossing the finish line in 15th.

Wallace was collected in a wicked first-lap crash Saturday in the Zippo 200 at The Glen, and the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet was so badly damaged that he could not continue in the race. He finished 40th and was the only driver to park because of involvement in a race accident.
