Phil’s Heating and Air Expands Partnership with Greg Van Alst at Bristol Motor Speedway

BRISTOL, Tenn: NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Greg Van Alst confirmed today the expansion of his relationship with Phil’s Heating and Air, who will serve as the primary partner of Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen entry for this Saturday afternoon’s SciAps 300 at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

Phil’s Heating and Air, who flourishes in the Tri-Cities first partnered with the former ARCA Menards Series winner last fall during Van Alst’s final ARCA Menards Series start to date at the famed 0.533-mile short track.

Through his dedication and tireless efforts — and with the expansion of the partnership from ARCA to the NASCAR Xfinity Series — Van Alst has effectively demonstrated how motorsports collaborations can provide meaningful exposure and measurable value to brands and partners within the racing industry.

“We’re not just here to compete — we’re here to represent our partners with pride and show that even small teams can deliver big results,” said Van Alst.

‘I’m especially proud to expand this partnership at Bristol Motor Speedway — it’s a legendary track, and there’s no better place to take this next step together.”

Phil’s Heating and Air has been in business since 2017, but Phil has been in the HVAC business for over 30 years. They serve Johnson City, Jonesborough, Gray, Kingsport, Bristol, Elizabethton, Erwin, Piney Flats and the entire tri-cities area.

Phil’s Heating and Air loves a good challenge and will always get the job done right the first time. They take pride in the work we do, and we know it changes lives.

When the air conditioner goes out in the summer, or you lose your heat in the dead of winter, it is an emergency! That’s why their dedicated team is committed to speedy and prompt service every single time you call on us.

“It’s always exciting when NASCAR comes to town, but it’s even better to see my little HVAC company get national attention,” offered Phillip Allen, president of Phil’s Heating and Air.

“Greg is great to work with. We are excited about the partnership and looking forward to the attention it brings to Phil’s Heating and Air. We love the idea of bringing customers to the race to showcase Greg and the best-looking race car on the track.”

For Allen, this partnership isn’t just a business move — it’s a personal tribute rooted in family, legacy and a shared passion for excellence.

“I started Phil’s Heating and Air in Tennessee in honor of my dad, who tragically took his own life when I was just a kid back in 1997,” he added.

“Every day, my kids and I show up to work with the same dedication to five-star service that he brought to his own company, Phil’s HVAC in Michigan. We’re proud to support our local community — sponsoring champions on the high school cross country and track teams and backing a Tennessee MMA fighter who currently holds a state title.

“Now, we’re excited to be part of Greg’s journey toward becoming a NASCAR winner. Seeing him drive for Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen in that beautiful No. 35 Phil’s Heating and Air Chevrolet Camaro makes it all even more special.”

Van Alst is set for his second NASCAR Xfinity Series start in Thunder Valley on April 12. Last September, he pulled double duty at Bristol Motor Speedway, competing in both the ARCA Menards Series and the Xfinity Series.

The Anderson, Ind. native made the most of his Xfinity debut, gaining nine spots from his starting position to finish 29th in an entry for SS-GreenLight Racing.

“Bristol is one of my favorite tracks,” said Van Alst. “I finished fifth in an ARCA race there in 2023, and I just love the thrill the track provides. I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the No. 35 Phil’s Heating and Air Chevrolet Camaro and delivering a strong, productive finish.”

Since 2023, Van Alst has had 11 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, earning a career-best 26th-place finish twice, most recently at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February 2025.

Steps to Take After a Tampa Car Accident

Tampa has been named as one of the worst cities in the US when it comes to the number of car accidents. There were 14.47 crashes per 100,000 residents between 2020 and 2022, and it ranks 14 for the highest number of crashes where distracted driving played a role. There are some crucial steps a Tampa car crash lawyer recommends you take immediately to protect yourself if you have been involved in an accident on Tampa’s crowded highways. Following these essential guidelines will help ensure you receive proper medical care, recoup repair costs, and avoid being taken advantage of by insurance companies eager to minimize payouts.

Snap Photos from All Angles of The Car Crash

One of the first things you’ll want to do after a collision on the Veterans Expressway or jam-packed Dale Mabry Highway is thoroughly photographed the scene from multiple angles. 91% of Americans now own a smartphone, so it’s likely you have one to hand to do this. Capture images of vehicle damage, skid marks left on the pavement, dented light poles, and any other relevant details while they’re still fresh. Also, eyewitnesses and passengers should be asked for their personal contact information in case their accounts are needed later.

Ask the Tampa Police for an Official Car Accident Report

Even for a minor collision, you should still request an official accident report from Tampa Police. Wait at the scene for officers to arrive after calling 911 so they can survey the situation and take statements firsthand while it’s still at the top of their minds. A report with an officer’s unbiased collision assessment and accounts from those involved can be invaluable if disputes arise with insurance adjusters later.

Get Checked Out by a Doctor

While you might feel fine immediately after an accident, don’t take chances with your health. Symptoms like whiplash, blurred vision, or back pain can sometimes appear hours or days later. 31% of people involved in a car accident report experiencing back pain up to one year after the incident. Visit the ER or your physician just to be safe, even if you think you emerged unscathed. Documenting your medical condition early will strengthen your case if injuries emerge later.

Notify Your Insurance Carrier ASAP

Contact your insurance provider immediately after an accident in Tampa to get the claims process initiated. Provide your adjuster with all relevant details, photos, police reports, and documentation about damages or injuries. Cooperate fully with requests, but avoid agreeing to any recorded statement or settlement offer until speaking with an attorney. What coverage you have will dictate how costs get covered.

Consult a Tampa Car Accident Lawyer About Your Rights

An experienced car accident attorney can help advise you if an insurer is delaying payment or trying to shortchange you. They will deal directly with aggressive adjusters for you while you focus on recovery. An attorney knows how to accurately calculate the true value of accident claims and will fight tooth and nail to get you properly compensated.

Keep Meticulous Records of The Car Accident

Be sure to save all paperwork, photographs, medical invoices, collision reports, and other documentation connected to the car accident. These will serve as vital evidence if you need to pursue legal action or counter lowball offers from insurers. Also, keep a daily journal of how the accident has impacted your finances, routine, emotional state, and physical capabilities.

Getting back on your feet after a car collision in Tampa can be mentally draining. Following these key steps will allow you to protect yourself and receive fair compensation. Consulting with a car accident attorney ensures you have an experienced professional fighting for your best interests.

3 Harley Davidson Upgrades You Won’t Regret

As one of the oldest bike brands, Harley Davidson has attained an iconic status and cult following. The Motor Company has churned out hundreds of fan favourites throughout its century-long history, with cruisers and touring bikes making the majority of sales. It has also put innovation at the forefront of bike design.

Simple yet practical additions like the “jiffy” stand (patented in the 1930s) are still in use today. That’s a testament to how good the initial design was, with the stand taken up by rivalling bike brands or copied by aftermarket parts makers. Buyers can now get third-party Harley Davidson kickstands that offer much of the same practicality (balancing a 1000-pound parked bike on uneven ground) with kickstands in different sizes, materials and designs, and for different bikes and riders.

Get Your Harley Standing in a Jiffy

Get Your Harley Standing in a Jiffy

Jiffy stands have endured the test of time because of the brilliance of their design. The term essentially refers to a “side” or “kick” stand (terms picked up later on) that balances the bike in no time (or in a jiffy) with a simple kick. Mounted on the left side of the Harley, the stand deploys when nudged, and locks into place using the weight of the bike. Think of it as a tripod, with the tyres making the two other balancing points. Once in a locked position, the jiffy stand ensures the bike will only move when weight is moved off the stand. A simple nudge forward disengages the spring holding the stand in a locked position, and off you go.

This means Harleys with a stock jiffy, will remain standing on inclines or descents, and not tip over. Something seasoned Harley riders don’t think much about, but can catch new riders or those moving to Hogs from other bike brands off guard. The Motor Company has refined and revised Harley jiffy stands to include adventure stands for the Pan-America with a larger footprint for added stability on loose ground, and jiffy extensions if you change the ride height, for instance with lowering springs or new forks.

What are the Alternatives?

Jiffy stands were meant for short stops and were popular in police edition bikes. But there have also been a few complaints. With Harleys getting bigger and heavier, the stand does show its limitations. Fully loaded bikes can sway or tip over when parked on soft ground or uneven tarmac. Some riders will also find it too short, or that the contact point requires a bigger footprint for added stability. Simple and inexpensive fixes like extenders, jiffy coasters or lift brackets are easy to get on and effective. There are also replacements for worn-out bushings or springs that restore functionality, again in a jiffy.

While there are stock workarounds, many riders will opt for aftermarket Harley kickstands. These deal with most issues surrounding stability, and questionable build quality in Harley’s newer bikes and complement the look of your Hog, especially when matching them with other aftermarket mods and upgrades. There are dozens of dedicated brands to change anything you don’t like on your bike.

If you find the standard jiffy stand a bit too flimsy, taxing to work, unstable on gravel or soft ground, and not a looker, then absolutely go the aftermarket route. When buying consider overall lengths, materials, build, and how the kickstand fits the bike. Standard lengths are 11″ providing the same lean and 45-degree stand angles (relative to the ground) as the standard jiffy, but with increased footprints for improved stability. Lowered kickstands start at 10″, while bikes with a raised ride height for taller riders can be better off with 12″ variants.

Materials range from high-grade stainless steel in black matte, powder-coated or glossy chrome finishes to eye-catching forged or billet polished brass. Consider design features like additional foot pads for bigger and heavier bikes, and longer and more accessible kick tabs to engage springs and pull the stand in position faster and easier.

Also, choose lean angles that suit the weight of the bike. Variants with less lean will get the bike level easier using less effort. Lastly, consider mounting hardware and installation. Most aftermarket stands are direct jiffy stand replacements and fit the frame with the supplied hardware. Others may require welding.

The Advantages of Aftermarket Seats

For improved riding comfort, one of the first upgrades is aftermarket seats. Let’s be honest, the different factory options (from the Sundowner, Signature, Hammock or Road Zeppelin series) are absolutely fine in bikes rolling off dealer floors, but the build, materials and padding start to show their worth after a few thousand miles. Sagging, torn and ungainly seats are not only uncomfortable over longer stretches, but they also up fatigue and numbing, increase distractions and can soon be a safety hazard.

Just like Harley Davidson kickstands, aftermarket seats offer more convenience, the choice of different styles and materials, and an easy way to get more out of your bike. And they’re built to a much higher standard while still undercutting stock options for price. Consider the improved rigidity of stainless steel in parts like pans that hold the seat together, the higher-density or gel foam padding for improved thigh and lumbar support, and weather, impact and tear-proof seat covers in materials like high-grade vinyl or leather to withstand rider weight, constant friction, and direct exposure to sunlight or rain.

Additionally, change the stock seat to suit your riding habits with different sizes. Choose larger, and better-padded extended solo seats if you ride alone and want more space, 2-up seats with included back and rear armrests for all-round comfort or springer seats in custom rebuilds and for improved vibration isolation. And from the huge assortment of seat accessories, ranging from heating, backrest pads, height adjustability and locking options.

Improved Grip with New Tyres

Improved Grip with New Tyres

The factory touring or cruiser tyres that came with a new Harley will eventually need to be replaced if you value performance and safety. Bike tyres last anywhere between 3,000 and 10,000 miles, depending on your riding style, tread and tyre types, road conditions, and how much maintenance you put into them. Regularly check rubber for wear, tread depth, road debris and cuts and cracks in the sidewalls. Also, look for wear near the rims, and observe the correct pressure for the weather and road conditions.

There are crucial design and performance differences for tyres suited to different Hogs. Touring bikes wear tyres optimised for longer mileage and traction. They have flatter profiles that aid straight-line stability, while also being made of multi-ply and harder compounds that work in most types of weather.

Cruiser tyres differ somewhat with rounder edge profiles and stiffer sidewalls for better cornering ability, but still consist of harder compounds that provide the need traction on wet roads. Both need to support much more weight than flimsy, slick tyres usually found in featherweight sports bikes.

Match tyres to rim sizes and widths, choose tread patterns for the areas and weather you usually ride in, and ensure you’re buying rubber recently made, but no older than six years. Store new or unused tyres in dry, enclosed areas, preferably at room temperature and away from moisture.

Roadside Realities: What to Do When You’re Stranded

Your car breaks down on a remote road. Maybe it’s a flat tire, a dead battery, or something more serious. Whatever the issue, you’re stuck, vulnerable, and unsure of what to do next.

It happens to more people than you’d think, and it never feels convenient. But knowing exactly how to respond can make a huge difference. It’s not just about getting back on the road; it’s about staying safe, making smart decisions, and handling the situation without added stress.

Get to Safety First

Before anything else, think safety. If your car is still moving, steer it to the side of the road. Ideally, get as far onto the shoulder as possible, especially if you’re on a highway. Turn your hazard lights on immediately so other drivers know something’s wrong. If it’s dark or visibility is poor, those blinking lights are essential to avoid a potential accident.

If you’re in a dangerous spot—like a curve or narrow lane—stay inside the vehicle with your seatbelt on unless it’s absolutely unsafe to do so. Exiting a car near fast-moving traffic can be more dangerous than staying inside.

Call a Reliable Towing Service

Once you’re safe, it’s time to figure out how you’re getting out of there. Calling one of the most reliable towing services in Cedar Bluff, TN, should be one of your first moves. They can either tow your car to a nearby mechanic or help with simple fixes like a flat tire or jump-start.

It’s important to choose a service that’s known for being responsive and trustworthy. If you’re unsure who to call, check your vehicle insurance or roadside assistance plan. Some credit cards and car warranties also include towing coverage—check the fine print before you find yourself in a tough spot.

Be ready to provide your exact location. If you don’t know where you are, use your phone’s map app to pinpoint the location or give them nearby landmarks or highway mile markers.

Stay Calm and Avoid Accepting Help from Strangers

It might seem kind when someone pulls over to help, but be cautious. Most people mean well, but not all. Politely decline help and let them know you’ve already called for assistance. If you feel uneasy or the situation doesn’t feel right, lock your doors and wait it out. It’s okay to trust your gut.

If you do speak to someone from your car window, keep the conversation brief and your belongings out of sight. Don’t hand over your phone or get out of the vehicle unless you feel completely secure in doing so.

Make Yourself Visible

If you’re stuck at night or in bad weather, visibility becomes a big deal. Use your hazard lights, as mentioned earlier, but also consider using road flares or reflective triangles if you have them. These should be placed a good distance behind your vehicle to alert oncoming drivers.

Even during the day, these tools can make a big difference, especially if your vehicle is around a bend or just over a hill where others might not see it right away.

Keep Doors Locked and Stay Alert

When your car breaks down and you’re waiting, it’s easy to let your guard down. But this is a moment to stay aware of your surroundings.

Keep your doors locked while you’re inside. Avoid distractions like scrolling endlessly on your phone. Check your mirrors now and then and keep an eye out for approaching vehicles or people.

If you’re waiting a while, it’s fine to run the engine to stay warm or cool, but crack a window slightly and don’t leave it running for too long in an enclosed area. Carbon monoxide is a silent danger if your exhaust pipe is blocked, especially in snow.

Let Someone Know Where You Are

Even if you’ve already called for a tow, it’s a smart move to text or call a friend or family member. Let them know you’re stranded, where you are, and who you’ve contacted for help.

That extra layer of awareness ensures someone else knows your whereabouts in case anything changes or you lose service. It also helps if they need to reach out for help on your behalf.

Take Photos if There’s Damage

If your car broke down because of an accident or roadside issue, like hitting debris, take photos. Capture the damage, your location, and anything else that could be relevant later for insurance purposes.

Don’t forget to photograph your surroundings too. If something nearby contributed to the situation (like a massive pothole or fallen branch), documenting it can help support your case later.

When It’s Time to Leave the Scene

Once help arrives, give them the information they need, ask where your vehicle will be towed, and grab anything important before the car goes. That includes your license, insurance, registration, phone, charger, wallet, and any valuables.

If you’re not riding with the tow truck, make sure you have transportation arranged or a place nearby where someone can pick you up.

You’re Not Powerless, Even When Your Car Is

Being stranded feels overwhelming. You’re stuck, your plans are on hold, and everything seems uncertain. But that doesn’t mean you’re powerless.

By staying calm, making the right calls, and keeping safety front and center, you take back control. It’s never a fun situation, but it doesn’t have to spiral into something worse. Preparation and clear thinking go a long way.

If you drive, this kind of thing is always a possibility. So consider bookmarking this guide, sharing it with someone else, or even just mentally reviewing what you’d do next time. Because the better prepared you are, the easier it is to handle the unexpected.

How do the Innovative Features of Online Casinos Make the Games Easier?

The past ten years have seen an incredible rise in the online casino business. As digital gambling gains popularity and technology advances, online casinos mega888 are becoming more sophisticated, immersive, and captivating than ever. Consequently, they have established themselves as a mainstay in the entertainment industry, drawing millions of players worldwide.

You’ve come to the correct place if you want to know what makes an online casino genuinely effective. The main elements making online casinos successful will be discussed in this blog post.

Intuitive User Interfaces and Game Design

One of the foremost innovations in online casinos is the implementation of intuitive user interfaces (UI). Modern casino systems make considerable investments in UI/UX design to guarantee that customers can easily navigate the games and lower the learning curve. Clear graphics, organized layouts, and responsive controls help players understand the mechanics of a game within minutes. Features such as drag-and-drop betting, auto-play options, and customizable settings allow users to control the pace and complexity of their gaming experience. These design improvements enhance gameplay and reduce the intimidation factor that many new players face when approaching complex casino games.

In-Game Tutorials and Demo Modes

Another game-changing feature is the availability of in-game tutorials and demo modes. New players can now try out slot machines, card games, and other offerings without the risk of losing money. These demo modes replicate real-game environments, enabling players to understand the rules, strategies, and outcomes before transitioning to real-money play. Additionally, many platforms offer interactive tutorials that guide users step-by-step through gameplay, from placing bets to understanding winning combinations. These features democratize the casino experience, empowering users with the confidence to participate and enjoy without the fear of costly mistakes.

Easy Withdrawals

An element of vital significance. Your consumers are more likely to remain loyal if they can withdraw their profits with less paperwork and time. Any player would prefer to play at a casino that allows him to take his profits in 10 to 20 minutes as opposed to one that requires several extra papers without providing any justification or that keeps delaying payouts for days.

Conventional withdrawal processes, such as Know-Your-Customer checks on personal papers, should not be disregarded since we do not want to create the risk of fraud. For this reason, your compliance and customer service departments should be as quick and responsive as possible.

Smart Automation and AI Assistance

Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly influential role in online gambling. Many modern platforms now include AI-driven features that assist players in decision-making. For instance, in games like blackjack or poker, the system can offer suggestions based on optimal strategy models. The smart automation tools also help streamline gameplay; features like auto-bet, quick spin, and game history tracking allow users to personalize their experience according to their preferences and habits. Such intelligent systems reduce the cognitive load on the player and make complex games more approachable, especially for those new to gambling.

Mobile Optimization and App Integration

Mobile gaming is another crucial innovation that contributes to ease of play. Most reputable online casinos mega888 now offer mobile-optimized websites or dedicated apps, ensuring players can access games anytime, anywhere. The mobile experience is designed to be intuitive, with simplified controls and touch-based interactions that make gameplay effortless. Seamless synchronization between desktop and mobile platforms also ensures continuity, allowing players to switch devices without losing progress or data. These innovations make gambling more convenient and accessible, especially for players who prefer quick gaming sessions on the go.

Gamification and Interactive Features

Gamification has revolutionized the online casino landscape by turning gambling into a more engaging and rewarding experience. By integrating elements such as achievements, levels, leaderboards, and virtual rewards, casinos encourage users to learn and progress through games at their own pace. This structure appeals to a broader audience, including casual gamers who may not have previously considered casino games. These interactive elements guide users through the platform in a way that feels more like entertainment and less like high-stakes gambling, easing the entry point for new players.

The hidden tech behind high-performance racing

Porsche KM block

In the high-stakes world of motorsport, precision is everything. Every millisecond matters, every system must be optimized, and every component is under constant scrutiny. While spectators focus on the roar of the engines and the thrill of the track, there’s a complex layer of engineering and data analysis that makes those winning moments possible. One of the lesser-known yet essential tools in the racing industry? The mileage blocker.

Why mileage matters in racing?

Race teams operate under intense pressure to maintain peak performance. That means extensive testing, tuning, and pushing vehicles to their limits before they ever hit the competitive circuit. During these rigorous development phases, one key metric that’s closely monitored—but often temporarily paused—is mileage.

Why pause mileage tracking? The mileage blocker becomes a vital tool because teams need to simulate laps and conditions without inflating the odometer data that might interfere with system calibration or affect vehicle value and maintenance cycles.

Used by elite performance brands like Porsche

Mileage blockers are not gimmicks—they’re sophisticated electronic modules designed for professional use. Brands at the top of the motorsport pyramid, like Porsche, utilize this technology during vehicle testing. Porsche’s dominance in racing—whether it’s in endurance events like Le Mans or in track-focused GT competitions—is no accident. Their engineers rely on precise testing environments, and tools like the Porsche mileage blocker help maintain control over vehicle diagnostics without skewing critical data.

The device functions by preventing the ECU from recording mileage during non-official testing, ensuring that every kilometer counted reflects competitive or regulated use. For race teams, this helps preserve the car’s lifecycle data, and for engineers, it provides more accurate feedback during performance trials.

Professional tools for a professional arena

KMBlock.com is one of the leading providers of mileage blockers for high-performance brands. These devices are built for precision, discretion, and safety, ensuring they can be used reliably in professional environments. From Porsche to BMW M, from Audi RS to Mercedes-AMG—racing teams and workshops alike turn to KMBlock.com for advanced mileage solutions.

Of course, mileage blockers are designed strictly for off-road, development, or motorsport use. Responsible use is key. These tools are meant to enhance testing accuracy, not to deceive.

Racing with mileage blockers

Racing is science at speed

Behind every lap record and checkered flag is an army of engineers, mechanics, and analysts. Modern racing is as much about data as it is about speed, and tools like mileage blockers are part of the technological arsenal that gives elite teams their edge.

So next time you see a Porsche 911 RSR tearing down the straightaway, remember: what you’re witnessing is the result of thousands of hours of fine-tuned engineering—and tools like mileage blockers play a hidden, but essential, role in that story.

SciAps 300 is a Spring Homecoming for NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol Motor Speedway

Brandon Jones is riding some momentum into Bristol in his No. 20 Gibbs machine following a victory in Darlington last weekend.

Lots of storylines to keep track of as strong field of regulars will battle some talented intruders for victory

BRISTOL, Tenn. (April 9, 2025) – This weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway will be a spring homecoming of sorts for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, which hasn’t competed in Bristol’s spring weekend since April 2019 when Christopher Bell took the victory. The 2020 spring race was rescheduled from spring to summer due to the pandemic and Noah Gragson escaped with the victory in early June.

Since 2021, the Craftsman Trucks have been the lone opening act for the Cup Series at Bristol in the spring. This year’s Food City 500 weekend is making history as it is the first ever spring Bristol weekend that features all three of NASCAR’s major series competing together in the same weekend.

This will be the ninth start in a row for the Xfinity Series teams this season and so far the Richard Childress Racing stable of Austin Hill and Jesse Love have been fast on the track and claimed most of the headlines and have three victories – two for Hill and the Daytona opener for Love.

The defending series champ, Justin Allgaier, has also been out front for many laps this season and his two victories has him atop the points standings heading to Saturday afternoon’s SciAps 300 at Bristol. The race will be televised on The CW at 5 p.m. ET.

Another series regular with a bit of momentum heading in this weekend is Brandon Jones, who broke a 98-race winless drought this past weekend at Darlington. Jones took the win in his No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing machine and said after the race that he had been feeling like the team was ready to turn the corner after several recent close finishes. He is looking forward to going for two in a row at Bristol.

“It’s because everyone believes in me,” Jones said after the Darlington win. “It’s infectious. I can feel it. I show up to the track, and I have no doubt that my crew chief is sitting on that pit box thinking I’m the best driver in the field. My pit crew thinks I’m the best driver in the field. My coaches think I’m the best driver in the field. All of that is just fueling the fire to go forward…Everybody is lifting each other up and pumping each other up.”

The field will be bolstered by the addition of Cup Series superstar Kyle Larson, who is attempting to run all three races at Bristol this weekend and will drive the Hendrick Motorsports No. 17 Chevy this weekend in the SciAps 300. Larson just missed completing a triple at Homestead two weeks ago and feels like Bristol is a good track for him to try and accomplish the extremely tough task.

Only Kyle Busch has turned the hat trick in NASCAR history by winning three races in a single weekend, and Busch did it twice at Bristol, in 2010 and 2017.

“The cars and truck drives so different, and then the style of the race is different between all three of them that it doesn’t give you an advantage,” Larson said. “But it doesn’t hurt either. We’d would love to win at least one of them (this) week. We’ll give it our best shot and just try to execute all race long.”

Truck Series phenom Corey Heim is making his first Bristol attempt in the Xfinity Series. It will be his 20th race in the series. Heim is a past Truck winner at Bristol and will be driving the No. 24 machine for Sam Hunt Racing. Another driver who has had success at Bristol in Modified racing will also be making his fourth Xfinity start and first ever at Bristol, Justin Bonsignore, who will be driving the No. 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing.

In addition to the storylines just mentioned, there are a ton of Xfinity Series regulars who could win at Bristol, including JR Motorsports drivers Connor Zillisch, Carson Kvapil and Sammy Smith, Sam Mayer and Sheldon Creed from the new Haas Factory Team, Harrison Burton, Taylor Gray, Matt DiBenedetto, William Sawalich and Ryan Sieg, who will be piloting the flagship SciAps Ford.

Not to be overshadowed in all of the drama that the SciAps 300 will offer to race fans is the four eligible drivers’ pursuit of the $100,000 Xfinity Dash for Cash bonus. Allgaier, Hill, Creed and Brennan Poole were the top four finishers at the last Dash for Cash race in Martinsville. Those four will go for the bonus at Bristol and the one with the best finish will take home the cash. So far Allgaier and Hill have claimed the Xfinity Dash for Cash bonuses.

The highly-anticipated weekend opens with the WEATHER GUARD Truck Race, a 250-lap race in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series under the lights on Friday, April 11 (7:30 p.m., FS1 and PRN Radio), and continues Saturday afternoon on April 12 with the SciAps 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race (5 p.m., The CW, PRN Radio). Bush’s Beans Practice and Bush’s Beans Qualifying will be held for all three series both Friday and Saturday. The weekend culminates Sunday afternoon with the running of the historic Food City 500 NASCAR Cup Series race (April 13, 3 p.m., FS1 and PRN Radio).

In addition to cheering on their favorite drivers on the track, Bristol Motor Speedway fans will definitely want to take advantage of so many activities to make a complete weekend of family fun. There will be great video entertainment provided by Colossus TV, the world’s largest center-hung video screen, premium VIP experiences, tailgating, on-site camping, concerts and other entertainment at the Food City Fan Zone Stage headlined by Trackside Live with Kenny Wallace and John Roberts, great food and beverages in the concession stands throughout the property, and so much more.

Single-day tickets for the Food City 500 weekend start as low as $69 for Sunday’s Food City 500 and $46 for Saturday’s SciAps 300 Xfinity Series race. To purchase tickets, please visit www.bristolmotorspeedway.com or call the BMS ticket sales center at (866) 415-4158.

DANIEL WILKERSON AIMS FOR FIRST FUNNY CAR WIN AT THIS WEEKEND’S NHRA 4-WIDE NATIONALS IN LAS VEGAS

LAS VEGAS (April 9, 2025) – After a runner-up finish in Pomona, Funny Car driver Daniel Wilkerson has his sights set on this weekend’s 25th annual NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with hopes of securing his first career NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series victory.

Wilkerson and his 12,000-horsepower SCAG Racing Ford Mustang team will join the other stars of the NHRA as they put their Funny Cars to the test at Las Vegas in the first four-wide race of the season. With 48,000 horsepower on the track at once, providing one of the wildest spectacles in motorsports and the coveted NHRA Wally trophy on the line, anything can happen and Wilkerson is eager to try and take advantage.

“I’m still beaming with excitement from Sunday at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Drag Strip,” Wilkerson said. “I’m so proud of my team for rebounding from a tough qualifying effort on Friday and Saturday and then to make it to the finals on Sunday. With any luck, we can carry that momentum into the four-wide race at Vegas.”

Last season, Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel), Bob Tasca III (Funny Car) and Jeg Coughlin Jr. (Pro Stock) claimed four-wide victories at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This season’s event will again be broadcasted on FS1, including eliminations coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 13. It is the fourth of 20 races during the 2025 campaign and the first of two straight four-wide races.

After a solid rookie season, Wilkerson has big things in mind for his second full season as a Funny Car driver. When his father and Funny Car veteran, Tim, stepped out of the seat, Wilkerson took over driving duties and has flourished, advancing to a final round last year – at the four-wide race in Charlotte – and showing signs of being a championship contender in 2025.

“Traditionally, Tim was very good at these four-wide events,” Wilkerson said. “We were in our first final at a four-wide event last year and now that there are three (four-wide races), with one in the Countdown. I’m excited for the extra practice as a driver. Even from a fan’s point of view, which I am and always will be, the four-wide is an awesome spectacle. Sitting in the race car in the water box you can feel the power of an extra two cars.”

With his runner-up finish from Pomona, Wilkerson will be competing in this weekend’s Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, where he’ll race for bonus cash and bonus championship points. With the four-wide format, Wilkerson will be up against of three racers, including Phoenix race winner Paul Lee, former champion Cruz Pedregon and Funny Car newcomer Spencer Hyde. Jack Beckman, the Pomona winner and current points leader, will take on Gainesville winner Chad Green, former champion Matt Hagan and Blake Alexander.

Shawn Langdon currently leads the Top Fuel points, with a win in Phoenix and two Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge victories to his credit this season. Reigning champion Antron Brown nabbed the win over Langdon in Gainesville while fan-favorite Clay Millican picked up the Pomona win over 2024 Rookie of the Year winner and racing legend Tony Stewart. Others to watch this weekend will be former champions Doug Kalitta and Brittany Force, who won the spring and fall races at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last season, respectively.

Five-time Pro Stock champ Jeg Coughlin Jr. returned to full-time racing in 2024, picking up his first Vegas 4-Wide Nationals victory and his first Vegas win in 15 years. But KB Titan Racing has dominated early in 2025, with Greg Anderson winning the past two races and Dallas Glenn winning the opener in Gainesville.

The NHRA 4-Wide Nationals also will feature thrilling competition in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, featuring some of the top racers in the country. Fans will also be invited all weekend long to the Nitro Alley Stage, which will help create a festive atmosphere leading with Nitro School, meet and greets and much more.

Race fans at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway can enjoy the special pre-race ceremonies that introduce and celebrate each of the drivers racing for the prestigious Wally on Sunday and includes the fan favorite SealMaster Track Walk. The final can’t-miss experience of any NHRA event is the winner’s circle celebration on Sunday after racing concludes, where fans are invited to congratulate the event winners.

As always, fans also get an exclusive pit pass to the most powerful and sensory-filled motorsports attraction on the planet in Las Vegas. This opportunity gives fans a unique chance to see teams in action and service their hot rods between rounds, get autographs from their favorite NHRA drivers, and more.

In Las Vegas, NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series qualifying will feature two rounds at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. PT on Friday, April 11, and the final two rounds of qualifying on Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Eliminations will begin at 12 p.m. PT on Sunday, April 13. Television coverage includes qualifying action at 9:30 p.m. ET on Friday and 11 a.m. ET on Sunday, leading into eliminations coverage at 6:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

David Malukas, No. 4 AJ Foyt Racing Chevrolet:

“Really excited to get back on track at Long Beach! Had some time off to look through the data after Thermal and a test at Indy GP and we made some good progress towards finding a setup I like. Can’t wait to see the gains we found with the car at a track where the fan show up is unreal.”

Santino Ferrucci, No. 14 AJ Foyt Racing Chevrolet:

“Very excited to get back on the streets of Long Beach. Feeling very good about our race car and the direction our team is heading. Definitely have our sights set on that first win as I know Long Beach was the team‘s last win over a decade ago. Hopefully, we can channel some of that success for this upcoming event.”

Pato O’Ward, No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet:

“Long Beach is a unique place for us because it has so much cool history, but it hasn’t been kind to us the last couple years. I think we’ve worked hard to address some of those issues from the past, so hopefully we can roll off strong next week and keep the momentum we got from Thermal.”

Nolan Siegel, No. 6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet:

“I’m really excited to go racing with the No.6 in its onsemi Arrow McLaren Chevrolet livery for the first time this year. I think it looks fantastic, which is fitting for one of the biggest races on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES calendar. It’s always nice coming back to California, it still feels like a bit of a home race and it’s one of my favorite events of the year. I’m ready to go fight at the front and get some solid points.”

Christian Lundgaard, No. 7 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet:

“It’s been a really strong start for us this year, but we know there’s still more room for us to get better. I’m looking forward to taking that next step forward this weekend at one of the more special races on our calendar. It feels even bigger with it being the 50th anniversary of the Grand Prix of Long Beach, along with the strong partner presence Arrow McLaren has here. I’m excited for another weekend racing with this team.”

Alexander Rossi, No. 20 Ed Carpenter Racing Chevrolet:

“Long Beach is one of the events I look forward to the most each year. It is an awesome track to drive with an amazing atmosphere and some of the most knowledgeable fans on the calendar. To top it off, it is a pseudo-home race for me so I always love being able to put on a show for friends and family.”

Christian Rasmussen, No. 21 Ed Carpenter Racing Chevrolet:

“I’m excited to be heading back to Long Beach for the second time. It’s an incredible event with so much history. We showed good speed there last year, but unfortunately didn’t make it through the race. This time, I’m coming back for redemption and looking to put together a strong weekend.”
