Sheehan Stays Top Ten After Challenging Outing at VIR

Bow, NEW HAMPSHIRE – September 29, 2021 – Ironman Tom Sheehan endured Virginia International Raceway this Sunday, September 27, on the Trans Am presented by Pirrelli SpeedTour weekend. Turn one on Lap 3 of the race resulted in contact and destroyed a right front tire. The No. 97 LTK Ford Mustang was forced behind the wall for repair with two additional trips to pit lane for a subsequent shear to the shifter. The LTK team finished to score 6 Championship points, keeping Sheehan in the top 10 for the season standings.

Tom had qualified the No. 97 LTK Insulation Technologies Ford Mustang in 1:50:832 for P12 on the grid for the green flag. The Mike Cope Racing Mustang was performing well all weekend.

Comments from the Granite State driver after the race, “We had a solid performance at VIR, the Mike Cope Racing tent rallied and my team rallied. We had some adverse situations in our race and it didn’t go our way. The truth is we got dive bombed in Turn 1, I am disappointed. Our guys work hard, the No. 01 car works hard. We got taken out and it’s at the hands of a guy who was behind us. The 01 and the 97 cars had really rough weekends at the Glen. I know the 01 is in-line for Rookie of the Year, and he has to be disappointed as well.

The team will head to CoTA and I am up to the challenge it presents; I don’t care about the points. I don’t care about the season. I have one race in front of me, I am focusing on that. I want to thank Byron Koury, Jamie Aube, Mike Cope and my crew for a strong performance leading up to Lap 3, we did a great job here at VIR. We are going to get a little luck.”

The next outing for Damon Racing and the LTK Mustang is the season finale at Circuit of The Americas November 5 to 7. #GoLTK

Buescher on racing at Talladega:
“It’s no secret anymore that anything can happen on Superspeedway tracks, and that’s definitely been proven lately, especially in the scenarios this race offers in the fall. We’re confident and look forward to a good day Sunday with Violet Defense on board.”

Buescher finished 25th last weekend in Las Vegas.

“Talladega and Superspeedway racing will always be a toss-up as you never know what can happen other than there will be chaos and you just have to avoid it. Notes of Interest

● NASCAR Cup Series veteran Landon Cassill and partner Carnomaly return to the No. 96 Toyota Camry for Gaunt Brothers Racing (GBR) for the second time during Sunday’s YellaWood 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a special paint scheme on the No. 96 GBR Toyota this weekend will recognize a pair of individuals and their respective battles with cancer.

● Trisha Fennell, the sister-in-law of Carnomaly founder and CEO Scott Heninger, and 11-year-old Avery Pacheco are the individuals recognized on the No. 96 Carnomaly Toyota this weekend. Both are from Lewisville Texas, near the Dallas-Fort Worth-area headquarters of Carnomaly.

● Fennell is a two-time breast cancer survivor and her personal journey began when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2018. Being diagnosed twice with breast cancer was and is a physical and emotional journey for Fennell and she has learned that her new normal could be different from day to day. Alongside her husband and two young children, she stayed with her daily routine and activities as much as possible throughout her treatment, and is grateful for her strength and support system through her family and friends. Fennell is a true believer that you should take cancer head on and lean into it. A favorite quote she stands by is, “She stood in the storm and when the wind did not blow her away, she adjusted her sails.”

● Pacheco was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August 2019. Up until two weeks before her diagnosis, she was a completely healthy 9-year-old. She started the fourth grade and, like always, spent several nights at the cheer gym tumbling, stunting, and training with her team. She began complaining of pain in her leg and lower back and, days later, could no longer walk without help. After leukemia was confirmed, she had surgery to place a port in her chest that began a 30-month treatment plan, which has involved countless chemotherapy treatments, spinal taps, bone marrow biopsies, blood draws, chemo side effects, months of physical therapy learning to walk again and regain her strength, and multiple hospital stays. She is in her last phase of treatment and long-term maintenance with a just a few months of chemo left. Pacheco started middle school this fall and again is busy doing what she loves most, competitive cheer. Her positive attitude, strength and courage throughout her treatment has led to her new nickname of “brAVERY” among her family and friends.

● Sunday’s 500-mile race on the 2.66-mile Talladega oval will be the 326th of Cassill’s Cup Series career dating back to his debut on June 13, 2010 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. His start in the Carnomaly Toyota Aug. 29 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway was his first in the Cup Series since the 2019 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The 32-year-old from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was running at the front of the pack in the latter stages of that Daytona race with his fellow Toyota drivers when he was caught up in a multicar accident less than 20 laps from the finish. Sunday’s race at Talladega will be Cassill’s 18th Cup Series start at the track with best previous finishes of 11th scored in the 2014 and 2016 spring races.

● Carnomaly, the world’s leading automotive crypto company with an eye on revolutionizing the future of the automotive industry, made its first appearance as a NASCAR Cup Series primary team partner on the No. 96 GBR Toyota Aug. 28 at Daytona. Carnomaly’s fleet of tech solutions is designed to bring digital innovation to the automotive industry through the power of blockchain and crypto technology. Through the company’s innovation, Carnomaly is on a path to change the way consumers buy, sell, shop, report and finance new or used vehicles.

● The No. 96 Carnomaly Toyota Camry will be making GBR’s 80th start since joining the Cup Series as a part-time team in 2017 and its seventh start of 2021.Team owner Marty Gaunt’s almost two-decades-long relationship with Toyota dates back to his ownership of Toyota-powered Clean Line Racing in the Truck Series, which became Red Horse Racing, as well as his executive role in the formation of Red Bull’s nascent Toyota-powered Cup Series team. Gaunt’s Toyota ties strengthened after the 2008 season, when he purchased Triad Racing Development, which leased Toyota engines across NASCAR’s Cup, Xfinity and Truck series and continues to be NASCAR’s exclusive distributor of Toyota parts as Triad Racing. Gaunt founded GBR in 2010, with his eponymous team starting out in the Canada-based NASCAR Pinty’s Series and the U.S.-based NASCAR K&N Pro Series. Its first driver, Jason Bowles, scored GBR’s maiden victory in the 2011 Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway, with the precursor to that win being the pole position in track-record time at the 2011 Streets of Toronto 100. After seven years competing in NASCAR’s development divisions, Gaunt stepped up to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2017.

● Sunday’s race will be the eighth on the Talladega oval for the GBR Toyota. Parker Kligerman drove it to a best finish of 15th in the October 2019 race. In April, 20-year-old Harrison Burton took the reins of the GBR Toyota at Talladega in history-making fashion, becoming the first driver born in the 2000s to make a Cup Series start. Burton had a strong run, restarting as high as seventh in the closing laps of the race before getting shuffled back to 20th at the checkered flag.

Landon Cassill, Driver of the No. 96 Carnomaly Toyota Camry for Gaunt Brothers Racing

You’re back in the No. 96 Carnomaly Toyota after a strong run that ended abruptly at Daytona. What are your thoughts as you head to Talladega this weekend?

“Daytona was incredible. It felt so great to get back in the Cup car and, even more specifically, to drive a Cup car with that caliber of equipment. That was the best-driving car I’ve had at Daytona in a long time – it was the nicest car, the fastest car. We put ourselves in position to be able to have a great finish. We were right where we needed to be, with all the other Toyotas in the top-five with less than 20 laps to go and that’s where you want to be. But ‘Daytona’ does happen and I feel like there’s always something you can do as a driver and I always take responsibility for my own racecar, but it is a tough place. It motivates me even more for Talladega because I know we have the speed and I’m comfortable with this package and I’m comfortable with this Carnomaly Toyota.”

You said you were leaving Daytona trying to figure out what you could’ve done differently. Did you get it sorted out in your mind?

“I think it just kind of became more clear to me how the race was playing out and it confirmed the best strategy for me to advance through the field, especially during green-flag pit cycles. That’s something I’ll remember for Talladega because I do feel like Talladega is even more likely to have a green-flag pit cycle than Daytona, so we’ll definitely keep an eye on that. And I think my emphasis with being with the Toyotas for those green-flag pit stops will be even more important.”

After knowing Marty Gaunt for such a long time, what was it like to final work with Marty and his team for the first time?

“I think, for the most part, it was maybe confirmation about what I already knew about Marty and his team – they’re first-class and they’re a top-notch group. Racing at the superspeedways is a very complicated creature in the moment, but everything else leading up to it is pretty simple. They’re obviously great folks and they put together a great car. It’s confirmation, again, of everything I’ve already known about.”

To the casual observer, Daytona and Talladega appear very similar on paper and with how the racing appears on television. But, as a NASCAR veteran, would you agree?

“They’re just completely different racetracks, and that’s cool because superspeedway racing is such a special creature. It’s awesome to have two very different versions of superspeedway racing between the two tracks. Talladega is just a lot wider and it feels bigger because it’s so much wider, so running three-wide is so much easier. In fact, running four-wide is even a possibility there, and I would definitely expect to see that.”

Since it’s wider and it feels bigger, safe to say you’re more comfortable racing at Talladega?

“It just has its own characteristics. I wouldn’t say it’s more comfortable because you can just end up in a tighter group of more cars. The track is easier to drive on its own, so that can be considered comfortable. But, ultimately, it’s not any more comfortable than Daytona, definitely not with 40 cars out there.”

What was it like working with the other Toyota drivers for the first time at Daytona, and how might that help you at Talladega?

“A lot of it was really with the track and executing on the plan that they set out to do. That was the best thing for me. As a driver, I hate to say I was to do as I was told, but they’re a smart bunch, they brought a fast car, they had a strategy, and my job was to execute on it. I was happy to be in that role and I’ll be happy to do it again on Sunday at Talladega.”

You’re representing Carnomaly for the second time ever in the Cup Series. How has that experience been for you and your partner?

“Carnomaly has just been over the moon about it. They loved the exposure they got out of it. Their community had a lot of energy around the racecar and it was such a great moment for Carnomaly. I think if we can get their car out front again and get it on TV again, they may feel even better. Scott (Heninger, founder and CEO) from Carnomaly was at Daytona and he’ll be at Talladega again. I think he’s definitely caught the racing bug.”

Talk about the special paint scheme your racecar will be featuring at Talladega this weekend.

“With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to take the opportunity to recognize a couple of people close to Carnomaly who have fought the disease over the past few years. We have pink and gold ribbons along both sides of the car – pink for breast cancer and gold for childhood cancer. Trisha Fennell’s name is on the pink ribbon as she is a two-time cancer survivor and the sister-in-law of Scott Heninger, the founder and CEO of Carnomaly. Avery Pacheco is in the latter stages of her two-and-a-half-year battle with leukemia, which was diagnosed when she was just 9 years old. Both are true inspirations to their friends and family and everyone who knows them. And both are from Lewisville (Texas), which is near Carnomaly’s headquarters in Plano. Carrying the names of these two ladies will give us added incentive to go out and get a really strong finish in their honor on Sunday afternoon.”

Inspired by Young Fan, Kurt Busch Introduces, Window of Hope

Champion Driver Unveils Plans for NASCAR Industry to Recognize Breast Cancer Awareness

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 28, 2021) – NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) veteran driver Kurt Busch unveiled his Monster Energy Chevrolet Camaro with colored window nets; specifically, pink window nets, a unique look for his or any NASCAR race car. The 2004 NCS champion announced plans for the special window nets, dubbed “Window of Hope”, offering each team in the NCS field the opportunity to display a pink window net at next month’s running of the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 (The ROVAL) at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS). The inspiration for “Window of Hope” came from one of Busch’s young fans to show support for breast cancer survivors and those continuing to battle breast cancer.

In September of 2019 Kurt Busch received a letter from a young fan, Mason Bradley, expressing how big of a fan he was of the 2004 champion, and his hopes to one day meet Busch in-person. Mason’s letter included a hand-drawn image of Busch’s No. 1 Chevy and conclude, “maybe you could do the window net pink”. Bradley’s request for the pink window net was an inspiration to support others, like his mother Stephanie, who was battling breast cancer at the time; she is now in remission. The note resonated with Busch and set the wheels-in-motion to try and make the pink window net idea a reality.

The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season presented many challenges for the industry and hopes of making the pink window nets a reality, were put on hold. Through hours of commitment and support from NASCAR, The NASCAR Foundation and Thermal Control Products, “Window of Hope”, will finally become a reality this year at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Part of the initiative will feature an online auction through the support of The NASCAR Foundation. Following the ROVAL race, each participating driver will sign their window net which will be auctioned with the proceeds benefiting breast cancer research and treatment. Proceeds from the campaign will be used to offset out-of-pocket expenses associated with providing care for families currently facing a breast cancer diagnosis. NASCAR fans can go to www.NASCARfoundation.org/pinknets to place a bid and support “Window of Hope”.

How to come to a legal settlement after a car crash?

Image by Netto Figueiredo from Pixabay

With every passing year, the number of car accidents is multiplying to an unprecedented level. Whether it is a significant crash or a minor accident, the mere thought of an accident shakes an individual. Hence, you will have to educate yourself on the necessary steps to take following the emergency. Going by recent National Highway safety surveys, around 40% of individuals are careless on the streets. Hence, the inability to adhere to traffic laws is the reason behind the growing numbers.

The first thing that the driver will have to keep in mind is that they must never leave the accident spot even though it is a minor one. Keep in mind that safety is of primary importance, whereas everything else will wait. Make sure that every individual in the car is alright and gets immediate medical assistance if required. Dealing with car accident cases is not an easy task. The judicial proceedings are complex and require professional handling. Hence, you will have to contact car accident attorneys who are the best persons to drive your case.

Ensure that your vehicle and you are out of danger

If your car accident was not a major one, park your car on the roadside so that it does not impede the traffic. Keep the hazard light on and try setting up a reflective emergency triangle. It will alert other individuals who will thereby slow down. In case of a severe crash, please do not interfere with the vehicle and leave it as it is. Even if you get injured, you have to be extra careful regarding the other passengers. Get in touch with the local police station as soon as possible. Try to contact the police and provide them with the accident report.

In most cases, the police do not respond to minor collisions. However, you must contact them and provide them with the necessary information so that you do not get into trouble later on. On the arrival of the police, furnish them with information you can recall. Following this, they might provide you with the accident report copy that you will have to keep for future use.

Collection of information

The second most important area that the driver will have to keep in mind is collecting vital data. These days’ people use their cell phones for capturing pictures and keeping them as evidence. You may do the same for taking photographs of crucial papers, documents, and phone numbers along with the driver’s license. If your collision were because of the other party’s callousness, you would have to get information about the driver. From the name to the address to the license, everything is necessary, especially if you intend on hiring auto accident attorneys near me later down the line.

Vehicle information is also necessary, which encompasses the year, number plate, and car model. When you are the case victim, you have to make every possible effort to claim the insurance policy. Remember that insurance policy agents are not simple individuals to convince. You will thereby require the help of lawyers and attorneys who specialize in negotiation. The attorney having a background in judicial proceedings will provide you with the necessary service. They will give a wholesome coverage of the entire scenario and also undertake negotiation with the insurance company. Hence, the attorney plays an important role here.

Documentation of the scene

Another area where you might require the help of lawyers is the documentation of the scenario. Even if you record different details regarding the accident, you might miss out on vital evidence. From video to pictures to voice recordings, everything is significant. Your lawyer, a specialist in this regard, may record the time and date of the incident, arrange for different videos and photographs of the entire scenario and make a note of property damage. You can contact here Palm Desert Car Accident Lawyer to start your strategies, who will work on a sketch or diagram to analyze the crash scenario. Moreover, lawyers also use a voice memo application on the cell phone for dictating the crash scene. Hence, documentation of the spot is the primary area of the lawyer.

Do not indulge in roadside discussion

Whenever road accidents take place, a large number of individuals crowd around the scene. People engage in different types of discussions regarding who to blame. However, when you are the victim of an emergency, it is advised not to indulge in these unnecessary discussions. Turn your back to these and try to focus on critical areas. Get in touch with the police as early as possible and try grabbing vital information that will help you in your litigation.

Contact the insurance company

You will have to notify the insurance company about the crash to claim at the earliest age. In most cases, the insurance companies have strict terms and conditions that may be difficult to comprehend. Hence, you require a lawyer who understands these technical terms and provides you with the necessary service. Moreover, lawyers have fantastic negotiation skills that will help them in settling your claim. Remember that getting money for dealing with repairs from the insurance company is not an easy task. Only learned individuals will be able to bring things under control.

Take the high-tech path

Most insurance companies offer virtual tools like mobile phone applications for initiating the claim process. In most cases, they might provide you with toll-free phone numbers where you can contact the insurer. These insurance companies ask for different information regarding the accident. You will have to examine your insurance agreement to understand whether they have provisions for this or not. In some cases, you might not recall specific details that will compromise your insurance claim. Hence, you will have to take the help of lawyers and attorneys who go beyond the documentation process and work with the insurer to settle the claim. They remained in contact with the insurance companies and organized the accident-related data for processing the claim. Hence, lawyers are of paramount significance.

Try getting medical help and stay active

You may not spot injuries immediately after an accident and might feel perfectly alright. However, these injuries become prominent after a few days. You will have to get in contact with your doctor and try to go for necessary medical examinations. The damages that result from car crashes come within the coverage of the insurance policy. Hence, you will have to keep the documents arranged to get the financial aid later. When you engage in the litigation process, you must be proactive. Try to remain calm and prepare yourself for the hearings. When working with lawyers who get specially trained in judicial proceedings, your chances of recovering monetary losses increase; these individuals will get the necessary reimbursement for the medical expenses and other related expenditures.

Areas you have to keep in mind while selecting your attorney

First and foremost, you must research the best Car Accident Lawyer Watertown has to offer, or an area more relevant to you. Look at what qualifications they have and read reviews from past customers to ensure that you will receive the highest-quality legal support. Then, you will have to schedule a free consultation session with the lawyer. Most car collision lawyers these days do not charge fees for the first meeting. The first meeting is of paramount significance because you will be able to judge whether the person is right for your case or not. Try to work on a list of questions and grab every possible piece of information you can. Try to communicate what is going on in your mind and what doubts you have regarding the procedure. When you assure yourself of their professionalism, credibility, and trustworthiness, you can choose the right lawyer for you.

Discuss the case thoroughly

You will have to discuss every detail of the case with a lawyer. Do not hide any information, or you will be at a loss. Discuss the fees and payment scenario with them, and be open about your financial condition. Clear all your doubts regarding out-of-pocket expenses and other judicial expenditures. In most cases, the lawyer will provide for a service contract. Try to clear all your concerns regarding the terms and conditions so that you do not face any penalty.

You will need dedicated car accident attorneys to help you through every step of your claim and fight strategically for justice and compensation. If you are injured in Washington, a car accident lawyer everett, has the expertise in navigating the legal intricacies of car accident claims.

The settlement is a time-consuming task

Judicial proceedings take a long time to settle. You cannot expect a quick settlement because the circumstances differ from one case to the other. It can take months or even a few years for the final payment. During this time, you must maintain continuous communication with your lawyer to understand what is happening in the court scenario. These lawyers who are representing your case must be clear about your litigation. Hence, you must keep all your appointments and meet the lawyer whenever necessary. Try to organize your documents and answer their questions promptly. You have to be proactive because it is your lawsuit. These lawyers will represent your case efficiently only when you make an effort.

Remember that getting an efficient and trustworthy attorney is not an easy task. You might have to take the help of online and offline media to get references. Contact at least two to three lawyers and speak to them about your case. Only when you are convinced about their professionalism and credibility. Are you ready to choose your car accident attorney?

Unfold the several answers with one simple question – Why do you need a car accident attorney? Click here if you live in Oceanside, Ca. When you know that the accident was not your fault and suffer more than physical damage, do not wait – seek help immediately.

Who is the offender – driver or insurance company?

When you experience pain and suffering after a car accident, you wonder who the offender is – the driver or the insurance agent who is delaying your claim? Remember that your accident is different from the claim amount. Although the terms claim and case are interchangeably in use, legally, both are very different. The claim is the amount you seek against the damage that incurs after the accident. But the case is the lawsuit you file against someone (insurance company or driver’s insurance company) who is at fault and refuses to pay off the claim.

These are two different terms and require very different treatment by the attorney. You might not require a lawsuit if the compensation settles immediately. However, you may need to file a lawsuit in case of denial or delay from the agency.

How can a car accident lawyer help?

When you meet an accident after recovering from the injuries, the first phone from your end must go to the injury lawyer. Please book an appointment to discuss in detail whatever happened and how he can they help you. Sometimes the insurance companies do not co-operate and deny paying the cover amount or delay it. When you are out of the hospital and still recovering from the trauma and physical pain – the last thing you want is non-cooperation from the insurance company.

Your attorney represents a case in your favor and interest. Most legal teams offer contingent fees that mean you do not pay anything until the case settles. And you only pay if you win. So, it’s no win – no fee clause. The team of lawyers is highly qualified and experienced who has the complete know-how of motor car accidents.

Seeking the support of an accident attorney is an intelligent decision. Here are advantages your lawyer can offer:

Manages the hassles of the insurance company: The primary duty of an insurance agency is to offer monetary support for which you pay the premium at the time of claim. The insurance agents are also businesspeople who are competent in negotiating the settlement amount. They will do anything to reduce the claim from you or even look for reasons for the denial. However, the process is not always so smooth and straightforward.

When you are out from recovery, then arguing with the insurance company is a horrific experience. You must try your best to claim all the amount as it’s your right. In addition to this, some insurance adjusters may put a negative comment in the statement or issue a remark that affects your possibility of getting maximum compensation. When you have an attorney by your side, you feel confident and get assurance of winning the claim.

Your legal representative will negotiate with the insurance agent. They manage all the paperwork for the claim and also intensely prepare for any written statements. They help frame a solid case on behalf of you and obtain a complete claim (that you deserve) after fighting in your best interests.

Collate the liabilities for the damages: The most complex part after an accident is collecting the evidence and collating the drawbacks that prove the other party was negligent. The damage you experience requires sufficient proof like video images, police statements, car condition, reports, witnesses’ testimonials, and medical bills. This information is crucial even to file a lawsuit against the offender.

Only an experienced personal injury lawyer can sift through the evidence and prepare a statement that becomes a crucial document to fight the lawsuit and get your justice. Every state has a difference in rules and regulations of the road, and it is imperative to hire a local lawyer who boasts expertise in the same. Even the federal law differs for all the 50 states.

Here are the factors considering worthwhile:

  • Consult the doctors, nurses, and medical team members who witnessed your injuries and helped in treatment. Gather official statements from everyone to validate the severity of injuries.
  • Assembling the medical records from the healthcare team and also enquiring if your injuries possess any potential damage.
  • Interview all the witnesses and gathering the testimonies.
  • Reconstruct the accident scene to get a simulation of what exactly happened.
  • Prepare the complete report of every detail, even minute ones.

Sometimes, if you are at partial fault in an accident, you might require contributory negligence claims. It is a tricky situation and requires the expertise of an injury lawyer. Your attorney tries their best to fight for the maximum claim amount.

Ascertain the exact value of your damage: Another essential and challenging part of an accident is determining the injuries cost. This means ascertaining the amount for compensation one calculating the value of your damages. Your insurance company shall try its best to lower the settlement amount, and therefore, the legal team works against it.

The injury lawyers shall consider all the expenditures that happened from the time of the accident till your complete recovery. It also includes the loss of employment and future lost income. Your mental stress, pain, and suffering also point of consideration during this valuation.

Negotiating and fighting for justice: Your lawyer helps in paperwork and fights the case. They are responsible for attending all the jury hearings, negotiating the claim with the defendant, handling insurance company problems. The team ensures that you get a fair share of the compensation and do not feel cheated.

Filing personal injury (separate) is necessary: Sometimes an intense pressure from the attorney can get your claim amount from the insurance company. However, sometimes they are tough to crack and very adamant in delaying the processor a complete refusal. In such cases, the injury lawyer files a personal damage case and sorts the issue. The personal injury lawsuit pushes the insurance company to faster the process and provides a maximum coverage amount.

Explain the regulations and process: Hiring a professional is the best choice when you are a layperson and unaware of the law and your rights. The attorney not only explains the entire process but also tells you the alternatives to choose from. What are the possible steps after certain decisions? How much time might you need to get with the justice? How much compensation is best? What are the possible negotiations and relevant action? These are some of the questions that pop into your head. The team supports you throughout with case and works to your advantage.

When to hire a car accident attorney?

Big or small, la are always challenging and bring loads of chaos in life. It is always advisable to seek professional help after a motor vehicle collision. But if you are still indecisive, here is the pointer that might help you make the call.

  • The accident resulted in many significant injuries.
  • The injuries are permanent or long-lasting.
  • The liability goes under dispute.
  • The insurance agency refuses to pay for the damage.
  • You are liable to show medical records and hospital bills.
  • The insurance company is not providing any or shallow cover.

There are some significant reasons to approach a car accident lawyer. You can either check online and free first consultation or ask for help from your injury lawyer.

Can you use online calculators for car crash claims?

Some of you may not consider hiring an attorney (reasons best known to you) and use the online calculator to determine the car wreck claim. But it is not the best choice. Let’s explore why?

The online automobile crash calculator uses the facts of your economic damage. There are sections to add all the medical bills, wage loss, property damage, and other tangible proof. Once all the monetary details are complete, the calculator asks for few more details about non-economic injuries. These are tough to calculate as it brings pain and suffering into consideration. However, there is a mathematical formula to value each category but, it is not very accurate. Some online procedure determines the value by asking you to rate your pain and distress.

The figure that you receive as compensation amount is not very reliable. The expert attorney is a better calculator of all these. The lawyer is a human being and compassionate towards your pain. It becomes easier for them to calculate and evaluate the suffering in monetary value than the machine, which is volume-based.

The Data on Dollar:

  • Drew Dollar will make his seventh career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start behind the wheel of the No. 51 Tundra in Saturday’s 94-lap event at Talladega Superspeedway as part of an eight-race schedule with Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) in 2021. It will be Dollar’s first career start in the Truck Series at Talladega, but he has made two starts at the 2.66-mile tri-oval in the ARCA Menards Series, including a victory in the 2020 event. In just his fifth series start, Dollar was running third with two laps remaining when he narrowly avoided a wreck between the top two competitors and went on to claim the victory. The Georgia native also competed in this year’s ARCA Menards Series event at Talladega, where he finished fourth.
  • Dollar has recorded an average finish of 24.2 across the first six starts of his Camping World Truck Series career. His best result was a 10th-place finish in his series debut at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February.
  • In addition to his part-time schedule with KBM in the Truck Series, Dollar is competing in a limited schedule in the ARCA Menards Series this season with Venturini Motorsports. Despite competing in only 11 of the 18 races, the 20-year-old driver ranks sixth in the championship standings behind the strength of an average finish of 7.7 across his 11 starts this year.
  • The Toyota Racing Development driver finished fourth in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings in 2020 after recording one win, four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes across 20 starts. Dollar led 40 laps en route to his lone series victory at Talladega Superspeedway last June. He also finished inside the top 10 in both of his ARCA Menards Series starts in 2019, including a sixth-place finish in his series debut at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.
  • The No. 51 team has won three times this season, including earlier this season on the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt track with Martin Truex Jr. KBM owner-driver Kyle Busch collected victories at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Ga., and Kansas Speedway in Kansas City. The team qualified for the owner’s portion of the playoffs by finishing the regular season ranked fifth in the point standings but were eliminated in the Round of 10.
  • Mardy Lindley is in his first season as a crew chief at KBM. Before arriving at KBM, Lindley guided his drivers to 32 wins and four ARCA Menards Series East championships since 2013, including back-to-back titles with Sam Mayer the last two seasons. Additionally, he earned the ARCA Menards Series Sioux Chief Showdown championship with Mayer in 2020. Behind the wheel, the second-generation driver won 11 races on the Pro Cup Series from 2000 to 2006 and was crowned the series champion in 2001. This will be Lindley’s first time calling a race at Talladega in any series.

  • SunBelt Rentals, the premiere rental company in North America, will return as the primary sponsor on Dollar’s Tundra for the series finale at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway (Nov. 5).

Drew Dollar, Driver Q&A:

You had a strong run at Daytona earlier this year. What do you think it takes to be a good superspeedway racer in the Truck Series?
“The biggest thing in the Truck Series is to be there at the very end. As long as you are there for the last few laps, you’re going to have a shot at it. I know we are going to have a really fast HYTE Toyota Tundra this weekend and if we can make it all the laps, we are definitely going to have a shot at it.”

Are you excited to be racing at Talladega this weekend?
“Talladega is pretty close to my hometown in Atlanta, it’s only about an hour-and-a-half or two hour drive, so it’s one of the close to home races that I get to have and I’m excited about that. Excited to have HYTE on our Toyota Tundra this weekend. I think it’ll be a good race, it’s the first track that I won an ARCA race at, so that’s another thing that makes it exciting for me. We’re just going to be there at the end and hopefully have a shot to win it.”

Drew Dollar Career Highlights:

  • Has one top-10 finish and an average result of 24.2 across six career Camping World Truck Series starts.
  • Across 33 career ARCA Menards Series starts has one win, 98 laps led, nine top-five and 23 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 8.3.
  • Picked up his first career ARCA Menards Series victory at Talladega Superspeedway June 20, 2020.
  • Finished fourth in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings in 2020 after recording one win, four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes across 20 starts.
  • Recorded two top-five and seven top-10 finishes with 49 laps led across eight NASAR K&N Pro Series East starts in 2019.

Drew Dollar’s No. 51 HYTE Tundra:

KBM-027: The No. 51 HYTE team will unload KBM-27 for Saturday’s race at Talladega. This Tundra has served as a backup at superspeedway tracks that last several years but will be taking to the track as a primary chassis for the first time on Saturday.

KBM Notes of Interest:

  • KBM drivers have collected two wins, two poles, 68 laps led, nine top-five and 17 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 10.6 across 28 starts at Talladega.
  • Raphael Lessard collected the first victory of his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career last year at the 2.66-mile tri-oval. Owner-driver Kyle Busch was victorious in the 2010 event when he finished 0.002 seconds ahead of Aric Almirola in the closest finish in Truck Series history since electronic scoring was instituted.
  • KBM holds the Camping World Truck Series records for most career wins (89) and most wins in a single season (14 in 2014). With his victory at Bristol Motor Speedway Chandler Smith became the 17th different driver to win a Truck Series event for KBM. In addition to collecting a series-record seven Owner’s Championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).

Notes of Interest

● It’s time to tackle the unpredictability of superspeedway racing once again for Cole Custer and the No. 41 Autodesk Fusion 360/HaasTooling.com Ford Mustang team for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) as the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway for Sunday’s YellaWood 500.
● Back with Custer and the No. 41 SHR Ford team for the season’s fifth of six appearances as primary partner is Autodesk Fusion 360, which kicked off its fourth season with the 23-year-old driver and SHR in June on the Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway road course and made its fourth appearance two weekends ago on the high-banked, half-mile concrete oval at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. The Sonoma weekend was a hometown race for San Francisco-based Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK), a leader in software applications for the engineering, manufacturing, construction, architecture, media and entertainment industries.
● Sunday’s 500-mile race at Talladega will be Custer’s milestone 70th Cup Series start and his fourth on the 2.66-mile oval. The reigning Cup Series Rookie of the Year’s 10th-place finish there in April was the best of his first three Cup Series visits and was the first of his two top-10 finishes earned so far this season. He scored his second top-10 three weeks later on the concrete mile oval at Dover (Del.) International Speedway.
● The 23-year-old from Ladera Ranch, California, had promising runs in both of last year’s Cup Series events at Talladega. In the spring race, he was set to restart fifth for the green-white-checkered finish, but his Mustang began to stumble from a lack of fuel, sending him to pit road for a splash-and-go. He finished 22nd. In the fall race, he was able to drive to the front on multiple occasions, but while running fifth just past the race’s halfway point, he was collected in a multicar incident that ended his day.
● Custer has three Talladega appearances in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition in the No. 00 SHR Ford with a best finish of ninth in the 2018 race, and best starts of 12th in the 2018 and 2019 races.
● Custer qualified the No. 00 JR Motorsports entry on the pole for the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Talladega, but saw that bid come to an early end after an accident just past the halfway point.
● After last Sunday’s night’s 29th-place finish on the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway oval, Custer arrives at Talladega 28th in the driver standings.
● Joining Autodesk on the No. 41 Ford Mustang is team co-owner Gene Haas’ newest holding, Haas Tooling, which was launched as a way for CNC machinists to purchase high-quality cutting tools at great prices. Haas cutting tools are sold exclusively online at HaasTooling.com and shipped directly to end users. HaasTooling.com products became available nationally last July, and the cutting tools available for purchase at HaasTooling.com have proven to be even more important during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as CNC machines have become vital to producing personal protective equipment. Haas Automation, founded by Haas in 1983, is America’s leading builder of CNC machine tools. The company manufactures a complete line of vertical and horizontal machining centers, turning centers and rotary tables and indexers. All Haas products are constructed in the company’s 1.1-million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Oxnard, California, and distributed through a worldwide network of Haas Factory Outlets.
● SHR, its partner Wow Wow Classic Waffles, and Feeding America®, the largest hunger relief organization in the United States with a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs, are asking fans to do their part in helping to end hunger in America by texting HUNGER to 50555 to make a $5 donation to Feeding America, by visiting the Feeding America donation page on Facebook, or the donation page via the Feeding America website. Each $1 donated helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local member food banks.

Cole Custer, Driver of the No. 41 Autodesk Fusion 360/HaasTooling.com Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing

You drove to a top-10 finish in your last visit to Talladega in April and you finished just one spot out of the top-10 in the Daytona 500 at Talladega’s sister track in February. Do you feel you can carry that momentum into this weekend?

“Those were solid races that we needed at the time, and I think if a thing or two would’ve gone our way at the end of those races, we would’ve ended up with even better finishes. The superspeedways have been one of our strong suits at SHR this year and I’m confident our HaasTooling.com Ford guys are bringing us a fast Mustang for this race. These are races where you can’t control a whole lot and you have to hope for the best, especially during the playoffs when guys are going all out for stage points and then at the end of the race. You have to race your race the best you can to put yourself in a good position. It can be a pretty stressful race, but I guess all of the races can be stressful if you let them.”

Your first two Cup Series races at Talladega were potentially strong runs during your Rookie of the Year campaign in 2020. Talk about that and how you seemed to get comfortable there from the get-go.

“We had strong runs and we did it without any practice or qualifying, so that was definitely an adventure. Having no practice was definitely a concern because you want as much practice as you can get to just feel things out and see what’s working and what’s not working. But we figured it out pretty quickly in the race, as it turned out. We had fast Ford Mustangs both times there last year. I think we had top-five cars at both races, and we were able to race our way to the front both times. But we ran out of fuel at the end of the June race, and ended up getting caught up in a big wreck a little past halfway in the October race. I’m optimistic we’ll bring a fast HaasTooling.com Mustang again this weekend.”

Notes of Interest

● Chase Briscoe and the No. 14 Ford Mustang team for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) gear up for the final superspeedway race of the season at 2.66-mile Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. In Briscoe’s first NASCAR Cup Series start at Talladega, he led his first lap in Cup Series competition and finished the 188-lap race in the 11th position – his best finish over the first 10 events of the season. He’s now earned nine top-15 finishes since that first trip, the most recent at 14th-place result coming last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
● The No. 14 will carry the colors of Rush Truck Centers and Mobil Delvac 1. Briscoe’s Ford Mustang and all of the SHR cars travel from race to race in haulers from Rush Truck Centers, the premier service solutions provider to the commercial vehicle industry. And those haulers are supported by RushCare, which helps customers find the nearest Rush Truck Centers location, provides service concierge and technical support, schedules mobile service, dispatches roadside assistance and more. Rush Truck Centers is the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in the United States with more than 100 locations, and takes pride in its integrated approach to customer needs – from vehicle sales to aftermarket parts, service and body shop operations, plus financing, insurance, leasing and rental, as well as alternate fuel systems and other vehicle technologies. Mobil Delvac 1 heavy-duty diesel engine oils are designed to help commercial fleets save money and boost uptime through fuel economy savings, extending the life of engines, and lengthening oil drain intervals. In 2020, the SHR haulers moved from three oil changes per season to a single oil change by using Mobil Delvac 1 diesel engine oil.
● Briscoe has made four Xfinity Series starts at Talladega with a best finish of fourth in 2019. He also has one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start there in 2017, when he finished 22nd, and one ARCA Menards Series start in 2016, when he finished third. Briscoe completed all 454 laps available in his six career starts at the superspeedway.
● The 14th-place finish at Las Vegas extended Briscoe’s lead in the NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year standings to 268 points with just six races remaining. He has been the highest-finishing rookie driver in 26 of 30 events. With Rookie of the Year honors in the Truck Series (2017) and Xfinity Series (2019), Briscoe is looking to join Erik Jones and William Byron as only the third driver in history to claim the title in all three of NASCAR’s national touring series.

Chase Briscoe, Driver of the No. 14 Rush Truck Centers/Mobil Delvac 1 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing:

Your first race at Talladega in April was really the first top-15 for the No. 14 team. How are you feeling about heading back there with a little more experience under your belt?

“I’m excited, and I don’t think that’s something you hear a lot when people talk about superspeedways. I love this type of racing and, now that I am more comfortable in the car and with the team and how they work, I think we’ve got a good shot to go finish up front. We’ve made progress at every other track this year and I think we can do the same. But there’s always that unknown factor at these superspeedway races. Anything can happen and it will. You’ve got guys who are trying to make the next round of the playoffs before we get to the Roval and others that are just going for a win knowing these are the kinds of races where you can go from midpack to the front if you can find the right line and drafting group.”
