Jonathan Davenport is Ready for a New Challenge

– Jonathan Davenport enters Martinsville as a Rookie Driver –

SHELBY, NC (April 3, 2013) – The #1 entry for the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway will be piloted by Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville Georgia. Advanced Electronic Services will be coming on board as the primary sponsor for the #1 Chevrolet. This will be the first time Jonathan will attempt a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.

Jonathan Davenport is a veteran dirt super late model racer with major victories all over the country. He has competed in all of the major series including the World of Outlaws and Lucas Oil Dirt Series. In 2013 Davenport has racked up four wins and eleven top five finishes in only nineteen races to start off the season. His most recent victory is at Lancaster Motor Speedway for the Carolina Crown, a $30,000 win.

Jonathan also has asphalt experience before returning to the dirt track ten years ago. He has run many races with the Legends car series where he racked up over 105 wins as well as ASL Series and Late Model experience.

“I’m really excited to get out there. This has always been a dream of mine and now I am here. I am sure that there will be a lot to learn but I just thankful to be here. I’m glad to have this opportunity that Advanced Electronic Services has given me in both here with the Truck Series as well as in the dirt late model cars.” Stated Jonathan of his opportunity to drive in his first NASCAR event.

The #1 Advanced Electronic Services Chevrolet will qualify Friday, April 5, 2013 at 5:00 pm with the Kroger 250 on Saturday, April 6 at Martinsville Speedway beginning at 1:30 pm broadcasted live on SPEED Channel.
