Classic Collision’s No.43 Chevy scheme will make its NASCAR debut when the green flag drops in Atlanta for the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The Atlanta-based auto body repair company first appeared on Ellis’ No.43 Chevy at Talladega Superspeedway last week in a career-best result of 11th. Classic Collision will also be sponsoring Ellis at Texas Motor Speedway later this year in a secondary capacity, and the pair hopes to grow the partnership in 2023 and beyond.

“I’ve been really excited about the potential of this program since the day I started speaking with Classic Collision,” said Ryan Ellis, driver of the No.43 Classic Collision Chevy Camaro.

“We’ve got a great family of automobile-focused sponsors like CorvetteParts.net/ Keen Parts, Costa Oil, and a few other really exciting partners
we have yet to announce, and this could not be a better fit to join that family. I plan on getting my personal vehicle fixed up by Classic Collision as soon as possible, and anyone that saw the last Atlanta Xfinity race knows it is hard to imagine a better race for them to sponsor than this. I hope we can avoid the chaos with the Classic Collision No.43 and bring home a great result for them in their first race.”

Classic Collision is one of the largest privately held national providers of auto body repairers originating in Atlanta, Georgia. Now offering more options to you and your families with over 200 state-of-the-art repair facilities across the United States.

“Classic Collision has been a leading collision repair company in Atlanta, Georgia, for nearly 40 years. Partnering with Ryan Ellis and the Alpha Prime Racing team for this particular race in our home market just made sense; it’s a great way to showcase the FUN we have within our
growing organization,” said Charlie Drake, Chief Operating Officer of Classic Collision. “We look forward to seeing the Classic Collision brand highlighted as our teammates cheer on Ryan Ellis’ No.43 here in Atlanta and the other races we support and attend this year.”

DEX Imaging Team Preparing for the Monster Mile

After some positive experiences at Talladega Superspeedway, Harrison Burton and the DEX Imaging team have turned their focus to this weekend’s Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway.

Crew chief Brian Wilson said he was pleased to see his team’s car lead the GEICO 500 at Talladega for 11 laps during a stretch in which Burton and his fellow Ford driver Ryan Blaney waged a 1-2 battle for the lead.

“It was great to see the No. 21 Ford Mustang up front at Talladega and leading laps,” Wilson said. “Everyone including our pit crew, Ford Performance, Roush Yates Engines and Harrison all did a great job to place our car at the front of the field.

“Also, it was great to be a part of surprising Jeff Burton with the announcement of being included in the top 75 drivers in NASCAR’s history. Personally, I’m curious to see how many of the final 75 have driven a car for the Wood Brothers team.”

With Talladega in the rear-view mirror, Wilson, Burton and the DEX Imaging team now are busy preparing for the high-banked one-mile concrete track known as the Monster Mile.

“As we head to Dover we’re studying all that has changed since the early May race last year,” Wilson said. “Several rule changes, a new Mustang body and the quick learning curve of the Cup series are all included.”

Wilson also noted that the track is one of his favorites.

“Dover is one of the most dramatic tracks that you can watch a car turn a lap on,” he said. “The high speeds, hard loading and moving racing lines make it one of my favorite tracks to visit.

“I’m excited for the weekend and the chance to keep improving with the No. 21 team.”

Practice for the Wurth 400 is set for Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time, with qualifying following at 11:20. FOX Sports 2 will carry the broadcast.

Sunday’s 400-mile race is scheduled to get the green flag just after 2 p.m. with TV coverage on FOX Sports 1.

Stage breaks are planned for Laps 120 and 250.

Hometown: Elk Grove, California

Resides: Mooresville, North Carolina

Crew Chief: Cliff Daniels

Standings: 4th

No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

EVERY OTHER IN APRIL: Kyle Larson has won every other NASCAR Cup Series race over the last four races this season. He won at Richmond Raceway on April 2, and then again on April 16 at Martinsville Speedway. The driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevy has had an every other race run like this before when he was victorious at Kansas Speedway in the Round of 8 of the 2021 playoffs and then two weeks later won the championship race at Phoenix Raceway. Two races later, (in the 2022 season) he went to victory lane at Auto Club Speedway.

FRONT OF THE FIELD: Larson has led the most laps (468) in the 2023 season after 10 races. He also ranks first for the most laps run in the top five in 2023 (1,207), sits second for most laps run in the top 10 (1,796), is tied for second in top-five finishes (four) and holds the third-best average running position (10.41). The 30-year-old driver is one of three competitors, including Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron, with two wins in the season.

MONSTER MILE MATH: The 2021 Cup Series champion will make his 15th start at Dover Motor Speedway this weekend. Through his previous 14 starts, Larson has one win (October 2019), seven top-five finishes, 11 top-10s, 899 laps led and he has completed 99.9% of his laps at the Delaware track. His top-five finishes and top-10s are tied for his most at any one track (with Phoenix) and his laps led are the most at any track he has competed at on the circuit. On four occasions, he has led at least 130 laps at Dover.

DOVER DOWNLOW: The Elk Grove, California, native holds the best average finish (6.93) among drivers with more than two starts at the 1-mile track. That mark is also his best at any track that Cup Series visits. Over the last two races at Dover, he has led the most laps (282). In that same span of time, Larson has run the second-most laps in the top five (505 of 800 laps) and the top 10 (694 of 800 laps) to teammate Chase Elliott.

SETTING THE STAGE: With 44 stage wins in his career, Larson has the third-highest total in the stage racing era (since 2017). With two stage wins so far in 2023, he is tied for third in that category. Larson is tied with three other drivers for the second-most stage top 10s this season (12) and he is second to Byron (92) with 85 stage points.

X2 CHAMPION IN THE MAKING: Larson’s stats thus far in the 2023 season are comparable to those of his championship winning year in 2021. In this year’s first 10 races, he has two wins, two poles, four top-five finishes, four top-10s and 12 playoff points while leading 468 laps across six races. At this point in the 2021 season, Larson had one win, four top-five finishes, six top-10s, eight playoff points and 379 laps led in five different races.

PIT CREW POWER: The No. 5 HendrickCars.com pit crew has the third-best average four-tire stop time through 10 races at 11.506 seconds. Barnette (tire carrier), Brandon Harder (fueler), Brandon Johnson (jackman) and Calvin Teague (rear-tire changer).

EXTRACURRICULARS: In accompany to Larson’s full-time Cup Series schedule, he still races late models and sprint cars most weeks. On April 25, he finished third in the High Limit Sprint Car Series race at 34 Raceway in Iowa. The series, which is co-founded by Larson and his brother-in-law Brad Sweet, features an 11-race schedule where many of the nation’s top Sprint Car drivers compete at 11 different racetracks throughout the United States. 9 CHASE ELLIOTT

Age: 27 (Nov. 28, 1995)

Hometown: Dawsonville, Georgia

Resides: Dawsonville, Georgia

Crew Chief: Alan Gustafson

Standings: 31st

No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, will be available to members of the media at the Dover Motor Speedway media center on Saturday, April 29, at 9:30 a.m. ET.

CAPTURING THE STAGE: Last weekend, Chase Elliott earned his first stage win of 2023, capturing stage one at Talladega Superspeedway. He went on to finish the second stage in the runner-up position and took the checkered flag in 12th after a caution came out on the final lap in the second overtime. Elliott led 18 laps and earned the most points (44) in the race. The stage win was his 35th, putting him in seventh on the list of most stage victories all-time in the NASCAR Cup Series.

CONQUERED THE MONSTER: Dover Motor Speedway was the site of Elliott and the No. 9 team’s first of a series-leading five victories in 2022. The 27-year-old driver led three different times for a total of 73 laps – including the final 53 – to nab his second Cup Series win at the 1-mile track and the 14th of his Cup Series career.

CHASE’S PLACE: Elliott is set to make his 13th Dover Cup Series start this weekend. The driver of the No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has two victories on the concrete oval (October 2018 and May 2022) and nine top-five finishes, his most on any Cup track. Dover is one of four tracks at which the Dawsonville, Georgia, native has multiple wins. The Delaware venue is where he has led his fourth-most laps (394) at any one circuit. Across the last two Cup races on the “Monster Mile,” he has spent the most time of any driver inside the top five (586 of 800 laps) and top 10 (750 of 800 laps). On the all-time list of best average finishes at the track for drivers with more than two starts, Elliott is ranked fifth (9.75).

MAKING HISTORY: Elliott’s name is tied to two different historical moments at Dover. Not only is he the youngest Cup Series winner at the track – visiting victory lane in 2018 at the age of 22 years, 10 months and 9 days – he was also part of a memorable finish in 2021 that saw Hendrick Motorsports sweep the first four positions, with the No. 9 team finishing third.

WAIT, THERE’S MORE: Elliott is currently riding an active streak of two consecutive top-five finishes at the Delaware track, second to only teammate Alex Bowman. In fact, he trails only Bowman on the list for the most top-five finishes at Dover since the start of 2019 with four. Since his first Cup race at the track in 2016, Elliott’s nine top-five finishes lead the series.

HEATING UP: While Elliott has made only four starts this season (due to being out for six races while recovering from a leg injury), he’s made the most of them, averaging 30.00 points per race. Sitting 31st in the standings, he has some work to do to make it into the playoffs this season, but if history is any indication, he can get it done. Elliott has averaged 32.60 points per race in the stage era, which wouldn’t make it impossible for him to reach the postseason on points. If it comes down to a win, he’s had a lot of success on the 16 tracks coming up on the schedule before the playoffs kick off at Darlington Raceway in September. Half of his 18 career Cup Series wins have come at tracks left in the regular season.

AG IN DE: No. 9 team crew chief Alan Gustafson will call his 35th Dover Cup Series race from atop the pit box on Sunday afternoon. He’s collected three wins with two different drivers on the 1-mile track, the first with NASCAR Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon in September 2014 and the remainder with Elliott in 2018 and 2022. Along with Gustafson’s three wins, he’s collected 18 top-five finishes, 20 top-10s and led 665 laps.

GET UP AND GO: NAPA Auto Parts is back on board the No. 9 Chevrolet this weekend at Dover. This will mark the 10th time that the Atlanta-based company has been the primary partner of Elliott at the Monster Mile in the Cup Series. NAPA’s colors were on the No. 9 for both of Elliott’s victories at the track. Check out the paint scheme that will be on track here.

24 WILLIAM BYRON

Age: 25 (Nov. 29, 1997)

Hometown: Charlotte, North Carolina

Resides: Charlotte, North Carolina

Crew Chief: Rudy Fugle

Standings: 14th

No. 24 RaptorTough.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

24 POWER: William Byron and the No. 24 team continue to be one of the front runners during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season. Byron is tied with two other drivers, including Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson, for the most wins in the series with two. He ranks second to Larson in laps led (386) and laps run in the top five (1,149). In addition, the 25-year-old driver is third in laps run in the top 10 (1,484). The Charlotte, North Carolina, native holds the second-best average running position this season (9.79).

STAGE WINNER: This season, Byron has five stage wins – the most of any driver. In fact, his five stage wins are tied for the most stage wins all-time in the first 10 races of a season with four other drivers, including Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott (who accomplished this in 2020). This also marks the most stage wins for Byron in a season – surpassing his four stage wins in 2021 and 2022. Byron also has 13 top-10 finishes in stages this year and collected 92 stage points – both are the most of any driver.

DOVER DIGEST: With eight Cup Series starts under his belt at Dover Motor Speedway, Byron has a track-best starting position of second that came in May 2019 when Elliott edged him out for the pole. Byron has two top-five finishes in the last three races at Dover – tied for the second-most with Elliott in the same span. In his last two Cup Series starts at the “Monster Mile,” the driver of the No. 24 RaptorTough.com Chevy has run the fourth-most laps in the top five (349 of 800 laps) and in the top 10 (561 of 800 laps).

MONSTER MILE MINUTES: This Sunday’s race will be crew chief Rudy Fugle’s third at the Cup Series level at Dover. His best showing came with the No. 24 team in 2021 with a third-place qualifying effort and a fourth-place finish. However, the Livonia, New York, native has 11 other national series starts at the Delaware track already under his belt. In eight NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races, Fugle has accumulated one win, two top-five finishes and two top-10s. One of those previous starts was with Byron, in 2016, where the duo started on the pole and raced to an 11th-place result.

TWO-FOUR HISTORY: With Byron’s two wins in 2023, he has extended the legacy of the No. 24 in the Cup Series. Currently, the No. 24 has five wins at Dover – all coming with team vice chairman Jeff Gordon. If Byron visits victory lane on Sunday, it will break a three-way tie and propel the No. 24 to a tie with the No. 9 for the fourth-most wins by a car number at the “Monster Mile.” Another win will also see the historic car number reach 100 Cup Series wins overall.

PIT ROAD PROWESS: The No. 24 pit crew has been one of the best on pit road this year with an average four-tire pit stop time of 11.473 seconds – the second-fastest average in the field. The No. 24 pit crew consists of Spencer Bishop (jackman), Jeff Cordero (front-tire changer), Orane Ossowski (rear-tire changer), Ryan Patton (tire carrier) and Landon Walker (fueler). The five-man crew also had the fastest four-tire pit stop in the season-opening DAYTONA 500 at 11.278 seconds.

RAPTOR® TOUGH: For this Sunday’s race at Dover, Byron will climb behind the wheel of the No. 24 RaptorTough.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. RAPTOR® is a durable protective coating that is designed to tolerate the toughest climatic conditions and can be applied to a wide range of items, including truck beds, lawnmowers, outdoor furniture and more. With 16 pre-mixed colors available, it’s easy to personalize anything you want to protect. RAPTOR® is available at local paint distributors, auto parts stores, and online retailers. 48 Josh Berry

Age: 32 (Oct. 22, 1990)

Hometown: Hendersonville, Tennessee

Resides: Mooresville, North Carolina

Crew Chief: Blake Harris

Standings: 10th (owner’s points)

No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

BERRY’S BACK: Josh Berry will drive the No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 this Sunday at Dover Motor Speedway with Alex Bowman sidelined due to a fractured vertebra. Berry has two starts at the “Monster Mile” in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, notching one win (in 2022) and a runner-up finish (in 2021) in those races. His average finish of 1.5 in those two starts is his best at any track in the Xfinity Series. Berry led a combined 103 laps in those appearances and started fourth and sixth, respectively.

BERRY GOOD: Through nine Xfinity Series races this season, Berry has four top-five finishes, seven top-10s, and an average finishing position of 10.7. Since the start of his Xfinity career, the Hendersonville, Tennessee, native has 71 starts, five victories, 21 top-five results, 41 top-10s, and has led 684 laps. The 2022 season marked his first full-time Xfinity season with Hendrick Motorsports affiliate JR Motorsports. He earned three wins and advanced to the Championship 4, ultimately placing fourth in the series standings.

NOT HIS FIRST CALL UP: This is not the first time Berry has filled in with Hendrick Motorsports this season. Earlier in the year, the 32-year-old driver made five starts while Chase Elliott was out due to injury. In those five races, Berry earned a career-best runner-up finish at Richmond Raceway, a top-10 at Phoenix Raceway and notched 10 laps led. He also became the 26th different driver to score a top-five finish with Hendrick Motorsports and the 13th driver to record at least two top-10s through four starts with the team.

48 HAS HISTORY: The No. 48 team has a deep history of success at Dover. Having two drivers behind the wheel for Hendrick Motorsports (Bowman and Jimmie Johnson), the No. 48 entry has a combined 40 starts with a series-best 12 wins, 20 top-five finishes, 29 top-10s, 3,213 laps led and an average finish of 9.33. In fact, the No. 48 has finished inside the top 10 in the last five races at Dover with both drivers. In the last 11 starts, the No. 48 has finished in the top-10 in nine of them, including two wins.

PIT POWER: The No. 48 Ally Racing pit crew holds the tenth-fastest pit stop of the 2023 season. On lap 185 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the five-man crew made a four-tire pit stop of 9.776 seconds, which was the fastest four-tire stop of that race. The over-the-wall crew is made up of rear-tire changer Andrew Bridgeforth (rear-tire changer), Jacob Conley (fueler), Allen Holman (jackman), Scott Riddle (tire carrier) and Donnie Tasser (front-tire changer).

SAVE THEM ALL: Primary partner Ally and Bowman are teaming up this year to bring back the Best Friends Animal Society donation effort. Even though Bowman will be away from the track this weekend, the duo will make charitable contributions to the Faithful Friends Animal Society, which serves the local community in Delaware. Bowman and Ally will donate $4,800 to Best Friends and the Faithful Friends Animal Society. Ally will increase its donation to $10,000 if the No. 48 team wins on Sunday.

DAY ‘N’ NITE: The No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will adorn two versions of its primary scheme during the 2023 Cup Series season. The No. 48 Ally Chevy “day” scheme will host a white base with bright plum, grapefruit, and seafoam stripes down the side. This version of the primary scheme will appear at races that take place during the day. When the lights come on over the racetrack, the black-based No. 48 Ally Chevy “night” scheme will sport a similar design to its daytime counterpart. This weekend, the No. 48 machine will have the white-based “day” scheme. Check out all the angles of the new look here.

CLOSING IN ON 300: Hendrick Motorsports is five points-paying victories away from 300 in the NASCAR Cup Series. Twenty drivers have combined to reach the organization’s current total of 295 wins, which is the most in the sport by any one team. With four wins this season, Hendrick Motorsports has posted its 36th multi-win season in the Cup Series. In each of the last 30 seasons, the organization has won at least two races.

THE FIRST STATE: Dover Motor Speedway is one of three racetracks where Hendrick Motorsports has posted more than 20 points-paying wins. The team’s 22 victories at the Delaware venue is one more than its total at Charlotte Motor Speedway and surpassed only by its 28 at Martinsville Speedway, which represents the all-time record for wins by any team at a track. In total, the team has won 29% (22 of 76) of the Cup Series races at Dover and led 7,353 laps (second only to its total at Martinsville). No other team has posted more than nine wins at the 1-mile venue.

MAGNIFICENT SEVEN: Seven different drivers have contributed to Hendrick Motorsports’ Dover win total: Jimmie Johnson (11 victories), Jeff Gordon (five), Chase Elliott (two), Alex Bowman, Geoff Bodine, Ken Schrader and Ricky Rudd.

GOING STREAKING: The 14-time Cup Series championship-winning organization has two win streaks of at least three races at the concrete track in Dover, Delaware. There was a four-race win streak from September 2013 to May 2015 and a three-race run from September 1995 to September 1996. Entering Sunday’s race, the squad has won the last two races at the facility.

SPRING SUMMARY: In the 2022 spring race at the “Monster Mile,” Elliott was victorious as he led the final 53 laps en route to the win. Bowman earned a fifth-place finish, while Kyle Larson came home sixth to give the organization half of the cars in the top six.

MONSTER MOMENT: Dover is home to Hendrick Motorsports’ only sweep of the top-four finishing positions in a race. In 2021, Bowman, Larson, Elliott and William Byron placed first, second, third and fourth, respectively. It marked only the fourth time in Cup Series history that any team accomplished it. At Titusville-Cocoa Speedway in December 1956, Peter DePaolo Racing’s five-car effort became the first to record a top-four sweep and repeated the achievement in April 1957 at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Forty-eight years later, Roush Fenway Racing did it in 2005 with four of its five entries at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The percentage of laps led (95.5%; 382 of 400 laps led) in this race stands as the second-most for a single event in team history.

WHAT A RUN: Since the May 2010 race at Dover, the Rick Hendrick-owned team has had a driver finish in the top 10 at this track in 23 straight races. Last year’s results put the team at the top of the board on this particular streak.

FOUR-FOR-FOUR IN OT: The 1-mile track has had four races finish in overtime. In each of those, a Hendrick Motorsports driver has emerged victorious, Johnson won in three of those finishes (September 2005, May 2015 and June 2017) and Elliott got the other one (October 2018).

STAGE SAVANTS: In the 2023 season, Hendrick Motorsports’ series-best eight stage wins are two more than the combined total of the teams tied for second in this statistical category. The team’s stage wins have come among three of its drivers. Byron leads all drivers with five, while Larson has two and Elliott recorded his first of the season at Talladega Superspeedway last weekend. In the stage racing era, this is the second-most stage wins for the organization through 10 races.

NEXT GEN NUMBERS: Elliott and Larson are among the three drivers who have the most wins since the launch of the Next Gen car (in 2022) with five victories. Byron is tied for fourth with two drivers at four wins.

QUOTABLE /

Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on his confidence coming to Dover Motor Speedway: “I look forward to racing at Dover (Motor Speedway) this weekend. The past two years there with the No. 5 team we have been fast with two top-10 finishes. I feel like I’ve had a super competitive race car at almost every track this season and expect nothing less at Dover. It would be great to get a win there with Hendrick Motorsports.”

Cliff Daniels, crew chief of the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on preparing for Dover: “Kyle (Larson) has a really good knack for driving at Dover (Motor Speedway). He has a great feel for that place. Really, it’s going to be on us to get him a car that he is comfortable with so he can move around when the track takes rubber and drive the way he wants to drive. Admittedly, we did miss that a little bit last year. We were competitive but not quite as strong as we wanted to be. We do have the data points from last year and we’ve learned a lot of things since that hopefully we can apply and put a good foot forward.”

Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on racing at Dover: “I think just it being concrete, it’s a very, very fine line but has a lot of speed. You might not be going as fast as you do on some other tracks, but it always feels like you’re going pretty fast there. So, that makes it fun from a driver’s standpoint. After a while, you know, you get kind of used to going at a fast pace until you hit something and you’re reminded how fast you’re going. But Dover, that sensation of speed is always very real and that’s exciting for us to do something little different.”

Elliott, on his success at Dover: “It was good to get another win there last year. For whatever reason, that track has suited what I look for in the car. We ran well there on the Xfinity side too. I’m not sure I know exactly what that is, but it has lent itself to some good results over the last six, seven years. Hopefully we can continue that.”

William Byron, driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on the challenges of Dover: “Dover (Motor Speedway) is just a tough place in general. We’ve always had really fast cars there, even with the Next Gen cars, but this track has a bit of a survival technique to it. The track is hard on the car, hard on a driver, and one mistake can result in the end of your day or put you behind by quite a bit. That’s what happened last year unfortunately. We were able to overcome a wreck in practice, but then a caution during green-flag pit stops late in the race put us in a hole we couldn’t get out of. If we show up with the speed we usually have, though, and the speed we have shown this year, we should be in good shape. It will just be about maintaining that track position the whole race.”

Rudy Fugle, crew chief of the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on what makes Dover so difficult: “First, Dover (Motor Speedway) is always tough on equipment. There’s vertical load on the tires, the car, the suspension, etc. As we found out on lap one of practice last year, that vertical load can put you on the shock tops real quick if you don’t have it pinpointed perfect, which can put you in the wall really quick. It’s a treacherous race track when it comes to that. Once you get into the race, the drivers are working really hard. Any time you have that many g-forces on your body, it feels like it’s trying to be thrown outside the car every corner. That takes a toll on the drivers. Lastly, it’s one of the tracks that changes a lot as the race goes on.”

Blake Harris, crew chief of the No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on preparing for Dover with Josh Berry: “Everyone on the No. 48 team is wishing Alex (Bowman) a speedy recovery and we hope to have him back as soon as he is healthy. With Josh (Berry) this weekend, we are fortunate enough to have had him in the No. 9 car recently, so we kind of know what driver comfort items we needed so we were able to get him in here and get him fit. We also got a simulator session in with him so as far as preparation for this weekend goes, I feel like we are in as good of shape as we can be considering the time crunch we are in to get the car to Dover (Motor Speedway). Josh has a 1.5 average finish at Dover in Xfinity and finished second in an ARCA (Menards Series East) car there, so I don’t think we could go to a track that is better suited for a plug-and-play guy. Our approach this weekend is just to take it one step at a time, no mistakes, and get Josh comfortable enough to get the No. 48 in contention.”

DOVER, Del. (April 27, 2023) – Famed director, screenwriter, actor and comedian Kevin Smith will serve as the grand marshal for the Würth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 30, track officials announced today.

Smith has written and directed more than a dozen feature films, including “Clerks,” “Mallrats,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” and “Red State,” mostly set in his home state of New Jersey. “Clerks” won the “Award of the Youth” and the “Mercedes-Benz Award” at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival, the “Filmmakers Trophy” at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards.

His famous recurring character, Silent Bob, has featured in a number of his projects, along with the character of Jay, portrayed by Jason Mewes.

Next year Smith and Mewes will host Jay & Silent Bob present CRUISE ASKEW sailing Feb. 23-26, from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, aboard the luxurious Norwegian Pearl. The immersive festival at sea will host live podcast recordings, stand-up comedy, exclusive Q&As, an unreleased “Clerks III” script reading, theme nights, live music and more Askewniverse inspired experiences. Cabins available now at www.cruiseaskew.com.

“Back in the 1970s, when it was still called Dover Downs, my Dad drove me, my brother, my sister and my Mom the short ride from Jersey to Delaware to see the Monster Mile,” Smith recalled. “But the day he picked turned out to be a day the track was actually closed, with the only car in sight being my Dad’s old Plymouth!

“So I was thrilled – and I know Dad would’ve been proud – when I got an invite to Dover Motor Speedway almost 45 years later to say the most famous words in motorsports at NASCAR’s Würth 400. And this time, I know for a fact the track’s going to be open!”

Smith is also the co-owner of Smodcastle Cinemas in nearby Atlantic Highlands, N.J. – the local movie theater where he saw all the flicks of his childhood.

The Würth 400 is the Monster Mile’s 105th NASCAR Cup Series race. Dover Motor Speedway is one of only 10 tracks in the country to host 100 or more NASCAR Cup Series events.

Among the FREE fan attractions set for this weekend is Big Bounce America, the world’s largest bounce house experience. Certified by Guinness World Records, Big Bounce America’s bounce house, 12,000-plus square feet of colors, inflatables and adventure is the world’s largest bounce house. NCS AT DOVER MOTOR SPEEDWAY: Team Chevy Advance

TEAM CHEVY ADVANCE
Würth 400
Dover Motor Speedway
Dover, Delaware
April 30, 2023

DEFENDING AT DOVER

Chevrolet will look to extend its recent and historic success at Dover Motor Speedway this weekend with the one-mile concrete oval holding the next stop on the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) circuit. Coming off a weekend sweep at Talladega Superspeedway, the Bowtie brand will make its return to the Delaware venue not only as the series’ most recent winner this season, but also as the defending winner in both series at the track.

TAMING THE MONSTER

At the track nicknamed “The Monster Mile”, Chevrolet holds the all-time win record in two of NASCAR’s top series – collecting wins in 43 of the 104 NASCAR Cup Series races and 33 of the 76 NASCAR Xfinity Series races.

Chase Elliott

No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Camaro ZL1

Dover Motor Speedway – May 2, 2022

Chevrolet has made the trip to victory lane in the NCS’ two most recent appearances at Dover Motor Speedway courtesy of Hendrick Motorsports’ Alex Bowman (May 2021) and Chase Elliott (May 2022). Both of those victories were celebrated by a podium sweep by the Bowtie brand, with Hendrick Motorsports taking it one step further in 2021 by placing all four of its drivers in the top four- a feat that had never been accomplished in the organization’s storied NCS history.

Josh Berry

No. 8 JR Motorsports Camaro SS

Dover Motor Speedway – April 30, 2022

JR Motorsports’ Josh Berry is credited with Chevrolet’s most recent NXS win at the Delaware venue – scoring his first win of the season and a playoff berth in the series’ April 2022 event. Mimicking the success of its affiliate team Hendrick Motorsports, the JRM drivers took four of the top-five positions in the event with Berry leading Justin Allgaier (second), Noah Gragson (fourth) and Sam Mayer (fifth). Another accomplishment of note for the manufacturer came in the timespan of June 1993 to June 2001 with Chevrolet collecting wins in 16 of series’ 17 NXS races at the track.

JOHNSON RULES AT DOVER

No other driver has found success at Dover Motor Speedway like career Chevrolet driver Jimmie Johnson. The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion recorded a series-best 11 wins at “The Monster Mile” in his 19-year illustrious career. Johnson’s first two wins at the Delaware oval came in his rookie campaign – sweeping both NCS races in 2002. His most recent came in June 2017, ultimately marking his final win before retiring from full-time NCS competition in 2020.

BUSCH ADDS TO SEASON’S REPEAT WINNERS LIST

In a race that saw a record 56 lead changes among 21 different drivers and a double attempt at an overtime finish, it was Kyle Busch and the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Camaro ZL1 team that took home the checkered flag at Talladega Superspeedway last weekend. The victory – Chevrolet’s seventh in 10 NASCAR Cup Series races – marked Busch’s second triumph since starting his tenure at Richard Childress Racing. The 37-year-old Nevada native also became the third repeat winner of the season in NASCAR’s premier series. Chevrolet continues to be the only manufacturer to have a repeat winner in the series thus far with Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron and Kyle Larson joining Busch on that elite list.

DOUBLE-DIGIT UPDATE

Chevrolet has been on the fast-track to success this season with Kyle Busch’s Talladega triumph marking the manufacturer’s seventh win in 10 NASCAR Cup Series races this season. As the series’ season hits double-digits, a look at the Bowtie brand’s season highlights:

Chevrolet’s series-leading seven NCS wins this season have been recorded by drivers from three different Chevrolet teams: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (JTG Daugherty Racing), Kyle Busch (Richard Childress Racing), William Byron and Kyle Larson (Hendrick Motorsports). Stenhouse Jr.’s Daytona 500 victory marked Chevrolet’s first of four-straight victories to open the season – marking the first time since 2001 that a manufacturer has swept the first four races in a single season in NASCAR’s premier series.

In the six NCS, NXS and NCTS tripleheader race weekends this season, Chevrolet has recorded a weekend sweep on two occasions.

Busch led Chevrolet to four top-10 finishes at Talladega – recorded by four drivers from four different Chevrolet teams. This marks the third time this season that four different Chevrolet teams have been represented in the top-10 of a single event, also occurring at Daytona International Speedway and Circuit of The Americas.

Chevrolet drivers have swept the podium in three NCS races this season, taking it one step further at Auto Club Speedway with a one-two-three-four finish.

Chevrolet – the defending NCS Manufacturer’s Champion – has maintained the lead of the series’ manufacturer points standings throughout the season’s first 10 races. Four different Chevrolet teams have contributed to the manufacturer points standings thus far including: Hendrick Motorsports, Richard Childress Racing, JTG Daugherty Racing and Spire Motorsports.

KAULIG RACING’S ALL-STAR NXS CAR SHINES IN 2023

At the beginning of the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, Kaulig Racing transitioned its No. 10 Camaro SS team to an “All-Star” car with a variety of drivers from the Bowtie brigade sharing the driving duties. The roster for the team’s third entry has featured Kaulig Racing’s NASCAR Cup Series regulars Justin Haley and AJ Allmendinger, Richard Childress Racing teammates Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch, and series’ newcoming Derek Kraus.

The team’s elite driver lineup has powered the No. 10 Camaro SS to a top-10 finish in the first eight NXS races of the season, including a win by Allmendinger at Circuit of The Americas in March – his first time returning to the series since moving to full-time NCS competition. Kraus has been tapped as the team’s driver for the series’ past three races with Richmond Raceway marking his first career start in the series. The 21-year-old Wisconsin native drove the No. 10 Camaro SS to a 10th-place finish in his series’ debut, with the young driver following up the impressive run with an eighth-place finish at Martinsville Speedway one week later.

BURTON ADDS WIN, PLAYOFF BERTH

Jeb Burton became the third different Chevrolet driver to claim a win and a playoff berth in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season after driving his No. 27 Camaro SS through a double overtime finish to take the checkered flag at Talladega Superspeedway. The victory marked Burton’s second career victory in the series and the first for Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport since the organization began competing in the series in 2021.

Burton delivered Chevrolet it’s series-leading sixth victory in nine NXS races this season. The Bowtie brand has held the top position in the series’ manufacturer points standings all season long, with the manufacturer now sitting at a 33-point lead over its competitors. Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Hill drove his No. 21 Camaro SS to a pole win and top-10 finishes in both stages at Talladega. Despite getting collected in a late-race accident that resulted in an 18th-place finish, Hill was able to reclaim the lead in the NXS driver points standings.

QUOTABLE QUOTES:
ROSS CHASTAIN, NO. 1 JOCKEY CAMARO ZL1

What is it like racing at Dover, especially with this version of the car?

“It’s awesome to drive off of the cliff in Turn 1 and then down the hill and across the bumps in Turn 3. I love going to Dover and racing anything there. Dover was one of the tracks I was a little worried about with this car last year, but I got there and everyone had their ducks in a row and we weren’t doing anything crazy with tires and wrecking.”

What was your first laps at Dover like since it is such an intense track?

“I remember when I made my first Truck Series start at Dover in 2012. My first lap was a large pucker factor moment. I had to try and breathe through the process. Early on I was not breathing making laps. I’ve learned how to cope with it and how to prepare for it and breathe properly now.”

AUSTIN DILLON, NO. 3 GET BIOETHANOL CAMARO ZL1

What’s the sensation of speed at Dover like?

“Racing at Dover Speedway is like a rollercoaster ride with no tracks. There’s none like it, a lot of pace there, you’re driving down into the corner coming off of a four-story banking to the bottom of the track and you just try to catch your breath and get back on the gas, to drive off the corner and do that for 400 laps. Once you get into the race you get into a rhythm, and you start to feel comfortable. The first couple of laps are always hard on you.”

What is the most challenging part about Dover Motor Speedway?

“It’s a hard concrete track and we have to try and make sure our shock package is good and hopefully, the Get Bioethanol Chevrolet handles well. Maybe the line will move around, but it’s usually right around the bottom. As the rubber lays down it gets harder to do more with the car. Dover is a Monster, but my No. 3 Chevrolet team is up for the challenge.”

KYLE LARSON, NO. 5 HENDRICKCARS.COM CAMARO ZL1

Larson on his confidence coming to Dover Motor Speedway:

“I look forward to racing at Dover (Motor Speedway) this weekend. The past two years there with the No. 5 team we have been fast with two top-10 finishes. I feel like I’ve had a super competitive race car at almost every track this season and expect nothing less at Dover. It would be great to get a win there with Hendrick Motorsports.”

CLIFF DANIELS, CREW CHIEF, NO. 5 HENDRICKCARS.COM CAMARO ZL1

Daniels on preparing for Dover:

“Kyle (Larson) has a really good knack for driving at Dover (Motor Speedway).

KYLE BUSCH, NO. 8 LENOVO CAMARO ZL1

You have had a lot of success at Dover. How does that track fit your driving style so well?

“I’ve always enjoyed Dover. I feel like it’s a big Bristol so I think going there is kind of fun. It’s really a unique track with the elevation change from the straightaways to the corners, the drop down and the jump back out of the hole that you have going from straightaway to corner and back to straightaway. It’s definitely gotten more character over the years being rougher into Turn 3. That’s the tricky part of the track is trying to figure out Turn 3 and how you get through the bumps over there.”

How demanding is qualifying at Dover?

“Qualifying at Dover is sometimes demanding just because the speeds there are so high. You’re in the corner longer than the straightaways so that track is definitely a challenge. A couple of years ago when we went to the higher downforce package it was wide-open qualifying which was crazy. These cars are a little bit different but still super-fast considering the size of the track at Dover. Qualifying is also important because of pit selection. Pit road there is really, really tight and you definitely want to have a good stall, somewhere with an opening, preferably, to get in okay and get out clean.”

Why is the pit road at Dover so challenging?

“The biggest challenge of the pit road at Dover is because it’s so narrow and also the speeds are low there too, so if you have a green flag stop you tend to go a couple laps down so you don’t want to have a green flag stop.”

CHASE ELLIOTT, NO. 9 NAPA AUTO PARTS CAMARO ZL1

Elliott on racing at Dover:

“I think just it being concrete, it’s a very, very fine line but has a lot of speed.

Elliott on his success at Dover:

“It was good to get another win there last year. For whatever reason, that track has suited what I look for in the car. We ran well there on the Xfinity side too. I’m not sure I know exactly what that is, but it has lent itself to some good results over the last six, seven years. Hopefully we can continue that.”

AJ ALLMENDINGER, NO. 16 NUTRIEN AG SOLUTIONS CAMARO ZL1

“Last year, I felt like we had a really good car in Dover. It’s a place that I really enjoy driving at and I’ve always had fun there. Hopefully we can get some momentum and erase what has happened the last few weeks and start over. We’re definitely making gains on the race cars so I think this can be a really good race track for us. Looking to put together a solid weekend and start building from there.”

WILLIAM BYRON, NO. 24 RAPTORTOUGH.COM CAMARO ZL1

Byron on the challenges of Dover:

“Dover (Motor Speedway) is just a tough place in general. RUDY FUGLE, CREW CHIEF, NO. 24 RAPTORTOUGH.COM CAMARO ZL1

Fugle on what makes Dover so difficult:

“First, Dover (Motor Speedway) is always tough on equipment. There’s vertical load on the tires, the car, the suspension, etc. As we found out on lap one of practice last year, that vertical load can put you on the shock tops real quick if you don’t have it pinpointed perfect, which can put you in the wall really quick. Any time you have that many g-forces on your body, it feels like it’s trying to be thrown outside the car every corner. That takes a toll on the drivers. Lastly, it’s one of the tracks that changes a lot as the race goes on.”

JUSTIN HALEY, NO. 31 LEAFFILTER GUTTER PROTECTION CAMARO ZL1

“We had a great run at Dover last season and led a lot of laps. We almost got ourselves a top 10 there as well. It’s a track I really enjoy racing at, so it will be a unique birthday weekend for me. Hopefully Kaulig Racing will be just as fast there as we were last year.”

NOAH GRAGSON, NO. 42 SUNSEEKER RESORTS CAMARO ZL1

“We have had some good runs at Dover in the Xfinity Series and we can lean on Erik (Jones) and Dave (Elenz) for their experience at Dover last season in this NextGen car. I was really proud of the No. 42 team’s performance at Talladega, unfortunately we weren’t able to close it out. We have a lot of points to make up, so we need to build on the momentum we had last week.”

ERIK JONES, NO. 43 ALLEGIANT CAMARO ZL1

“Dover is a cool place; I like going there. It’s been a fun track, and it’s fast. I think for qualifying Dover is one of the higher intensity tracks of the season, because of the speed you have to carry there. It is definitely a cool track, and I am looking forward to competing in the Allegiant Chevy this weekend. With the next Gen cars, I think Dover is one of the places where it performs very similarly. We still moved around a lot and ran some similar lanes if you run the bottom, so it was more similar in my opinion and probably more similar than most guys thought. I don’t expect to see anything out of the ordinary, and I am hoping to build off our success in Talladega.”

BLAKE HARRIS, CREW CHIEF, NO. 48 ALLY CAMARO ZL1

Harris on preparing for Dover with Josh Berry:

“Everyone on the No.

DANIEL SUAREZ, NO. 99 FREEWAY INSURANCE CAMARO ZL1

Why do you like Dover?

“Actually, Dover is one of my favorite tracks that we go to. It’s so much fun and the feeling you get inside the car is pretty incredible. It’s also been one of my best tracks, statistically. My expectations are really high for this weekend because I have run so well in the past there.”

Is there momentum after Talladega?

“Yes, we had a very fast car. We have had fast cars in most of the races this year. Our program is getting better and better. Our pit stops have been fantastic lately as well. We still have a lot of learning to do and things we can improve, but I think we will start getting the type of finishes we expect and deserve here soon.”

10 Tips to Sell Your Old Exotic Car

Do you proudly own an exotic car that has been parked in your garage for too long? It could be time to think about selling it and purchasing something else. Perhaps you can sell a rare car that has appreciated over time—for example, who would have thought an initial flop like the Lexus LFA would be appreciated the way it has today, reaching nearly a million dollars? Or perhaps a European exotic like the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Well, you don’t just have to get a good deal on some extremely rare supercars; you can also get rid of a GT car like the BMW M8—a twin-turbo V8 monster.

With the right steps, you can procure a reasonable price and find a buyer who can care for your vehicle like you did. According to Statista, the luxury auto industry is supposed to grow by 2.63% in 2023 and 2027. So, there are buyers out there, and if you know how to sell your vehicle properly, you can get a good deal.

So, here are some tips for selling your old exotic car.

  1. Consider Cash Buyers

A cash buyer intends to pay in whole for the vehicle upfront using cash or a check.

Convenience is one of the main advantages of selling to a cash buyer. Of course, the buyer will need to have all the money to pay your price, which can simplify finishing the deal. This option is great if you need to sell your vehicle quickly or want a large sum of money.

Investigating and recognizing a reliable purchaser is vital if you’re considering offering your exotic vehicle to a cash buyer. You can also sell your exotic through a platform like Driverra.com, where you can sell your exotic to a cash buyer.

For example, if you need to sell a BMW M8, you can consider this platform that buys cars on cash and specializes in purchasing exotic vehicles, including BMWs. It can make you an instant online offer for your vehicle. They also offer the same efficient service when you sell your Porsche. They have a simple procedure that requires filling out a concise online form, and they will give you a reasonable and competitive offer for your BMW M8.

  1.  Determine the Market Value

Consider comparing your vehicle’s prices in your city or country for sale. Cleaner, lower-mileage models typically have better value than high-mileage ones. To obtain a precise assessment, you can also speak with industry professionals or use online tools for valuation. A low price may result in lost revenues; however, setting an excessively high asking price will discourage potential buyers. Therefore, finding a balance and establishing a fair price based on your car’s market value is essential.

  1. Get Your Car Inspected

Potential buyers will likely want to inspect the car themselves, and any issues found during their inspection could lead to a lower offer or deter them from purchasing altogether. Inspecting your car beforehand can proactively address any issues and give buyers peace of mind that they’re purchasing a well-maintained vehicle. In addition, having an inspection report to share with potential buyers can help you negotiate a fair price and provide evidence of your car’s condition.

  1. Clean Your Car

A clean vehicle looks better and inspires trust in the vehicle’s general condition in prospective purchasers. Start by thoroughly washing your car and paying close attention to the wheels and undercarriage. After washing, preserve the paint with a suitable wax or sealer. Ensure to hoover and wipe down all interior surfaces, including the dashboard, seats, and carpets.

  1. Take Great Photos

Pictures should feature your vehicle’s best qualities. Guarantee your vehicle is spotless and well-lit to feature its attributes and shoot photos from several perspectives to highlight its distinctive appearance. Think about utilizing an expert camera or a phone with a decent camera to take sharp and clear pictures. Photo your vehicle’s interior, exterior (including the profile and a three-quarter angle), and engine.

  1. Write a Detailed Description

Include information about the vehicle’s previous owners, mishaps, and service history. Be honest about the vehicle’s state, including any dings, scratches, or other damages. Give details about the motor, gearbox, and mileage. Highlight any upgrades or modifications you’ve made to the vehicle, such as performance improvements, unique paint jobs, or aftermarket equipment—a straight pipe, perhaps.

  1. List Your Car Online

Online markets with a big audience actively looking to buy cars. You may reach prospective buyers worldwide by advertising your automobile on these platforms, which is crucial if you sell a rare or remarkable car. It’s critical to give potential purchasers thorough and accurate information so they can better understand if your vehicle is worth your asking price.

  1. Be Willing to Negotiate

Remember that negotiation is about finding a mutually beneficial solution, so be prepared to give a little to get what you want. It might mean lowering your asking price slightly or being more flexible regarding payment or other terms of the sale. The goal is to sell your old exotic car in a way that works for you and the buyer, so be open, communicative, patient, persistent, and willing to negotiate as needed.

  1. Be Responsive

You can demonstrate that you’re a serious and trustworthy seller by promptly responding to inquiries and being available for test drives. It can build trust with potential buyers and increase the likelihood of a successful sale. So, check your email or phone frequently and respond to inquiries quickly to keep potential buyers engaged and interested in your car.

Conclusion

Selling an old exotic car can be tough because there are only a few buyers out there, but you can find a good deal with the right approach and mindset. You can improve your chances of finding a buyer who will value your car and offer a fair price by following the tips above, such as conducting research, setting a reasonable price, and using a variety of sales channels. Remember to be patient and flexible throughout the process, as finding the right buyer may take time.

Are GPS Trackers for Bikes Worth It?

Photo by Paul Green on Unsplash

For their owners, bicycles are a priceless possession and friend. They are the preferred wheels due to their lightweight and compact design, but for the same reason, they also draw undesirable attention. Bike owners can choose to install additional security measures, such as GPS trackers, in the same way, that they would safeguard their automobiles or larger vehicles.

Chains and locks have protected motorcycles against theft for many years. Bike thieves have emerged as the world moves closer to a technological nirvana. Therefore, bike owners must act quickly and install a cool piece of GPS technology to safeguard their bikes. A forthcoming device called a bicycle tracker enables users to find their bikes by using special software.

GPS bike tracking devices are made to stow away inconspicuously in the nooks and crannies of a bike, transmit their owner real-time position updates and other notifications, and keep them protected from prying eyes.

Since bike thefts are a sad fact of bicycle ownership, a tracker might offer some piece of mind and the ability to locate your bike in the event of an emergency.

Read on to learn more about GPS trackers for bikes and if they are worth it.

What Is a Bike GPS Tracker?

A GPS bike tracker is a simple and small device put on your bike that can help track the bike’s location at any given point in time.  Once installed, you can usually track the device using the smartphone app for the applicable brand. When the bike is left alone, these devices can notify you whether it has moved and where it is.

Even while it is theoretically possible for a bike thief to remove the tracker, they might not even be aware of its presence considering how sleek and small the newest bike trackers can be in their design.

The software that comes with a gadget is frequently tied to a subscription service that you must purchase, but many brands include a free trial period to entice you.

Are GPS Bike Trackers Worth It?

A bike tracker could increase your chances of being reunited with your bike if it is stolen, even though prevention is always preferable to cure. This might make a bike tracker a smart purchase for many riders, especially if you have to leave your bike in a risky area.

The greatest bike locks cannot be replaced by a tracker therefore you must continue to lock your bike securely as this will always be the most effective prevention against theft. Depending on the type, the tracker’s effectiveness will also depend on whether the thief hasn’t discovered it and whether it’s still within range.

As with any new technology, the possibilities for bike trackers are currently very limited, but in the future, there will probably be more carefully thought-out choices.

The largest improvement to make it less evident to thieves can probably be better efforts at hiding the tracker so that it blends with your frame. Manufacturers must strike a delicate balance to create a svelte, covert design that can quickly transmit an accurate signal.

There will probably also be advancements in battery life. Bicycle trackers are just another piece of technology that you need to remember to charge, according to the majority of recent examples.

What Are the Features of GPS Bike Trackers?

The essential components of a good GPS bike tracker include:

  • Easy to install and set up

Bike trackers can be difficult pieces of technology. However, even if they are complicated on the inside, setting them up is normally easy. This implies that both connecting the bike tracker to the smartphone app and mounting the gadget on the bicycle should be simple processes.

  • Affordable

Most bike trackers are reasonably priced. In addition to the price of the equipment, they could also charge a monthly fee. You may use the device worry-free thanks to the affordable monthly fees as the device’s advantages unquestionably exceed its costs.

  • Waterproof and durable

A top-notch bike tracker is waterproof, so you may use it in wet and rainy conditions. The trackers are robust and long-lasting. A decent tracker lasts for more than three to four years, but you must operate it correctly. It is usually preferable to take extra precautions to prevent the device from falling off your bike. The lifespan of the device may be shortened by frequent falls and improper handling.

  • Extended battery life

Everyone wants to avoid frequently having to recharge their bike tracker’s battery. However, some people will value this more than others. It won’t be as big of a concern for those whose bikes are usually outside as for those who keep them inside, close to a power outlet.

  • Quick recharge without any hassle

The battery should be quickly rechargeable and shouldn’t be a hassle to charge in a good bike tracker. This will allow you to recharge your battery without any worries about removing it from the bike unnecessarily.

  • Effective tracking

The primary responsibility of any bike tracker is this. Bike trackers are quite useful for keeping an eye on your bike and finding it if it goes lost since they can precisely pinpoint its new position.

  • Cannot be discovered easily

This is the most important feature. Thieves should have a hard time locating the tracker in case your bike gets stolen. One should be able to hide the tracker inside the frame of the bike, disguise it like a bike light or a bell or make it such that thieves don’t approach it.

  • Should have advanced features

GPS trackers include a ton of modern, sophisticated functions. You may have access to a number of advantages, such as geofencing, theft alarms, etc. if you pick the right provider. You can create arbitrary virtual borders on a map with geofencing. You will be notified right away if someone tries to take your bike past the fence. Theft alerts activate the alarm as soon as they see any unwelcome or suspicious behavior.

Conclusion

Given that your bike is secure while you are not around, don’t you wish to maintain your calm and ease? GPS bike trackers can provide complete protection for your bike and aid in its recovery in the worst-case scenario.

NHRA AT CHARLOTTE: Team Chevy Race Advance

CHEVROLET IN NHRA
2023 CIRCLE K NHRA FOUR-WIDE NATIONALS
zMAX DRAGWAY
CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA
April 28-30, 2023

DETROIT (April 26, 2023) – The fifth round of the 2023 NHRA season takes the Chevrolet Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock teams to zMax Dragway near Charlotte for the second of two four-wide events this year, the Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

John Force, driver of the BlueDEF Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car for John Force Racing, enters as the defender of both the No. 1 qualifier as well as event winner from 2022 where he set both the track record at 3.850-seconds and the track speed record at 335.07 mph. He takes to the track this weekend seeking his 156th career Funny Car Wally.

Joining Force in the Four-Wide Nationals Finals last year, teammate Robert Hight, driver of the Flav-R-Pac Chevrolet Camaro SS, looks to return to the Winner’s Circle after his recent victory this year in Phoenix.

Chasing her 17th Top Fuel victory and 45th No. 1 qualifier, Brittany Force, driver of the Monster Energy/Flav-R-Pac, enters this weekend with seasonal momentum on her side as she continues her drive for her third championship.

Austin Prock, driver of the Montana Brand/Rocky Mountain Twist Chevrolet Top Fuel dragster, seeks to best his runner-up finish in Pomona 1 to capture his first win of the season and the fourth of his career at Charlotte.

Not in competition in 2022, Pro Stock returns to zMax Dragway this year, with KB Titan Racing’s Dallas Glenn entering his hometown race looking to three-peat after his victories at Pomona 1 and Las Vegas 1, the first four-wide event of the year. He currently seeks his seventh NHRA Wally in Pro Stock. A hometown event also for KB Titan Racing, located in nearby Mooresville, North Carolina, Greg Anderson, Camrie Caruso, Kyle Koretsky, Matt Hartford, and Deric Kramer all seek to capture a Pro Stock victory for the team.

Making their return to the dragstrip for the second FlexJet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown event of 2023, and their second event in a four-wide format in series history (the first in 2022 at zMAX Dragway), Chevrolet looks for a repeat win in the class in the COPO Camaro.

The 2023 Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Nationals action from zMax Dragway airs first with Friday qualifying Saturday, April 28, at 7 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 (FS1). Saturday qualifying near Charlotte airs Sunday, April 29 at noon ET on FS1. Sunday’s Finals will also air on FS1, starting at 6 p.m. ET Sunday, April 30. Coverage streaming live throughout the weekend can be found through NHRA.tv, available via AppleTV, Android TV and Roku devices.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

Brittany Force, driver of the Monster Energy/Flav-R-Pac Chevrolet Top Fuel dragster for John Force Racing:

“Heading to Charlotte, North Carolina next on the NHRA circuit. zMAX Dragway is another familiar track for this Flav-R-Pac / Monster Energy team. We’ve won in the past, 2016, and have a runner-up finish in 2021. We also hold both ends of the track record. We come into the event third in points which is a solid position. With all the changes we’ve made we are getting back on track and looking for the first win of the season.”

Austin Prock, driver of the Montana Brand/Rocky Mountain Twist Chevrolet Top Fuel dragster for John Force Racing:

“This Montana Brand / RMT team is ready to get back at in Charlotte. I think what we learned in Vegas will us up nicely in the first qualifying session to make a clean run. Being able to drop the door and make a good hit right off the trailer really sets you up for the weekend and I know we’re capable of that. Hoping for some sunshine and win lights this weekend.”

John Force, driver of the BlueDEF Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car for John Force Racing:

“I love racing in Charlotte, zMAX is the Bellagio of drag strips, what a legacy for Bruton Smith. Danny Hood, Tim Fibrisi and the guys have built a fast hot rod and we’re ready to keep improving after putting together some solid runs in Vegas. We’ve had a lot of success here in the past and I’m excited to compete for another win for Chevy, PEAK, BlueDEF, Cornwell Tools, Frank Tiegs, Auto Club, and everyone who keeps me out here each week doing what I love.”

Robert Hight, driver of the Auto Club/Cornwell Tools Flav-R-Pac Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car for John Force Racing:

“Our Flav-R-Pac team has had a couple of tough races lately. I’m looking forward to going back to zMAX, the Bellagio, for the Four-Wide this week. Charlotte is one of those tracks that we seem to have figured out and do well at. We’ve won here a few times and finished runner-up to John last season. We tested in Vegas last week and Jimmy Prock and the guys are ready to bring home our second Wally of the season.”

Dallas Glenn, driver of the RAD Torque Chevrolet Camaro SS in Pro Stock for KB Titan Racing:

“Our RAD Torque Systems Camaro is coming into this weekend at our home track feeling pretty great after going back-to-back the last two races on the NHRA circuit. My first Wally in Pro Stock was at the Charlotte four-wide two years ago and I’m ready to three-peat this weekend. We’ve got the car and the team behind me; we can do it.”

Sun-seeking victory lane: Gragson has come close to victory lane in Truck and Xfinity at Dover but has yet to have the opportunity to race on the “Monster Mile” in a NASCAR Cup Series car. Gragson has a combined nine starts in other series’ and has led for 98 laps at the 1-mile concrete oval.

Pointers from the bossman: If Gragson needs any advice on how to tame Dover Motor Speedway, he can look to team co-owner Jimmie Johnson. Johnson’s record at Dover is one for the history books. From his very first start in 2002 until he stepped away from full-time competition in 2020, Johnson was the driver to beat at Dover. His 11 victories still stand as the most all-time at the track. Johnson’s first win at Dover came in his just first start in 2002. His 11th win at Dover was in 2017, which marked the seven-time champion’s 83rd Cup Series career win. Along with the record-holding wins, Johnson has 18 top-five and 27 top-10 finishes and has led 3,110 laps – which is the most all-time.

Quoting Noah Gragson: “We have had some good runs at Dover in the Xfinity Series and we can lean on Erik (Jones) and Dave (Elenz) for their experience at Dover last season in this NextGen car. I was really proud of the No. 42 team’s performance at Talladega, unfortunately we weren’t able to close it out. We have a lot of points to make up, so we need to build on the momentum we had last week.”

Best this season in ‘Dega: Erik Jones scored his best finish of the season last weekend in Talladega. Jones started the race from 24th and elbowed his way into the lead during the first stage of the 500-mile race. Jones stayed out of trouble in the No. 43 Chevy and with five laps remaining, a multi-car crash occurred while Jones was in 26th. The crash that collected teammate Noah Gragson moved Jones to 15th. Jones picked the bottom line heading into the second overtime attempt to end the race where he was able to avoid the wrecking front-runners to finish sixth. This was his third consecutive sixth-place finish at Talladega.

The “43” at Dover: Richard Petty also knows how to get around at Dover Motor Speedway. ‘The King’ won at the 1-mile concrete oval seven times, including in three of his first four starts at the track. Petty made 46 starts at Dover throughout his storied career, recording 16-top five and 26 top-10s, leading 2,206 laps en route to his seven victories.

Jones on NASCAR Race Hub: This week STP announced they will be the primary car for Jones and the No. 43 at North Wilkesboro Speedway for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Fans can tune in to see Jones unveil the No. 43 STP Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 paint scheme on Thursday, April 27 at 6 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1 (check local listings).

Quoting Erik Jones: “Dover is a cool place, I like going there. It’s been a fun track and it’s fast. As far as qualifying goes, Dover is one of the higher intensity tracks of the season, because of the speed you have to carry. It is really a cool track, and I am looking forward to competing in the Allegiant Chevy this weekend. Now, with the Next Gen cars we move around a lot and you can run similar lanes as the old car if you run the bottom, so it was more similar in my opinion and probably more similar than most guys thought. I don’t expect to see anything out of the ordinary, and I am hoping to build off our success in Talladega.”
