Sheldon Creed rolls into Texas fresh off his first career Gander Trucks victory last week at Kentucky.

Tanner Gray will be making his first start at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday in the Vankor 350. Although he has never raced at Texas, he has six starts in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series on mile-and-a-half tracks. His best finish came earlier this season at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway when he crossed the finish line eighth. He also finished ninth last weekend in the rain-shortened race at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta.

You know your season is going well when you are disappointed with a 10th-place finish. That was Todd Gilliland's feeling last weekend when rain ended the race at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta after only the second stage. Gilliland was 10th at the time and wanted to keep racing to see how well he could finish in his No. 38 Speedco Ford F-150.

Kentucky is a fun track to race at. It will definitely be a challenge with no track time before the race starts, but I’m excited.”

Natalie Decker on Racing at Kentucky: “It was such a bummer to miss last week at Pocono Raceway,” said Decker. “I’m feeling much better and am ready to get back to the track with our N29 Capital Partners/REMarkable Pillow Chevrolet Silverado and my Niece Motorsports team. I know everyone has been working hard to prepare this truck, and I’m excited to get on track.”

Ty Majeski on Racing at Kentucky: “We had such a strong truck at Pocono,” said Majeski. “So, I’m ready to get on track at Kentucky and go after some redemption. As always, I know Phil and the whole team have been working hard to put together a strong piece for this weekend’s race. We had a great start to the week, winning the Slinger Nationals, so I’m looking forward to keeping that momentum going as we head to Kentucky.”

NASCAR was already set to return to Daytona International Speedway in late August, but now the iconic venue is set to host a double dose of two exciting NASCAR weekends during the month, one with unprecedented twists, literally.
