Greg Biffle Talladega Notes and Quotes

Biffle on Talladega: “Talladega should be exciting this weekend. The Fords were the class of the field there in the spring and I expect the same thing this weekend. You’ll obviously need a good drafting partner to run well on Sunday. If we can find a good partner and stay out of the wrecks, I think we should have a good race. We’ve had really fast cars lately but we just have to stay in it and get the finishes to show for it.”

Puccia on Talladega: “The superspeedway races are obviously unique races in that even if you have the best driver, the best pit crew and the fastest racecar, you can very easily get caught up in someone else’s accident and take the car home in pieces. Talladega is wider than Daytona which should allow for more three-wide racing and hopefully less wrecks. We do anticipate the same two-by-two racing that we’ve seen at all of the superspeedway races this year and we have a plan in place for that. You can’t always anticipate what will happen during the course of the race and certainly not a Talladega so if we lose our partner, we’ll have to hope someone else is there to pair up with and stay in it.”

Talladega Notes

Biffle’s average finish at Charlotte is 20.9 from an average starting position of 17.5.

Last time at Talladega Biffle partnered with teammate Carl Edwards for a solid top-10 finish.
