Poirier is the No. 2-ranked competitor in the UFC lightweight category. He is a father, hard worker and dream chaser who’s not afraid to take the road less traveled.

“Dustin will enjoy an action-packed and exhilarating NTT INDYCAR SERIES experience this Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park,” said Penske Entertainment Vice President of Corporate Communications Alex Damron. “He’ll see firsthand that the fight for the podium at one of our events is both exceptionally fierce and extremely thrilling, and we’re honored to welcome him to the track.”

Hendrick Motorsports Shows ‘Em Who’s Boss

#24: William Byron, Hendrick Motorsports, Valvoline Chevrolet Camaro

NASCAR Cup Series Driver William Byron Celebrates Wins with NOGGIN Boss

PHOENIX (April 28, 2023) – When you win, it’s OK to get a big head. Hendrick Motorsports has almost 300 wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, so it’s only appropriate the team with a record 14 championships signed an official licensing agreement with NOGGIN Boss, the maker of the oversized headwear that have permeated the sports scene.

William Byron, driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, delivered Hendrick Motorsports wins No. 292 and No. 293 earlier this year with back-to-back triumphs at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Phoenix Raceway. In each trip to victory lane, Byron emulated the look of bowl-winning college football players and a raft of other high-profile athletes by wearing a NOGGIN Boss hat. Hendrick Motorsports was ready for the moment, with the cartoonishly large lids at the ready and emblazoned with Byron’s primary partners – RaptorTough.com at Las Vegas and Valvoline at Phoenix.

“Victory lane is like the winner’s locker room. It’s where everyone wants to be and it’s a larger-than-life moment. What better way to highlight that kind of achievement than with a larger-than-life hat?” said NOGGIN Boss co-founder Gabe Cooper. “The hat just brings so much joy to people. We call it the ‘NOGGIN Boss effect’ because when you wear it, you give away so many smiles and have so many conversations with complete strangers. It gives you more happiness than holding a puppy.”

Similar to the buzz created last fall when professional football player Brian Robinson donned a NOGGIN Boss hat after a primetime victory on Sunday night, Byron celebrating his wins with NOGGIN Boss brought buzz to NASCAR. Hendrick Motorsports was NOGGIN Boss’ first NASCAR licensee, and the same kind of hat Byron used to celebrate in victory lane is available on the team’s website and at NOGGINBoss.com.

NOGGIN Boss went viral after Robinson wore its hat during his locker-room interviews on Nov. 27, 2022. Orders for hats spiked 2,000 percent and co-founders Cooper and Sean Starner had an overnight success, provided one’s definition of “overnight” means starting the company in 2019, weathering the COVID-19 pandemic, and persevering long enough to create the wave NOGGIN Boss has ridden into the mainstream.

“There had been little innovation in sports and promotional apparel in decades. Just look at the foam finger – it’s over 50 years old!” Starner said. “We love hats, and we came up with a high-quality, fully customizable cap tailored for diehard fans.”

The first big break for NOGGIN Boss came a little over a year ago. It was March 11, 2022 on the popular TV show Shark Tank where Cooper and Starner pitched their big idea. The duo came out of the Tank with the backing of not only Daymond John, the founder and CEO of Fubu, but also a commitment from Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who provided a tangible case study by selling NOGGIN Boss hats inside his NBA team’s store.

“We’ve been flooded with requests for professionally licensed NOGGINs and we’re genuinely excited to enter the racing realm with Hendrick Motorsports,” Cooper said. “We recently launched a line of NOGGINs for NCAA teams and are so excited to see fans reppin’ their favorite collegiate teams.”

With such mainstream events as the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum, which unofficially kicked off NASCAR’s 75th anniversary on Feb. 5 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and the inaugural Chicago Street Race on July 2 around downtown Chicago’s Grant Park before the 10-month campaign culminates in NOGGIN Boss’ hometown of Phoenix with the NASCAR season finale on Nov. 5, NASCAR has quickly become a growth market for NOGGIN Boss.

“It’s been absolutely incredible to be an official licensee of Hendrick Motorsports. They’re winning races and are in contention for another championship,” Cooper said. “Watching William jump out of his car after a victory is our slogan in action – ‘Use Your NOGGIN: Be a BOSS.’

“NOGGIN Boss is now trending across all sports and attracting celebrities and musical artists. The racing adage of ‘Win on Sunday, sell on Monday’ has never been more accurate.”

Those wanting to learn more about NOGGIN Boss and the opportunities available as a licensee can contact the company here.

GMS Racing and Grant Enfinger Partner with Chevrolet to Promote Their Military Appreciation Initiative

STATESVILLE, NC: GMS Racing is proud to announce a continuation of its partnership with Chevrolet and unveil a special, one race paint scheme to be driven by Grant Enfinger in the upcoming NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway.

Having competed exclusively with Chevrolet vehicles since the team’s inception in 2012, GMS Racing has had a successful partnership with the winningest manufacturer in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series to account for a total of 42 race wins and two series championships in 2016 and 2020. Partnering with the brand at Kansas will present the team with a neat opportunity to run a special red, white, and blue paint scheme promoting the Chevy Military Appreciation initiative.

The patriotic paint scheme will coincide perfectly with a transition into the NASCAR Salutes Together with Coca Cola campaign, which begins in May and runs through August, that celebrates the brave members of the military branches and honoring their commitment to defending the country.

General Motors is recognizing their commitment with one of their own. The men and women of the U.S. Military are devoted to giving their all in the line of duty. In recognition of this bravery, the Chevy Military Appreciation offer is their promise to give service members the special offer they deserve. “We are proud to partner with GMS Racing to feature Chevrolet’s Military Appreciation Program on Grant Enfinger’s No. 23 Silverado RST at Kansas Speedway,” said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet CMO . “General Motors has supported the U.S. military for more than 100 years and we take tremendous pride in giving back to those who serve and sacrifice for our country. We look forward to continuing to honor and celebrate U.S. service members and their families throughout Military Appreciation Month.”

Enfinger is proud to represent Chevrolet, saying “It is so cool to see the commitment that everybody at General Motors and Chevrolet have in supporting our military. I have the utmost respect for the men and women of our armed forces and am glad to hear about the program that Chevy has to offer for those individuals. They are a huge factor in our team’s success, and I’m happy to run this special paint scheme for them in Kansas. We have had some decent runs at that racetrack in the past, so I am optimistic that we can have a good race for everyone this time around.”

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series heads to Kansas Speedway for its next scheduled event on Saturday, May 6th. Motor Speedway.

Future Focused: With AM’s inaugural Xfinity journey set to continue at The Monster Mile in Dover, Del., the team has chosen veteran driver Brett Moffitt to lead the team’s campaign from the driver’s seat aboard the No. 25 Ford Mustang.

Moffitt, a native of Grimes, Iowa hails numerous starts across all three of NASCAR’s National Series, including the 2018 Truck Series championship with Hattori Racing Enterprises.

Moffitt, 30, arrives on the scene at AM Racing after a stint at Our Motorsports.

Back For More: The Statesville, N.C.-based team will sport the signage of AM Technical Solutions on the No. 25 Ford Mustang for the 10th of 33 NASCAR Xfinity Series races this season.

Headquartered in Austin, TX, AM Technical Solutions (AMTS) was founded in 1994.

AM Technical Solutions is a Global Architecture, Engineering & Construction firm specializing in the high-tech markets. AMTS has managed over $20B of global capital projects for over 170 different customers in 24 countries and across five continents.

Midnight Madness: For Saturday afternoon’s A-Game 200, AM Racing will feature a black and white No. 25 AM Technical Solutions Ford Mustang paint scheme.

Before the start of the season, the team held a social media campaign where race fans were able to vote for a number of black-themed AM Technical Solutions paint schemes.

Saturday’s paint scheme was the second-most-popular scheme following the team’s all-black No. 25 AM Technical Solutions Ford Mustang that competed at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway in March with Moffitt finishing sixth.

The team is competing with the same chassis that captured the team’s second top-10 finish of the season in the fifth Xfinity Series race of the season.

AM Minute: AM Racing pulled double duty last weekend at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

In addition to Moffitt’s Xfinity Series campaign, Christian Rose made his ARCA Menards Series debut at the 2.66-mile superspeedway.

Having one of the fastest cars in the field, the West Virginia native aboard the No. 32 West Virginia Tourism | Secure Testing Services Ford Mustang was plagued by fuel pump issues throughout the 76-lap race.

Still, Rose embraced the setback and utilized his Talladega debut to continue to improve his racing craft and earned a respectable 17th-place finish in the General Tire 200.

Thanks For Your Support: With more than 27 percent of the 2023 season complete, AM Racing and Brett Moffitt would like to thank their associate marketing partners for their support: AIRBOX Air Purifier, CForce Bottling Company, Concrete Supply, Destiny Homes, Flying Circle, Kreuz Market, Lane Frost Brand, Mechanix Wear and Mobil 1.

Brett Moffitt Xfinity Series Dover Motor Speedway Stats: Saturday afternoon’s Ag-Pro 300 will mark Moffitt’s fifth Xfinity start at the iconic 1.0-mile speedway.

In his previous four efforts, he has delivered one top-10 and four top-15 finishes. His track-best result occurred during the 2020 first edition of the Drydene 200 when Moffitt steered to a 10-place finish after starting on the pole by NASCAR metrics for Our Motorsports.

In addition to Xfinity, Moffitt also has four NASCAR Cup Series and three NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series starts at Dover.

Brett Moffitt Xfinity Series Speedway Stats: At NASCAR Xfinity Series tracks classified as a speedway, Moffitt has made 46 starts throughout his career earning 16 top-10 finishes. He also holds an average finishing position of 15.5.

Brett Moffitt NASCAR Xfinity Series Career Stats: In 93 career Xfinity Series starts, Moffitt has earned two top-five and 26 top-10 finishes, including a second-place outing at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February 2021.

He earned a career-best Xfinity Series qualifying effort of fourth earlier this year at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway with AM Racing.

In addition to 93 Xfinity Series starts, he has achieved 45 NASCAR Cup Series and 92 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series starts to his credit.

Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway | Ag-Pro 300 Race Recap: In the most recent NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, Brett Moffitt and the AM Racing team tackled the breathtaking 2.66-mile superspeedway.

Without the benefit of practice, Moffitt and the team delivered the fastest qualifying lap by a Ford Mustang in 10th on Friday afternoon.

During the race on Saturday afternoon, Moffitt quickly showed that his No. 25 AM Technical Solutions Ford Mustang was strong enough to win the race. Leading a race-high 20 laps, Moffitt’s attempt to win his first Xfinity Series race was derailed by two late-race spins.

Still, Moffitt was able to emerge from the carnage and post a respectable 12th-place result.

In nine races this season, Moffit has delivered three top-10s, five top-15s and an average finish of 17.3.

From the Pit Box: Industry veteran Joe Williams is Brett Moffit’s crew chief.

He will be crew chief for his 108th NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday and his fifth race at Dover Motor Speedway.

In his previous 107 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, he has collected one win (Auto Club Speedway | February 2022), seven top-five and 24 top-10 finishes.

Brett Moffitt Quoteboard:

On Dover Motor Speedway: “I always enjoy racing at Dover. There isn’t another racetrack like it on the schedule. Overall, it has been a pretty good track for me and I have been able to finish inside the top-15 in my four previous races.

“While I was happy with our performance last weekend at Talladega, I was frustrated by the finish with our No. 25 AM Technical Solutions Ford Mustang because of how good of a racecar my AM Racing team brought me.

“We’ll go to Dover and look to continue what we showcased at Talladega.”

On 2023 Season Outlook: “There has been so much effort put into the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season and honestly, I am so excited about it. I cannot thank everyone on the AM Racing team enough for the opportunity and for taking a chance on me to lead them in the inaugural year.

“I feel like in the first four months we have definitely proved ourselves in the series, but we realize there is more work to be done.

2 Marketing Dos And Don’ts For Auto Businesses

Running an automotive business is already challenging in itself. Not only do you have to ensure profits are met to keep the business profitable, but you also have to maintain customer satisfaction. The goal would be for your auto business to be clients’ go-to within your local area for all their auto-related concerns. But how can you secure this edge among your competitors?

There are many ways to grab their attention, the most pressing of which relates to proper marketing activities. The right marketing strategies create brand awareness, boost customer attention, and increase foot traffic, among many other effects. Visit digitalspotlight.com.au to learn more.

With the fast-paced competition in the automotive industry, businesses in this sector are under extra pressure to bolster their visibility and get this right. To help you get started, here’s a compilation of do’s and don’ts to remember with regard to your auto repair marketing strategies

The Do’s

  1. Do Include Your Logo And Business Name

This may seem like a no-brainer, but you’ll be surprised to discover how many business owners still forget to add their logo and name to every signage they use. Remember, the logo and business name go together. This means including both and not just either one of the two.

Having your business name and logo on your location’s signage is not enough. You have to incorporate it into all of your marketing paraphernalia to build brand recognition. By doing so, the general public will be able to associate your logo with your business name.

This business recognition is crucial for high memory recall. That way, your auto repair shop becomes a local household industry name in your area. Not only do you have local customers, but even those customers recommend your business to others without hesitation.

  1. Do Focus On Website Branding

Having a website is vital for your automotive business. Potential clients often search the internet first to compare different businesses. Without a website, your business may miss out on potential customers and not even make it onto their list of options. However, incorporating information such as contact information, photos of services, and an online booking platform can improve credibility and customer satisfaction.

By focusing on website branding, your automotive business can take advantage of the benefits that come with having an online presence. All necessary information is readily available, and customers can make queries and book services without having to visit the physical shop. Therefore, it is never too late to invest in a website for your automotive business to keep up with the digital landscape and attract more customers.

The Don’ts

  1. Don’t Ignore Your Building’s Condition

One of the most common mistakes business owners commit is thinking their building is fine as it is. It’s an automotive business, after all. There’s no need for anything fancy. This is true, in some sense, but never to the point that you’re okay with your building looking like it’s in a very desperate state.

When was the last time you gave your building a re-do? Is there anything about it you’d like to improve? For instance, perhaps there are broken tiles and ceilings. Maybe your furniture is too worn out. Is the ventilation still good in your receiving area, where clients waiting for their vehicles sit and relax?

Once it looks like it could desperately use some work, invest in some repairs. It takes a huge chunk off your profit, yes. But, the return on investment those repairs bring is relatively high. Clients will look forward to taking in your business’ services because of your tried-and-tested reputation and because they’re comfortable enough on your premises.

 2. Don’t Skip Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Businesses know how crucial search engine optimization (SEO) is, and automotive firms aren’t exempt from this. Once your website is up and running, you must focus your efforts even deeper by ensuring SEO is observed.

When an Internet user keys in ‘auto repair shop near me’ on their search engine, your business should make it one of the top search results. This is achieved by incorporating the right keywords on your website content and regularly following through on the latest applicable SEO metrics.

Takeaway

Whether your auto business is already thriving on a steady flow of loyal customers or you just started your venture, there’s always a need for stable and effective marketing activities. Your automotive business should be the top name on the list of local customers seeking automotive services due to its trustworthy reputation and proven quality of services. Marketing makes a big difference in achieving this, but only as far as you can maintain what you should and shouldn’t do. Hence, take note of the points explained above.

CLASSIC COLLISION SECURES MULTI-RACE SPONSORSHIP WITH ELLIS, ALPHA PRIME RACING

Ryan Ellis and Alpha Prime Racing are proud to announce that Classic Collision will debut as the primary sponsor of the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro in the Alsco Uniforms 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 8th.

Classic Collision’s No.43 Chevy scheme will make its NASCAR debut when the green flag drops in Atlanta for the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The Atlanta-based auto body repair company first appeared on Ellis’ No.43 Chevy at Talladega Superspeedway last week in a career-best result of 11th. Classic Collision will also be sponsoring Ellis at Texas Motor Speedway later this year in a secondary capacity, and the pair hopes to grow the partnership in 2023 and beyond.

“I’ve been really excited about the potential of this program since the day I started speaking with Classic Collision,” said Ryan Ellis, driver of the No.43 Classic Collision Chevy Camaro.

“We’ve got a great family of automobile-focused sponsors like CorvetteParts.net/ Keen Parts, Costa Oil, and a few other really exciting partners
we have yet to announce, and this could not be a better fit to join that family. I plan on getting my personal vehicle fixed up by Classic Collision as soon as possible, and anyone that saw the last Atlanta Xfinity race knows it is hard to imagine a better race for them to sponsor than this. I hope we can avoid the chaos with the Classic Collision No.43 and bring home a great result for them in their first race.”

Classic Collision is one of the largest privately held national providers of auto body repairers originating in Atlanta, Georgia. Now offering more options to you and your families with over 200 state-of-the-art repair facilities across the United States.

“Classic Collision has been a leading collision repair company in Atlanta, Georgia, for nearly 40 years. Partnering with Ryan Ellis and the Alpha Prime Racing team for this particular race in our home market just made sense; it’s a great way to showcase the FUN we have within our
growing organization,” said Charlie Drake, Chief Operating Officer of Classic Collision. “We look forward to seeing the Classic Collision brand highlighted as our teammates cheer on Ryan Ellis’ No.43 here in Atlanta and the other races we support and attend this year.”

DEX Imaging Team Preparing for the Monster Mile

After some positive experiences at Talladega Superspeedway, Harrison Burton and the DEX Imaging team have turned their focus to this weekend’s Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway.

Crew chief Brian Wilson said he was pleased to see his team’s car lead the GEICO 500 at Talladega for 11 laps during a stretch in which Burton and his fellow Ford driver Ryan Blaney waged a 1-2 battle for the lead.

“It was great to see the No. 21 Ford Mustang up front at Talladega and leading laps,” Wilson said. “Everyone including our pit crew, Ford Performance, Roush Yates Engines and Harrison all did a great job to place our car at the front of the field.

“Also, it was great to be a part of surprising Jeff Burton with the announcement of being included in the top 75 drivers in NASCAR’s history. Personally, I’m curious to see how many of the final 75 have driven a car for the Wood Brothers team.”

With Talladega in the rear-view mirror, Wilson, Burton and the DEX Imaging team now are busy preparing for the high-banked one-mile concrete track known as the Monster Mile.

“As we head to Dover we’re studying all that has changed since the early May race last year,” Wilson said. “Several rule changes, a new Mustang body and the quick learning curve of the Cup series are all included.”

Wilson also noted that the track is one of his favorites.

“Dover is one of the most dramatic tracks that you can watch a car turn a lap on,” he said. “The high speeds, hard loading and moving racing lines make it one of my favorite tracks to visit.

“I’m excited for the weekend and the chance to keep improving with the No. 21 team.”

Practice for the Wurth 400 is set for Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time, with qualifying following at 11:20. FOX Sports 2 will carry the broadcast.

Sunday’s 400-mile race is scheduled to get the green flag just after 2 p.m. with TV coverage on FOX Sports 1.

Stage breaks are planned for Laps 120 and 250.
