Jeffrey Earnhardt, fourth generation NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series driver, sets forth a partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing and Xtreme Concepts Inc. for nine races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2019.

On Friday at ISM Raceway, it was announced that Ross Chastain would be the next full-time driver for the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet with Chip Ganassi Racing for 2019.

To have – and I think even at media day whenever we started the Playoffs – one of the questions they asked was if you would rather have a five-race win year or win the championship and I’ve always said that I would rather win five races than win the championship.

DC Solar and Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announce today that the clean energy company will continue their partnership with CGR to include sponsorship of the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro SS in the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). Recent series winner, Ross Chastain will compete full-time in the No. 42 DC Solar Chevy during the 2019 NXS campaign.

Team Penske has announced that 20-year-old Austin Cindric will compete full time in the 2019 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS), driving the No. 22 Ford Mustang. In the midst of completing his NXS rookie season in 2018, Cindric will get the opportunity to build on that success as he works to bring another driver’s championship to the No. 22 Ford team next season.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series will be in action at ISM Raceway in Phoenix. All three series enter their final elimination races that will set up the Championship 4.

“I’ve never been to Phoenix before, but I’m excited it’s a short track.  I got to make some laps at Phoenix in the simulator last week and I felt like we had a good session and made quite a few gains in the car.  With the new configuration it will be a little bit different for everybody, but overall excited to get over there and see what we’ve got.”

All year, we’ve had our eyes on Homestead and a strong run at Phoenix is our last step in making that happen. With the end of the 2018 season on the horizon, Roush Fenway Racing heads back out West as both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) converge on the newly-redesigned ISM Raceway. A Roush Fenway Ford has visited victory lane at the 1-mile track on 17 occasions across NASCAR’s three major touring series.

Reed has competed at ISM Raceway 10 times in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Reed’s best finish of sixth came in the fall of 2016.
