Fastline Motorsports Prepares For Busy 2013 Season

By Spencer Lewis – March 8th, 2013 – GRIMSBY, ON – Jeff Lapcevich and Fastline Motorsports will once again compete with the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in 2013, with the Grimsby veteran excitedly announcing the return of long-time marketing partner Tim Hortons for a landmark 24th season.

“Having Tim Hortons back with our program for another season is amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better partner and I’m honored to have them on our team yet again. We’re also looking forward to raising awareness for the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundations Camps through our racing efforts this season.”

After a 2012 campaign that saw only 2 finishes come outside of the top-15, Lapcevich has announced a 2013 schedule that will see him focus on all 6 Ontario tour stops as well as 3 series events within the province of Quebec.

“We feel the schedule we’ve laid out gives us an excellent shot at contending for victories all season long. We’ll be heading to speedways that we’ve been strong at in the past, and with our brand new road course car and freshly updated oval car, we’re all very excited for what the 2013 season has in store.’’

In addition to support from Tim Hortons, Lapcevich would also like to welcome back Castrol, Cathcart Trucking, Troy Cove Marine and Springers Meats for 2013.

While Jeff gears up for a busy season with the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, his eldest son Cayden is preparing for a sophomore campaign with Sunset Speedway’s perennially tough Super Stock division.

After a 2012 season that saw then 12-year old Cayden become the youngest Rookie-of-the-Year in division history, the third-generation pilot is looking forward to debuting a brand new McColl Racing Enterprises chassis for his run at the 2013 track championship.

“I learned so much as a Rookie last season”, explained Cayden. “I can’t wait to get back on track see where I match up with some of the best Super Stock drivers in the province”

“Mike McColl and his entire staff at McColl Racing Enterprises are such professionals”, said Cayden. “I’m sure the new car they’ve built me will be unlike anything else I’ve ever driven”
