FAST EDDIE RACEWEAR TO SHOWCASE ITS PRODUCT LINES AT THE CANADIAN MOTORSPORTS EXPO

The Canadian Racing Season Begins February 7, 8, & 9, 2014 at Toronto’s International Centre

(TORONTO, ON // JANUARY 22, 2014) In little more than a decade, Fast Eddie Racewear has made a significant impact on the Canadian motorsports scene. The company is Canada’s largest supplier of Simpson and Impact safety apparel.

Fast Eddie Racewear will once again be at the Canadian Motorsports Expo Powered by Inside Track Motorsport News to connect with racers as they prepare for the 2014 season. The show takes place February 7, 8 & 9 in Hall 5 of the International Centre, across from Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

Co-founded in 2002 by Jamie Hakonson and Tony Paton, Fast Eddie Racewear caters to the motorsports industry through a three-pronged business approach, targeting competitors, automotive dealers and corporate markets. Their capacity for custom designing, manufacturing and distributing race-ready driver suits and related apparel is matched only by their ability to meet the needs of the support teams and sponsors when it comes to providing matching hats, t-shirts, polos, vests, fleeces, coats and jackets.

“For us, the products we create are geared towards the guys in the trenches,” explains Paton. “And while we cater to the motorsports industry, we’ve grown outside those parameters. We have corporate clients, such as OK Tire, who wear clothing designed and supplied exclusively to them, all borne out of the motorsports element.”

Paton feels that the upcoming Canadian Motorsports Expo offers the perfect opportunity for the Uxbridge, Ontario-based company to display its wares and to inform potential clients of Fast Eddie’s varied product lines and services.

“The Canadian Motorsports Expo is aimed at the racers and race teams; it’s the premiere motorsports show in the country,” states Paton. “We know that sooner or later, almost everyone associated with the sport will pass through. Also, the timing of the CME is perfect. If a driver comes to us looking for a new suit or some accessories, or a sponsor needs custom created team wear, we can have them outfitted in plenty of time for the new season.”

With ‘hands-on’ experience earned as an integral partner of the Team 3 Red NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race team, and a sponsor of Paton Racing’s NHRA Top Fuel racing effort, the staff at Fast Eddie Racewear has an extensive understanding of the race wear market. From in-stock items to custom designs, Fast Eddie Racewear offers many of the industry’s most recognized and quality crafted products to meet any motorsports associated requirement.

Concludes Paton, “At the Canadian Motorsports Expo, we will be offering a complete selection of our motorsport elements. And we will have a large inventory on hand at the show. People who visit our display can walk out with anything they want and be fully prepared for the new season. We’re a one-stop shop for all things motorsports, and we’re proud to offer everybody the chance to ‘Wear What the Pros Wear.’”
