Larger than life figures who built NASCAR lap by lap and bolt by bolt from the post-World War II era into the 21st century comprise the 25 nominees for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2014.

Two Camry drivers earned top-five finishes in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Virginia's Martinsville Speedway -- Clint Bowyer (second) and Kyle Busch (fifth). Mark Martin (10th) also earned a top-10 result subbing for injured Denny Hamlin. Camry drivers led 153 laps (of 500) with Matt Kenseth pacing the field for 96 laps, Busch out in front for 56 laps and Travis Kvapil leading one lap.

RETURN TO 'THE ROCK': After a successful inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Rockingham Speedway in 2012, the series returns for the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine for its sophomore race at the 1.017-mile speedway. John Wes Townley will pilot the No. 7 Zaxby's Toyota Tundra for the 200-lap event in what will be his third race at the track.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returns to 'The Rock' for the second time in series history this weekend. Paludo participated in the inaugural race at Rockingham Speedway in 2012, earning a 15th-place finish in the historic event. Turner Scott Motorsports took the checkered flag in last year's race, with Kasey Kahne piloting the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado to victory lane

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTWS) Veteran, Ron Hornaday, Jr. jumps back into the familiar green No. 9 Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff Chevrolet for the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock Presented by Cheerwine. Hornaday will hear a familiar voice on the radio this year, as 2011 crew chief Bruce Cook will call the shots from atop the No. 9 pit box.

Rockingham Speedway is a favorite track of the Burton clan, as father Ward Burton captured his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory in the 1995 AC Delco 400 at the famed North Carolina track. A year ago, Jeb Burton brought home an 11th-place finish in his first and only start at the one-mile oval.

After working their way up from a 20th-place starting position to race much of the Kroger 250 inside the top five, James Buescher and the No. 31 Rheem Chevy slipped back in the pack during a late race green-flag run.

Since Rockingham Speedway reopened in 2008, no one has more wins on the venerable one-mile oval than Clay Rogers. The Troutman, N.C.-native has found his way to victory lane at The Rock four times between 2008 and 2012.
