Rockingham, N.C. (March 13, 2013) – Western N.C.-based Hoss Howard Band will be performing the National Anthem to kick off the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine at Rockingham Speedway on April 14.
“With the partnerships we’ve built in North Carolina over the last year, it was important to us to have an in-state artist perform for our fans at this event,” said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. “Hoss and the guys are phenomenal performers and we are thrilled to have them as part of our show next month.”
Howard and the band play Southern rock and country-style music and should not be strangers to Carolina race fans. For the last two years, Hoss Howard Band has been part of the Coca-Cola 600 race activities, playing at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Speed Street.
