FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Dover, DE (June 1, 2014) – “Miles” the monster was no threat to the drivers of TriStar Motorsports this weekend at Dover International Speedway. After qualifying took place Saturday morning, teams kicked it in gear for the Buckle Up 200 Presented by Click It or Ticket Saturday afternoon. Below are post-race results for the TriStar Motorsports drivers:

Jeff Green Finishes 18th at Dover International Speedway

Jeff Green and the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry qualified 25th during knock out qualifying on Saturday morning. Early in the race, Green was able to maintain his position despite battling loose-handling conditions.  When the first caution flag waved on lap 16, Green brought the car to pit road for four tires, fuel, and a chassis adjustment. As the race continued, the car’s handling improved and by the halfway point of the race, the Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® team was scored in the 22nd position. During the final laps, the car’s handling showed great improvement. This allowed Green to not only run his best laps of the race but to also advance three positions in the running order to finish in the 18th position.

Paulie Harraka Finishes 19th at Dover International Speedway

Paulie Harraka was eager to get the Buckle Up 200 underway Saturday afternoon. After qualifying 22nd in the No. 44 Buckle Up Toyota Camry, Harraka was ready to take the green flag. At the beginning of the race, Harraka was sitting 22nd and battling to keep that position. On lap 16, the first caution flag waved and Harraka was bringing his Toyota Camry to pit road for four tires, fuel and an adjustment. When Harraka came to pit, he made contact with the No. 62 car and the team had to repair the left front under caution. With 119 laps to go, Harraka was running 20th and was happy with the adjustments that the team had made to the No. 44 Buckle Up Camry.  With 18 laps to go, the No. 44 Camry was scored in the 20th position and would advance one position to finish the Buckle Up 200 19th.

Mike Bliss Finishes 22nd at Dover International Speedway

Mike Bliss and the No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Camry qualified 14th for the Buckle Up 200 and was ready to get back behind the wheel to race 200-miles around the Monster Mile. After running 13 laps, Bliss’s No. 19 Camry was scored in the 15th position. When an early caution flag waved, Bliss brought his Camry to pit road and once the green flag returned he was scored in 20th. When the caution flag waved around lap 70, Bliss brought his No. 19 Camry to pit road for four tires, fuel and adjustments. With 40 laps to go, the No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Camry was scored in the 17th position, but after making a pit stop under green with 10 laps to go, Bliss brought home a 22nd place finish.
