Kenny Wallace Quotes:

“To say I’m excited to go to Iowa Speedway this weekend is an understatement because for the first time in my career I’ll be in the race’s entitlement sponsor’s car… the U.S. Cellular Toyota Camry in the U.S. Cellular 250. That also carries some pressure to run well and upfront in my 896th NASCAR start. Iowa is a beautiful facility with great fans that pack the grandstands every time we’re there and it’s a track that I’ve always raced well at. With four top 15 finishes in five races, I’m looking forward to showing all those young kids a thing or two!  Speaking of young kids, I’ve got a spotter that knows this Iowa track like the back of his hand, hometown boy Brett Moffitt. It’s always a big help to have a spotter that knows the track and how it will race all night long. I’m also excited for all the events U.S. Cellular has going on for the fans. Friday and Saturday I’ll be racing fans in go karts, signing autographs, and hanging out so there will always be something going on, including a special VIP U.S. Cellular customer area so come check it out!”

Keith Hinkein Quotes:

“What a great opportunity for my first start as a NASCAR Nationwide Series crew chief with a driver like Kenny Wallace piloting the No. 29 U.S. Cellular Toyota Camry in the U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway. Kenny was fast in Iowa last June because he could roll the center, keep his momentum up and had good drive off the corners. This race typically has long green flag runs, so having a car that’s good in the long run was and still is crucial for this race. In practice we’ll go out there and make those long runs and see how the car handles for Kenny. This is the same car he raced in June at Iowa with the same car setup so I’m confident he’ll pick up right where he left off. It’s always a pleasure working with Kenny because he always so relaxed in every situation, his feedback is always easily understood and he never panics or changes his driving during a race, so I’m really looking forward to a good run in Iowa.”
