Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren announced Kansas Speedway’s 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule today.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will make his 100th-career Nationwide start this weekend at Kentucky Speedway in the Kentucky 300. “Time flies when you are having fun,” said Stenhouse. “My career started out a tad shaky but I have to thank Jack Roush for sticking behind me and never giving up on me. The accomplishments that our No. 6 team has made the past two seasons are incredible and I am happy to be part of this team and organization. As I step up to the Sprint Cup series next year, I will always cherish my Nationwide career.”

TeamSLR and Scott Lagasse Jr. announced today that the team is expanding its current race program to the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and will be joining with Hybridlight and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Hybridlight, the BSA, and TeamSLR have signed a long-term agreement to develop a strategic relationship using motorsports as the platform and will participate in three NNS races during the 2012 season.

Veteran ARCA Racing Series & super late model driver Hal Martin, nicknamed the "Ragin' Cajun" from his Louisiana roots, will pilot a Toyota Camry in the TriStar Motorsports stable for three races during the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series season - Kansas Speedway; Texas Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

This Week's Toyota ... Alex Bowman will pilot RAB Racing with Brack Maggard chassis No. 42 in Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway. This Toyota Camry made its 2012 debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March, where Kenny Wallace started 18th and finished 11th.

Michael Annett on Going to Kentucky: “I’m excited to be going back to Kentucky Speedway for the second time this year. I got my first career top-five finish at Kentucky back in June, so it’s a special place for me. It’s a fast 1.5-mile track and I typically run well there. We’ve been on a pretty good roll here lately with four-consecutive top-10 finishes, and it’s time we step it up a notch and bring home a win. We’ve got a few races left to try and gain some points, and we are really trying to snag that fifth spot. A victory this weekend in our Pilot flying J Ford would go a long way in helping us to achieve that goal.”

Camry driver Kyle Busch claimed a fourth-place result in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Chicagoland Speedway, and his Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) teammate Joey Logano crossed the finish line seventh. 'Chase for the Sprint Cup' contenders Martin Truex Jr. (ninth) and Clint Bowyer (10th) also earned top-10 finishes, while Denny Hamlin posted a 16th-place showing on the 1.5-mile track. In Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race in Chicago, both Busch (second) and pole-winner Logano (10th) claimed top-10 results in the 200th NNS event for the Toyota Camry.

GC Motorsports International announced today that JJ Yeley and the no. 27 NASCAR Nationwide Series team have joined forces with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety for the “Drive Sober. Arrive Alive DE” promotion during the NASCAR Nationwide Series Race on Saturday, September 29th at Dover International Speedway.

DODGE QUOTES: “It is as rough as Atlanta but the difference is that Kentucky has a little more grip whereas Atlanta is a little more worn out. A lot of the things that we do with our cars now are affected by the bumps. You have to find a compromise about what’s going to give you speed for a couple of laps and what’s really going to stay there over the long run. We felt like we were pretty good there at the start of the race in June. As the track cooled off, we kind of lost our handle on the track a little bit.
