Bobby Tolton finishes eighth at Barrie Speedway

In his second OSCAAR Modified start, Bobby Tolton would bring home an eighth place finish at Barrie Speedway.

He would a little hick-up in the first heat as he would spin as part of a chain reaction deal with Brad Pearsall. He would pull off the track and finish sixth.

He would miss the second heat due to working on the motor.

Tolton would start the feature 10th, moving up to the ninth position past Mike Westwood on lap two. Brian McLean would drop out of the race after troubles in the heats, bumping Tolton up to eighth.

However, the problems would continue for Tolton, causing him to bring his car down pit road, resulting in a DNF. He would be credited with an eighth place finish.

Special thanks to Eloquip, Engines from Hal, Knightwork Designs, Bolt-On Performance, Amsoil, Crazy Bill’s Paintball, Tri-Country Sandblasting, At A Glance Screenprinting, Black Magic Racing and Around the Howse Contracting for their support.

The next race for the OSCAAR Modifieds is this weekend at Delaware Speedway on Friday night.
