Although this is his first NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start at Talladega Superspeedway, Sheldon Creed has two ARCA Series starts with a best start of third, a best finish of fourth and 23 laps led.

NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) Rookie of the Year candidate Gus Dean (@gusdean) knows his way to Victory Lane at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and he hopes to guide his Young’s Motorsports team there in Saturday afternoon’s Sugarlands Shine 250.

With one of his best finishes of the 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series season in the books in the most recent race at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway, Codie Rohrbaugh and his CR7 Motorsports head to Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway hoping for a strong superspeedway debut in Saturday afternoon’s Sugarlands Shine 250. 

Anthony Alfredo will return to action in the seat of his No. 15 Toyota Tundra as the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway. Alfredo is excited to have Mavis Discount Tire adorn the sides of his Tundra for the Sugarlands Shine 250.

Colin Garrett on Racing at Las Vegas: “I’m grateful to Al Niece and everyone at Niece Motorsports for this opportunity and am really looking forward to getting on track in the No. 38 Wide Open Entrepreneurs Chevrolet,” said Garrett. “I know we will have a solid truck, so it’s just a matter of learning as much as we can in practice and applying that to qualifying and the race.”

Angela Ruch on Racing at Las Vegas: “I’m so excited to be heading back to Las Vegas where I raced earlier this season,” said Ruch. “We had a top-15 run going before we had radio issues, causing us to have to pit a few times to get it fixed, and ended up 16th. My Niece Motorsports guys are preparing me a fast Chevrolet Silverado and I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel.”

Feeling refreshed following a brief break from NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) competition, rookie Gus Dean (@GusDean) returns to Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway for Friday night’s World of Westgate 200 looking to continue a consistent surge in performance aboard his No. 12 Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports.

Stewart Friesen is currently third in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series playoff rankings, 6 points above the cutoff line.

Sheldon Creed enters Las Vegas with a streak of four consecutive top-10 finishes, three of which are fourth or better.

Ross Chastain on Racing at Las Vegas: “It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve raced these trucks,” said Chastain.  “We had a solid performance in our CarShield Chevrolet in Canada.
