Pocono Raceway announced today, through its relationship with New Era Tickets, the Official Ticket Partner of “The Tricky Triangle,” tickets to the 2013 Pocono 400 (June 9) and Pennsylvania 400 (August 4) races are now available at select Redbox kiosks in the greater-Philadelphia area. The Raceway joins an elite list of national sport venues and events to partner with Redbox TicketsTM, including the Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia), Villanova University Athletics and the Philadelphia Film Festival.

Up and coming country singer-songwriter RaeLynn has just been announced as the National Anthem singer for the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on October 7th. Known for being voted to Team Blake during season 2 of “The Voice”, RaeLynn will be performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” just before the engines roar to life on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway—NASCAR’s Most Competitive Track.

Cruise control is not an approved piece of equipment in NASCAR. (Speedometers aren’t either, for that matter.) But if it were, Joey Logano simply could have set his to “fast” at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, speedometer not necessary.
