Michael Annett started the 250-lap NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Richmond International Raceway from the 19th position. Annett finished the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 as follows:

"Yeah, it was alright. We weren’t the best we have been here but we weren’t terrible. There were times in the race I felt we had the best car in parts of the run but couldn’t put the whole run together. Not a bad night."
