Dover International Speedway, which has hosted Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races every year since 1969, has partnered with NASCAR Digital Media to upgrade and redesign DoverSpeedway.com, track officials announced today.

A striking, three-foot-tall trophy made of acrylic and metal and featuring iconic images known to Charlotte residents and racing fans alike will await the winner of the inaugural Sept. 30 Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Speedway officials revealed the Stephen Gould-designed trophy at a press event at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday.

The speed limit is 55 miles per hour on Bruton Smith Boulevard, but Charlotte Motor Speedway has the answer for those who can’t drive 55. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Sammy Hagar and his supergroup, The Circle, will rock the ROVAL™ with a spectacular Saturday-night concert on pit road prior to the Sept. 30 Bank of America ROVAL™ 400. The Grammy Award-winning Hagar will thrill a captivated crowd of race fans the night before the first road course race weekend in the history of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

The eight-driver field is set for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Playoffs, and it features a mix of veterans and young guns, all looking forward to the Talladega 250 on Saturday, Oct. 13, the cutoff race in the Round of 8.

NASCAR icon Dale Earnhardt Jr. will drive the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Pace Car to lead the field to the start of the 25th Running of the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line on Sunday, Sept. 9 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Watkins Glen International has donated $10,000 to help aid The Dale Jr. Foundation and Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Driven to Give Gloves program.

The Consumers Energy 400 featured varying strategies by the teams throughout the race. The crew chiefs used the stage breaks to make pit calls to get their driver out front. In the end, Kevin Harvick and his team made the right call to take home the checkered flag.

The racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series at Michigan International Speedway is known for its exciting action and late race passes for the lead. The Corrigan Oil 200 lived up to expectations as Brett Moffitt used a last-lap pass to earn the victory.

Sauter collected his 11th top-five and 12th top-10 finish of the 2018 season with a second-place finish at Michigan International Speedway.

Friday was a full day of action at Michigan International Speedway as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series were both on the track. Denny Hamlin claimed the pole position for Sunday’s Consumers Energy 400.
