Zachary Tinkle To Compete For 2023 ARCA East Championship with Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track Racing

After racing with Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track Racing team half of the 2022 ARCA Menards series races and accomplishing 9th place in the championship overall as a result, Zachary Tinkle and Fast Track Racing are pleased to announce that Tinkle will be competing for the ARCA Menards Series East Championship in 2023.

Zachary Tinkle commented, “Racing with Andy Hillenburg and the Fast Track Racing team was a tremendous opportunity in the 2022 season. If it weren’t for Andy, I would not have ended up ninth in the ARCA Menards championship standings. This gave me the chance to get to know him and the team. I have full confidence in them and I think we’ve put together a great program for 2023 and I can’t wait to get back to the race track.”

Tinkle will be in the team’s number 11 car. “I’m very honored that Andy trusts me to run Fast Track’s flagship number. I take great pride and responsibility to living up to the history,” Tinkle added.

When asked about Zachary Tinkle coming on board, Hillenburg reflected, “There are a lot of great up and coming drivers, but once in a while, one gets a little closer to your heart. I’ve watched Zachary since early on in his career and he has done very well while having to do it the hard way – much like myself earlier in my career. I really want to see what Zachary can do with a solid and planned effort. This is going to be a fun year!”

The ARCA Menards East series will consist of eight short track races at various tracks in multiple states. Four of the East races will be standalone while four of the races will be combo races with the ARCA Menards Series. One of those combo races will be at Tinkle’s ARCA home track: Lucas Oil IRP. Races will be streamed live on FloRacing with delayed replays on the USA Network.

New-look Veloce Racing finish Season 2 strongly

A dramatic second campaign for Extreme E came to close on the 26-27 November in Punta Del Este, Uruguay, with surprise package Veloce Racing turning heads all weekend.

The Uruguay Natural Energy X Prix marked a new line-up for the team, with Kevin Hansen and Molly Taylor – who already boast numerous Extreme E silverware between them – aiming to make an impact.

That they did – becoming only the third team in the series’ history to finish as top qualifiers, topping the Saturday Qualifying standings by finishing second in Q1 and winning their Q2 Heat.

After their impressive Qualifying performance, Veloce Racing showed no signs of slowing down, with Hansen and Taylor performing brilliantly in Semi-Final 1. A highlight was Hansen achieving a critical and expert overtake on the ODYSSEY 21 of No.99 GMC HUMMER EV Chip Ganassi Racing, securing the win and advancing the team to the Final – their first of 2022.

Hansen took to the wheel first, with a good launch off the start line placing him in second. However, with five cars vying for top position into turn one, the Veloce car was forced wide, dropping to the back of the pack.

Both drivers continued to chase down the podium on the evolving track, but a late clash for Taylor with the title winning X44 Vida Carbon Racing car, ensured the team would have to settle for a credible fifth place finish.

Despite the Final not reflecting their pace potential, the weekend remains a significant step forward for the team, setting the tone for what Veloce Racing hopes to be a much improved 2023.

Molly Taylor, Veloce Racing, said: “It was an amazing weekend for us. We all have experience of Extreme E, but to work together for the first time and really click straight away is fantastic.

“We have produced some really strong results and we know that we have a lot of potential. We did everything we could, and we would have loved to have stood on the podium, but ultimately there have been so many positives and we’re all completely focussed now on the 2023 Extreme E season.”

Kevin Hansen, Veloce Racing, added: “It has been a fantastic first weekend and event together here at Veloce Racing. We have really created an amazing team spirit already, and we feel that we can only get stronger from here.

“I have felt really comfortable in the car and the performance has been there – we were for sure one of the fastest teams. P1 in Qualifying and in the Semi-Finals tells you that, but we were a little unlucky in the Final.

“I did my best in the dust, and Molly also did fantastically well, so overall we can be really happy because we have proven we can win races, which is where we want to be next season.”

Hansen and Taylor will be back again for Season 3, which kicks off on 11-12 March 2023 in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.

Car Tuning 101

Photo by Damir Kopezhanov on Unsplash

While for many people a car is just a medium of transportation from getting A to B, there are some who regard their car as so much more than that. A car to them is a hobby, a passion. This piece is for them.

Car tuning is a wide term and if we don’t go into specifics, it means improving the overall appearance and performance of your vehicle. Also, there are no hard fast rules to follow as the modification is all about the personalization of the vehicle. If you want a small spoiler or minimum engine sound, it’s all right. The process is quite extensive with many stages of tuning cars. The areas generally targeted are as follows.

Engine

Sometimes the whole engine is replaced with a new one but this is an extreme case and not always recommended. If one has the will to work, the stock engine of a good car provides ample room for modifications. Tuning an engine is not essentially replacing it. One simple way is to increase the cylinder capacity which will allow more fuel and air to burn, leading to more power. Turbo and Superchargers are also applied to improve the engine performance. The car’s electronic engine management system can also be tuned but we recommend going to an expert for it.

Lowering

While engine tuning remains under the hood, lowering results in immediate impressions. In addition to being more aesthetic, it provides a lower center of gravity and hence increased road grip, especially on curves at high speed. Some people consider lowering unpractical, it obstructs the view and not all roads are too smooth to support a lowered vehicle, bumps and jolts can easily scratch your car.

Suspension

A stock car is to target the wider public, the “practical” ones. If you are tuning your car, tuning its suspension components can do wonders. Suspension tuning enhances the car’s handling thus making it more appealing. Moreover, you can also use a blend of short springs and firm shock absorbers. If you don’t want too much, go for a standard sports suspension which gives a sporty look with standard comfort.

Hydraulic suspension systems are a good option providing flexibility as per the required conditions.

Wheels

Rims are the most targeted area of car modification. The options available are simply countless. For some looks the rims are everything but experts know that it is the material of the rims that weigh equally. Moreover, certain restrictions are applied when it comes to rims. You need to check your Certificate of Conformity before finalizing anything. While steel rims are suitable for winter conditions, they are heavy and can rust too. Aluminum rims though expensive are quite good, providing better dynamics.

Similarly, the tires must be of good quality too as they ultimately decide the road grip. Make sure they are not poorly fitted or flattened.

Exhaust System

Exhaust pipes come in many options but it all depends on personal preferences. The tailpipe can be modified to give a sportier look. By tuning the exhaust system, you can significantly change the sound of the car. But ensure their approval before installing.

Your Car Deserves More

Photo by Peter Broomfield on Unsplash

Most of us enjoy a good ride and like to keep ours in optimum condition. There are some for whom a car is just a utility. This article is not for them. Generation Z especially has no shortage of car enthusiasts. The personal touch a little modification provides is something to be cherished. Without going into structural modifications, one can successfully enjoy better performance and aesthetics by maximizing the efficiency of exhaust and air flows. The suspension system can also be touched upon to improve performance. For a step further, nitrous can be added but we recommend checking out beforehand that you are not violating any rules. In a nutshell, there are no hard and fast rules for modifying a car. A car is what you make it.

Before embarking upon the road to modification, you must have a basic knowledge of cars and how they work. You should be aware of what’s going on under the hood at least rudimentarily. Basic maintenance comes first. Change your oils regularly, keep your car clean, make sure the tires are in proper shape, and follow the recommended service schedule.

You can get enough power output to satisfy yourself just by professional tune-ups which include air/fuel filter changes, high-powered spark plugs, optimal fuel economy, and tire pressure to ensure that the vehicle doesn’t lag. Only after making sure that your car runs smoothly in its stock condition, you can move on toward additional alterations.

Replacing your stock intake pipe with over-the-counter ones can maximize your power. You must also change the air filter to a compatible one. This will allow cold air to travel to your engine, bringing more oxygen, hotter burning of fuel, and hence more horsepower. For this to work properly, you will also need a higher outflow exhaust. You can just change the front pipes or if you like the entire exhaust system for more power. If your engine is turbocharged, a large diameter pipe will have a significant effect on its performance. For newer cars, recalibration of the engine control unit does the trick by bringing the balance between performance and fuel consumption.

How your car handles itself is very important. You can swap your suspension system per your preference. If you replace the springs and shocks with some stiffer options, although your comfort will be compromised a little, the traction of the car can be improved considerably. Combined with suspension tuning this will put you in a refined handling position. Learning the difference between stability control vs traction control is very important to understand the phenomenon for every car enthusiast.

You will be amazed to know how much tires affect your car’s performance. For better results swap your stock tires with performance ones. Before purchasing, the tire’s speed rating must be checked. Also, don’t wait for your tire to be completely worn out, always go with good healthy tires to prevent any unfortunate accident.

For aesthetics, you can do whatever you like. From spoilers to grills, and skirts you can add so much to your car. This is one place where you can freely apply your creative skills.

5 Tips for Selling Home for Higher Price

Photo by Francesca Tosolini on Unsplash

If you’re ready to sell your house, you may want to sell it quickly. Whether you’re moving for a new job that begins soon or have a pending offer on a new property, it’s critical to generate interest in your home, particularly if you need to close fast. The more prospective buyers you can bring in, the higher your prospects of selling quickly and for a decent price. Consider here a property rescue.

Whatever your motivation for selling, here are 5 tips for selling a property fast, even in a weak market.

  1. It should be priced to sell

Pricing your property competitively is one of the most effective strategies to sell it quickly. If you overprice anything, you will turn off prospective buyers as well as possible bids. Furthermore, if potential buyers ask you to lower your price, the negotiating process may take longer.

  1. Repair and clean

Repair any small damage, such as holes in the walls, broken door knobs, cracked tiles, or ripped or worn carpets. Allow for this since many purchasers want to move in without making any alterations.

Fresh paint and updated trim can boost appeal without taking much time or money, and PVC brackets and corbels can help improve exterior details in a clean and polished way. Small upgrades like these help buyers notice care and upkeep the moment they arrive.

Everything should be cleaned until it shines. Remove limescale, clean and restore tile grout, wax hardwood floors, remove odors, and put up new towels. This will make the location more inviting and help people to picture themselves living there.

Clean up the garden by trimming back shrubs, cleaning the patio and furniture of lichen and grime, mowing the lawn, and contacting experts from Sunrise Irrigation to help keep the lawn nice and green. While this will not add much value to your property, it will make it more likely to sell, as buyers will see themselves using the garden.

  1. Turn it on

Increase the amount of light in your house. After location, the one thing that every buyer mentions in a property is adequate lighting. Remove the curtains, clean the windows, replace the lampshades, raise the wattage of your light bulbs, and trim the plants outside to let more sunlight in. You can also enhance the overall appeal by adding outdoor landscape lighting, which brightens walkways and highlights key features around your yard. Make your home as bright and happy as possible; this will increase its value.

To determine a reasonable price, your real estate agent (or realtor) will do research on similar houses (called “comps”) in your region. If you need to sell your property quickly, try pricing it somewhat cheaper to generate interest (and maybe even spark a bidding war). If you haven’t received any bids by a specific deadline, your agent may drop your asking price even more.

It’s also a good idea to consider the pricing points that buyers in your region are looking for. If you market your property for $302,000, for example, you would lose out on any possible buyers seeking for properties under $300,000. If asking for an additional $2,000 means fewer purchasers would view the house, it’s probably not worth it.

Because $299,000 has a distinct psychological impact on buyers than $300,000, just-below pricing is a common pricing tactic. This pricing method is used in supermarkets and online shopping.

  1. Hide the critters

You may assume that a cute puppy would win over prospective purchasers, but you’d be incorrect. Not everyone loves dogs or cats. Buyers do not want to enter your house and see a dish of dog food, smell the kitten litter box, or have tufts of pet hair clinging to their clothing. It gives buyers the impression that your home is dirty. Send the pets to a pet motel for the day if you’re having an open house.

  1. Increase kerb appeal

Kerb appeal makes a lasting first impression; most buyers make their decision within the first few minutes of arriving at a house.

Our YouGov study of over 2,000 UK people found that well-maintained windows and a roof that seemed in excellent condition were the most important elements for kerb appeal. A well-kept front lawn, paths and fences, and a freshly painted facade were all essential. See how much it would cost to make some minor changes to the outside of your house, such as investing in a battery leaf blower to keep your lawn looking pristine, to improve its curb appeal and value.

People must be able to imagine what the property would look like if they lived there. People often struggle with this, so make it simple for them to see all of the wonderful living space you have to offer. However, don’t make it appear like a generic motel; retain some character. Apart from that, it provides unimaginative purchasers with ideas for what they might do.

Unlock the Secrets of RTP Slot Games for Big Wins

Photo by Lee Thomas on Unsplash

Unlocking the secret of RTP slot games will enable you to win more money. Here we’ll discuss the basics of RTP, how it relates to slot games, and how you can use this knowledge to give yourself an edge.

1. What is RTP?

RTP stands for “Return to Player” and is used to describe the percentage of money a player can expect to receive back in the long run when playing a slot game. This percentage is calculated over thousands of rounds of play and can range from a low of around 85% to a high of over 99%. The higher the RTP, the more money a player can expect to receive back in the long run.

When choosing a slot game to play, it’s important to note that the RTP is only an estimate, and the actual results may vary. Additionally, the RTP does not guarantee that a player will win a certain amount of money in any given session. It simply provides a general expectation of the game’s return.

2. How to Calculate RTP

RTP is calculated by multiplying the total amount wagered by the total amount won, then subtracting the total amount wagered from the total amount won. This calculation is usually provided by the casino or game developer, allowing players to easily calculate the expected return rate. For example, if a game has an RTP of 95%, and $100 is wagered, the expected return would be $95.

In some cases, the RTP may be based on a specific number of rounds or spins or even over the game’s lifetime. This means that the RTP may increase or decrease over time, depending on the number of rounds played. In addition, certain games may have different RTPs depending on the type of bet placed. For instance, a game may have an RTP of 95% if the player bets the maximum amount but a lower RTP of 85% if the player bets the minimum amount.

3. Identifying High RTP Slots

The best way to identify high rtp slot games is to look for the RTP information directly on the game. This is usually displayed either in the game’s paytable or in the game’s help section. Additionally, some casinos may display the RTP of a game on the game page.

It’s also important to note that some games may have different RTPs depending on the type of bet placed. For instance, a game may have an RTP of 95% if the player bets the maximum amount but a lower RTP of 85% if the player bets the minimum amount. Therefore, checking the RTPs for all bet options is vital before playing.

4. Strategies for Maximizing Wins

Once a player has identified a high RTP slot game, they can use a few strategies to maximize their winnings. One of the most effective strategies is to bet the maximum amount allowed on each spin. This will ensure that the player is getting the highest possible RTP from the game.

Another strategy is to bet the minimum amount allowed but to play for a longer period. This will maximize the player’s chance of getting a higher RTP over the lifetime of the game. Additionally, it’s essential to set a budget and stick to it, as this will help to ensure that a player can enjoy the game without risking too much of their bankroll.

Conclusion

RTP slot games are a great way for players to increase their chances of winning big. Players can maximize their potential winnings by choosing games with a high RTP and following a few simple strategies. With the right knowledge and skills, players can unlock the secrets of RTP slot games and turn them into a huge source of income.

Are Forward-Fold Campers Taking Over?

Forward-folding campers have changed the camper trailer game in a big way. In recent years, more people are opting for the simplicity and sophistication of this design over the old rear-fold campers. However, deciding whether forward-fold campers are taking over requires considering how the camper is doing in the market.

Why Are People Going for Forward-Fold Campers?

Firstly, more people are going for forward-fold campers because of their many advantages over their rear-fold counterparts. Here are some benefits of forward-fold campers enabling the style to take over the market gradually.

Easy Set-up

The first benefit of making outdoor enthusiasts gravitate towards forward-fold campers is the ease of set-up. You only need to set up the poles and ensure extensions are correctly raised. Once you get the desired, you are good to go.

Less Footprint

One of the significant advantages of a forward-fold camper is that they occupy little space in a campsite. The top opens up, providing extra space without taking up more land area. This feature also makes this camper suitable for driving around. Imagine moments you want to get some takeouts from a drive-through or stock up on supplies from a mart.

Comfort

Forward-fold campers gradually take over because they tend to be more comfortable than most rear-fold campers. They have hard floors that are becoming more preferred by camping enthusiasts as they provide solid floors to hold heavy items. These campers also allow you to set up additional beds, leveraging the extra space above. With this, you won’t have to set up tents at camps if you don’t want to do so.

Tips for Buying a Forward-Fold Camper Trailer

After evaluating forward-fold campers’ benefits, you may embrace the style and buy one. In that case, you should know what to look for in a forward-fold camper before making the purchase. Here are some tips for buying a forward-fold camper that you should know.

Image: Cub Campers

Specifications

Check your camper trailer’s specifications thoroughly to ensure that it has all you need to use it. This task also ensures you get your money’s worth in the camper. You can pay more for sophisticated campers with special off-road camping features.

Additional Features

Whether buying a new camper or a used one, you should get as much value out of the purchase as possible. See if your dealer or the seller can throw in additional features like camping tables, portable chairs, water tanks and fishing gear. Getting some of those will reduce how much you have to spend to fit your camper later.

Budget

Know your budget and how to get the best available camper. There is usually an abundance of new and used campers on sale; you can be sure to get a camper within any reasonable budget. You should also consider your budget before pointing at a fancy camper.

Conclusion

Forward-fold campers are taking over the camper trailer space. Newer models offer competitive features that attract buyers. Some rear-fold campers are trying to keep up, but the difference between the two is the deciding factor. Forward-fold campers tend to offer all the benefits of the rear-fold camper with a few additional ones.

Round 3 Racing Wins WRL National Championship Title at COTA

Austin, Texas (5 December 2022) – The World Racing League (WRL) powered by Hagerty hosted the National Championship at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) this weekend as the 90 car field battled door-to-door on the F1-grade circuit to close out the season. Round 3 Racing (R3R) emerged from the weekend with two championships and new hardware with four podiums throughout the double-header weekend.

No. 401 TEAM HAGERTY MOTORSPORTS BMW M4 GT4 (GTO)

Wet conditions during Friday’s qualifying session put the No. 401 Hagerty Motorsports BMW fifth on the grid for the first race of the weekend. Cole Loftsgard took the driver’s seat first for the opening segment, battling for fourth position for nearly four hours before passing the controls over to Brad McCall. Maintaining fifth position, McCall handed the wheel to Sarah Montgomery who raced her way to fifth at the finish.

After a mechanical issue forced them to the rear of the field, Montgomery started the final race of the season at the back of the GTO grid. She swiftly made up 24 positions before the mechanical issues returned, forcing her into the pits before her stint was complete. McCall took the wheel right before a full course caution came out, gaining a lap back to run in 15th place. Loftsgard took the penultimate stint, driving the car up to sit 10th. With an hour left, Montgomery closed out the race which saw her fight forward before a pit road penalty saw the BMW slotted 12th at the finish.

The Hagerty Motorsports team finished the season with five podium finishes and six consecutive pole positions. They finished fifth overall in the national points standings for their first full season of competition in the BMW M4 GT4.

“This weekend tested the 401 squad both as drivers and as a team,” said Loftsgard. “But I’m really proud and thankful of the effort that Marc (Gomora), Kevin (Tong), and the rest of the R3R put forth towards the massive setup improvements through the weekend. It’s been a very memorable year with Brad (McCall) and Sarah (Montgomery). I’m so lucky to have been a part of it, and I’m so happy to see the championships that our R3R teammates have earned.”

No. 701 TEAM COOPER TIRES PORSCHE CAYMAN (GP1)

Starting Saturday’s race from third, Sabré Cook took the first stint onboard the Porsche Cayman and moved up to second before passing the car over to Loni Unser. She made her way up to lead the GP1 class. Brian Ghidinelli was the final driver to pilot the Team Cooper Tires Cayman. In the last 30 minutes of the race, the team made the critical call to pit for fuel as Ghidinelli returned to the fray in second. On the final lap, Ghidinelli passed for the lead to give Team Cooper Tires its fourth consecutive win of the season.

Sunday’s race saw Unser start from third as she maintained the podium position before handing the Cayman off to Cook under the first caution of the race. After going back green in fourth, Cook quickly made her way back to third.

Just about halfway through the race, Ghidinelli got in the Cayman in fourth and pushed his way up to second before handing the car back to Cook. With just a little over an hour remaining Cook charged forward, bringing home the second win of the weekend.

The Cooper Tires team took home its first WRL National Championship after earning wins at Barber Motorsports Park, VIRginia International Raceway, Sebring International Raceway, and COTA. The team had earned additional podiums at Barber, Road America, and VIR. The Cayman team also won the Eastern Championship at Sebring in November.

“This weekend we needed great driving, perfect pit stops and a little bit of luck,” said Ghidinelli. “Santa came early delivering two wins and a championship at COTA! The No. 701 ran flawlessly, which made the difference over 16 hours of racing. What a great way to end the season!”

No. 605 TEAM HAGERTY DRIVERS CLUB PORSCHE BOXSTER (GP3)

Dennis Neel was first up in the Hagerty Drivers Club Porsche Boxster for Saturday’s race. Neel was able to run consistent laps keeping the car in third before passing the Boxster to Carter Pease. He pushed forward to run second before the end of his stint. Hannah Grisham finished off Saturday’s race crossing the finish line in third.

Starting Sunday’s race Pease took the green flag from the second row. A brief caution brought Pease into pit lane for a driver change as Grisham took her turn in the car. Grisham was able to drive the car up to the race lead which saw her create a significant gap to second before Neel got in the car. Due to penalties being reversed on competitors, the Hagerty Drivers Club team was forced to finish third.

Following up on their 2022 WRL Eastern Championship, the Hagerty Drivers Club team won their second consecutive WRL National Championship. The team finished the season with six wins out of a total of eleven races. In addition to their haul of race wins, they earned a combined total of four more second and third place finishes.

“We were a bit off pace to start off on Friday and ended up qualifying third for Saturday,” said Pease. “On Saturday we finished third, which really helped us with our championship efforts. I started in the car on Sunday and we had really good pace, but some full course cautions and penalties getting over turned it worked out that our competitors had a bit of an advantage. It’s a great feeling to win back-to-back national championships! Dennis (Neel) and I were in the Boxster together last year, and it was great to run with him again this year alongside Hannah (Grisham) and Buz (McCall). I’m really happy to have this opportunity!”

The 2023 World Racing League powered by Hagerty season will begin January 20th at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, La. Round 3 Racing plans to make announcements about the next season in the upcoming weeks.

Racing is a Constant Bid for Improvement with LTK and Damon Racing

Bow, NEW HAMPSHIRE – December 5, 2022 – One of the most experienced drivers in the TA2 class, New Hampshire driver Tom Sheehan endured a somewhat frustrating season, but he nevertheless succeeded in making the Top 20 out of 76 entrants in the final Championship classification. Understandably, Tom resisted the temptation to travel across the country in 2022 to compete in the double-header out west in California. Something that inevitably prevented him from maximising his points total among the most competitive class in the Trans Am Series.

A regular in the top ten in previous seasons, Tom is acutely aware that professional sport, and motorsports, never stands still. We spoke to Tom about the Damon Racing team and how he sees the TA2 Series moving forward. Noting the ever expanding, and constantly improving nature of the TA2 paddock Tom said, “TA2 each season is an ever-growing field of talent.”

The No. 97 LTK Insulation Technologies Damon Racing Ford Mustang driver went on, “Each development I make as a driver and our team makes with the physical performance of the car is being met or exceeded by the competition. It’s important to have strategic alliances to maximize the efficiency of our team’s efforts.”

Of the developing relationship with Mike Cope and crew he added, “Mike Cope, Trevor and Jason are our partners. We all race for our best results. My team, Damon Racing, is a small team and Mike Cope’s support is on the level. Our team is grateful for the opportunity to work with Mike Cope Racing.”

Tom has also been working with 2022 Trans Am TA2 Champion Thomas Merrill and Tom Sheehan was full of praise, “Merrill is a great driver. The coaching he delivers accelerates my refinement as a driver. Squeezing performance out of a car is the driver’s job. That combination; set up, support and development. That’s the necessary ingredients to stay relevant in TA2.”

“Our team Jamie, Jeff, Matt, and Stephen – I can’t say enough about their dedication to our program. As a team member, it’s easy to dig deep and do the hard work staying in shape, staying sharp. When you are part of a community of racers like I am, you realize, how lucky you are. Most importantly you accept your responsibility in the process, the need to expect more out of yourself. Hard work, smart work, and never settle.” Wise words indeed.
