Jay Guy Hired to Crew Chief the No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevy for Michael Annett

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (February 6, 2015) – HScott Motorsports is pleased to announce that Jay Guy has joined the Spartanburg, S.C. based operation. Jay will be the crew chief for the No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevy driven by Michael Annett in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS).

“I’m looking forward to working with Michael,” said Guy. “I see a lot of potential in him as a young Sprint Cup driver and I think our personalities will gel really well. With the resources Harry has provided for us here at HScott Motorsports, I expect our team to have solid finishes this season.”

Guy joins the team from Front Row Motorsports where he most recently served as crew chief for David Gilliland. Guy has one win in the NSCS, which was at Talladega in 2013 with driver David Ragan. He has also served as crew chief at Team Penske and Furniture Row Racing.

“Jay did a great job helping build a foundation at his previous team,” said Michael Annett. “We’re building a new team here at HScott Motorsports and his experience in the process should be a huge help. I look forward to getting on the track at Daytona and forging a relationship with him.”

The 57th running of the Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Television coverage begins at 1:00 p.m. EST on FOX.
