John Hunter Nemechek and GMS Racing will utilize chassis no. 216 this weekend at Iowa Speedway. This chassis has been ran three times this season by Nemechek at ISM Raceway (start: 13th/finish: 9th), Richmond Raceway (start: 11th/finish: 7th) and at Iowa Speedway (start: 6th/finish: 8th).

“We tried some things last week at New Hampshire to get ready for the return to Iowa, and I think we’ll have a sporty TMC Chevrolet this weekend at my home track. It’s always good to be home, and we’ve been pretty good on tracks under a mile this year. Travis (Mack, crew chief) and the No. 1 team have been really good at getting us prepared for these races, and we’re coming in with the idea that we’re going to make some noise this weekend.”– Michael Annett

In his final NASCAR Xfinity Series start for 2019, Paul Menard earned a fifth-place finish in the ROXOR 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Menard collected his second top-five finish in 2019 (he placed fourth earlier at Michigan in June) and claimed his second top-five in eight starts at New Hampshire.

Nemechek is currently scored in the tenth-position in the driver standings and is 1 point behind Justin Haley who is in ninth-place.

Supra driver Christopher Bell captured his second-consecutive win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday afternoon.
