Richard Childress is tied for third with Joe Gibbs and Roger Penske for all-time car owner victories at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with four wins - Robby Gordon (2001), Kevin Harvick (2006) and Clint Bowyer (2007 and 2010). In 84 starts at the 1.058-mile oval, Childress also boasts two pole awards, 14 top-five and 32 top-10 finishes with nine different drivers including Dale Earnhardt, Mike Skinner, Harvick, Gordon, Jeff Green, Steve Park, Dave Blaney, Bowyer and Jeff Burton.

Following his second top-15 run in the past 3 races, the morale in the MacDonald Motorsports shop is at an all-time high. Halfway through the season and on race five of a 16 race non-stop swing, Jason Bowles and his American Majority No. 81 Toyota team are very pleased with the way things have been going.

Eric McClure and the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Racing™ team were on track to earning a career-best finish at Daytona Int’l Speedway, until a green-white-checkered finish trapped the Virginia driver in the bottom lane, forcing him to settle for an 18th-place finish.

This weekend we headed back to Florida for the second race that is held at Daytona International Speedway. The July race is known for hot temperatures, patriotism, celebrating our freedom and fireworks.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished fourth (Austin Dillon), sixth (Elliott Sadler) and 28th (Kevin Harvick). Sadler leads the NASCAR Nationwide Series driver championship point standings over Dillon by four points.

Austin Dillon’s weekend at the Daytona International Speedway started with him defending his Kentucky win after his car failed post race inspection. It ended with him again having to defend his team after another failed inspection.
