MARCOS AMBROSE, No. 9 Black & Decker Ford Fusion (Qualified 18th) – “I’ve got a brand new race suit on with Black and Decker and the first time they have been in the sport with their new tool called the Gyro. It is a nifty screwdriver. I am pretty excited about that plus it is orange and black which is good for Halloween with pumpkins and all. That was a good lap but not good enough. It was better than it was in practice which is a good step for us. We have been through a tough month and we are looking forward to putting it behind us and getting some good results.”

TREVOR BAYNE, No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion (Qualified 32nd) – “It was too loose. I couldn’t hustle it. In practice we were kind of back and forth. We had one good run with a 48 and other than that we ran 70s and we kind of went back to it right there. I knew I could have gotten a little more out of it but the car was just so free I couldn’t hustle it like I wanted to.”

MATT KENSETH, No. 17 Zest Ford Fusion (Qualified 12th) – “We just missed it by a ton there. We mocked up real good but we were really tight in qualifying for some reason. I think we will be okay in race trim though so we will go back at it tomorrow and the guys will work on it for Sunday.”

CARL EDWARDS, No. 99 Fastenal Ford Fusion (Qualified 17th) – “It was a frustrating lap. We were too tight and we made the wrong adjustment there and we couldn’t back up what we ran in practice. We have a good race car though for Sunday and it is a fast race car so I think we will be fine come race day.”

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 43 Farmland Ford Fusion (Qualified 5th) – “I feel like I got all I could out of it. This Farmland Ford Fusion was just a little too loose. It has been fast since we got here and it was really fast in race trim and qualifying trim as well. I am proud of all the guys at Richard Petty Motorsports and Todd Parrott and all the boys on this 43 team. We have had a fast car since we got here and it was fast right there. It was just a touch too loose to get as much as I needed to. Man this place is fast.”

WHAT WILL RACING LOOK LIKE HERE ON SUNDAY? “I am glad I am fifth so that I am starting on the inside because the second groove looks like it is just not working yet. Maybe the Nationwide and ARCA races will get that better. I am glad I am on the inside and fifth. I think the race will be about track position. It is good that we are starting up front and that will be important all day.”

GREG BIFFLE, No. 16 3M/Sherwin-Williams Ford Fusion (Qualified 14th) – “I just missed it getting into three a little bit. I was a little bit too high and didn’t get to the bottom like I wanted. I was a little wiggly down there in one and two but I had been like that at practice. I really think I missed a lot of it in three and four. It feels good in race trim. We haven’t had it in race trim a lot but we will see more about that tomorrow.”
