Back we go to Pocono, where Martin Truex Jr. won in the spring, where all of the Hendrick drivers shared in winning the previous five. A Busch has won there, twice. His name is Kurt.

The Pocono Mountains 150 at Pocono Raceway will feature the stars of the NASCAR Camping World Series (NCWTS), along with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) drivers Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon, Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski, on Saturday August 1st.

It is a big week for NASCAR. First we had Eldora and over the weekend Indianapolis. I guess I’m pondering the great love affair with a truck race on dirt and the revival of the road race. Once upon a time, the fan base hated road courses and didn’t acknowledge dirt tracks because they were “minor league.”

In one of the most anticipated races of the year, Christopher Bell scored a dramatic win in the third annual 1-800-CAR-CASH Mud Summer Classic on the famed Eldora Speedway dirt. It was the first victory for Bell in just his third career start. Bell’s triumph marked back-to-back victories for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the No. 54 Toyota Tundra at Eldora.

BUSCH BATTLING BACK: Camry driver Kyle Busch recorded his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) victory in the last four races with a win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday. After going a lap down early in the event, Busch battled back and led 96 laps (of 301) to take the checkered flag. With his victory, the Toyota driver now sits just 58 points shy of 30th place in the NSCS point standings, where he must reach to compete for the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship in seven more races. Busch missed the first 11 events of the NSCS season while recovery from injuries sustained in an accident during a NASCAR XFINTY Series (NXS) race in February and returned to competition in May.

Back On Track... The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to the dirt track this weekend in Rossburg, Ohio for the 1-800-CARCASH MUD SUMMER CLASSIC. Travis Kvapil will make his 1st NCWTS start at the famous Eldora Speedway.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Eldora Speedway Wednesday for the 1-800-CAR-CASH Mud Summer Classic; the only dirt race on the NASCAR national series schedule. It has quickly become a fan favorite since its debut in 2013 and this year’s race promises to deliver more of what fans have come to expect at this unique event.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series superstar Brad Keselowski will pilot the No. 29 Ford in Wednesday’s 1-800-CAR-CASH Mud Summer Classic (9 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1) at Eldora Speedway. He is the first NSCS champion to compete in the event.

For the second race in the span of four days, a driver has gotten up into the catchfence at a race track.

In a race that ended five laps short of its scheduled distance, polesitter Matt Crafton was declared the winner of Thursday night’s UNOH 225 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event after Ben Kennedy’s Toyota damaged the catchfence at Kentucky Speedway beyond the track’s capacity to repair it expeditiously.
