Double Duty Season for Jake “The Juice Box” Ott racing in the Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup as well as Flamboro Speedway Pro Late Model Division

March 02– Ayr, ON – Jake Ott, Driver of both the number #23 Meineke Pro Late Model and the #60 Meineke / Mackay Heating and Cooling Dodge will be attempting to compete and complete both series’ schedules for the 2014 racing season.

The fans of the Juice Box are in for quite a season this year and those local to Jake will be able to come out and see him in plenty of races at Flamboro Speedway this year. He will be driving the all too familiar purple crowd pleaser “Barney” and his yellow rocket the number 23 “Zipcut”

Jake’s biggest fan and marketing partner David Wood owner of a large chain of Meineke Car Care Centres is pleased with the commitment both teams have made to help see this 2104 season end in success “I can’t wait for the season to begin, it’s going to be fantastic this year” Wood stated after the Flamboro schedule and driver registration meeting.

All though the majority of the races will be at Flamboro Speedway the Late Model will be making six appearances at Ontario’s fastest track Delaware Speedway. “I’ve never driven a Late Model at Delaware but after competing at Toledo I’m sure I can handle this” Ott commented in regards to the APC Challenge nights at Delaware.

As for the Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Series the #60 car owned by JWO Racing will be at Flamboro four times as well as at Capitol City Speedway in Ottawa, Delaware Speedway in Dorchester, Sauble Speedway in Sauble Beach and Peterborough Speedway in Peterborough. Jake has a strong showing with multiple top 5’s and wins at both Flamboro and Delaware.

The team faces a big challenge this season and will undoubtedly feel the pressure as the season rolls on. “I love the guys for everything they do for me, the support the give me and for standing behind me. Without the support of my team and my sponsors attempting a season like this would not be possible” Ott added. Long time team member and Car Chief Shawn MacPherson noted “Yeah I’m really excited about getting back into a weekly program and learning about the new car this summer. Also I’m really looking forward to hopefully capturing the Lucas Oil Sportsman Series Championship title as well”.
