What Happens Here, Stays Here…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) makes its only trip of the year to the Nevada desert for some late-night racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Ben Kennedy has never made a start at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval in any series, but Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) knows its way to Victory Lane: Nelson Piquet Jr. took the win in the 2012 event at the track. Kennedy also knows his way around intermediate tracks in the NCWTS, earning four of his seven-career top-10 finishes at tracks between one and two miles in length.

Heating Up Sin City…Heater.com will once again be aboard the No. 31 Chevrolet Silverado. Heater.com is a world-leading heating product online retailer. The site features a wide variety of indoor and outdoor heating products to meet everyone’s needs. Heater.com gives consumers key information in the form of pictures, text and video allowing them to make the most informed buying decision. Heater.com is the “One Stop Shop for ALL Things Heating!” For more information, visit the company’s web site at www.heater.com.

Neon Garage…Come meet Kennedy and other NCWTS drivers at the series autograph session this weekend. The Rookie of the Year candidate will be signing autographs in the Neon Garage on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00-2:45 p.m. local time.

Watch and Listen…The Rhino Linings 350 can be seen live on Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap…Kennedy was looking to follow up his top-10 finish in Chicago with another solid run in the Heater.com Chevrolet, but his momentum was stalled by a broken stud in the NCWTS’ return to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. After working his way into the top 10 with a fast truck and a solid fuel strategy, Kennedy and the No. 31 TSM team appeared to be on the verge of another successful run. However, the 22-year-old was forced to make an unscheduled pit stop late in the race due to a severe vibration, costing him track position and ultimately resulting in a 13th-place finish.

Ben Kennedy on Las Vegas Motor Speedway:

“Vegas is a track I’ve been excited about since the beginning of the season; even though I’ve never raced there, it’s always a fun place to visit and you know the weather is going to be great. Turner Scott Motorsports is great on the mile-and-a-half tracks, and we’re bringing back the same truck we ran in Chicagoland and finished seventh with, so I feel like we’ve got a lot of potential. We’ve got two off weekends after Las Vegas, so I’d like to close out this run of races on a strong note.”
