QUOTES
Carl Edwards on racing at Phoenix:
“I’m looking forward to going to Phoenix. We have to have a fast car and we need to run well. The long run is going to be the true test. I feel like if we are pretty decent on the long run, we will have a chance to compete for the win. We still need to have a good pit stall and we’ve got to have a fast race car. Our team goal is to get our Fastenal Ford into victory lane before the end of the year.”
Crew chief Chad Norris on racing at Phoenix:
“Phoenix is a good track for Carl and the 99 team. He always likes racing there and we’re going to try to give him a fast race car for the weekend. He would have had a better finish in the spring but ran out of fuel in the final laps to finish 17th. We’d sure like to end the season strong like we did in 2010 so we’ll do our best for sure.”
