Richmond International Raceway Names Deborah Clemons Director of Consumer Marketing

Richmond International Raceway President Doug Fritz announced today the promotion of Deborah Clemons to Director of Consumer Marketing for America’s Premier Short Track.

Clemons joined Richmond International Raceway in 2001 as a Sales Coordinator and was promoted to Advertising & Promotions Manager in 2003. In her new role, she will oversee all aspects of the Ticket Office, with a primary focus on ticket sales and developing consumer marketing programs for our fans.

“I am excited to announce Deborah’s promotion,” said track president Doug Fritz. “Deborah has been with Richmond International Raceway for more than 10 years now and is a valued member of our team. It is only fitting that she be recognized for her efforts in helping make Richmond International Raceway America’s Premier Short Track.”

In her previous roles at Richmond International Raceway, Clemons oversaw all aspects of the advertising and promotions for America’s Premier Short Track, as well as worked directly with corporate sponsors to ensure successful activation of their programs.

In addition to her extensive work at Richmond International Raceway, Clemons is also a volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in the Richmond area, as well as a member of the Richmond Volleyball Club.

A native of Dryden, New York, Clemons earned a Bachelor of Science, Magna cum Laude, in Speech Communication from Syracuse University.
