Fans Have Chance to Win Ford NASCAR Drivers’ 2013 Fusion in new ‘Win My Fusion’ Sweepstakes

Fans Have Chance to Win Ford NASCAR Drivers’ 2013 Fusion in new ‘Win My Fusion’ Sweepstakes

·        Fans can win one of nine 2013 Ford Fusions, each one specially-selected by one of nine Ford Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers.

·        Each driver’s 2013 Fusion, equipped with an EcoBoost engine or a hybrid powertrain, will feature a unique configuration based on the individual drivers’ personality, likes and interests.

·        A total of 15 winners will be randomly selected throughout this season for a VIP trip to Ford Championship Weekend and one will get the chance to choose a 2013 Fusion of their choice.

DEARBORN, MI – Feb. 24, 2012 – Racing fans will get a chance to literally win the car right out of Carl Edwards’ or Matt Kenseth’s driveway.  Or maybe they prefer one built specifically for Greg Biffle or Trevor Bayne.

Either way, beginning with this weekend’s Daytona 500, fans across the country will have a chance to take home their favorite Ford Racing driver’s 2013 Ford Fusion production car via the ‘Win My Fusion’ national sweepstakes.

Starting with Sunday’s Great American Race, and concluding with the Phoenix 500 on November 11, a total of 15 winners and their guests will be randomly selected for a VIP trip to Ford Championship Weekend in Homestead, Fla.

The first random winner will be selected next week, and 14 more will be selected throughout the 2012 season.

In Homestead, all 15 winners will be placed in a drawing to randomly win a 2013 Ford Fusion.  But this won’t be just any Fusion. The lucky grand prize winner will choose one of nine different Fusion configurations, specifically chosen to fit the personality, likes and interests of each of nine Ford Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers.

“Talk about the power of choice,” said Jamie Allison, director, Ford Racing.  “The 2013 Fusion offers customers the power of choice among powertrains, but also an exciting selection of must-have technologies that deliver the kind of experience our customers want.

“The nine 2013 Fusions chosen by our drivers all reflect their interests, their taste, and what they want from a great car.   Fans will have fun learning about them this year, and someone at Homestead is going to have a tough time choosing which great version of Fusion they get to take home.”

Fans can enter to win via the sweepstakes starting today via the “Win My Fusion” website at www.WinMyFusion.com.

Starting in March, there will be a series of nine webisodes featured on the site that detail each Ford NASCAR Sprint Cup driver’s selection for their specially-chosen 2013 Fusion.

Drivers featured in the webisodes include Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle; Richard Petty Motorsports’ Marcos Ambrose and Aric Almirola; Wood Brothers Racing’s Trevor Bayne; Front Row Motorsport’s David Ragan and David Gilliland; and Germain Racing’s Casey Mears.
