”Two for $88” Dale Jr. Ticket Package is back for Talladega Superspeedway’s GEICO 500, May 3

TALLADEGA, AL – Talladega Superspeedway’s “Two for $88” ticket package, named for NASCAR’s most popular driver and a Talladega favorite – Dale Earnhardt, Jr. – is back for the May 3 GEICO 500.

Earnhardt, Jr., a five-time winner at NASCAR’s Most Competitive track, opened the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season in a big way Thursday evening with a victory in the first Budweiser Duel twin qualifying race at Daytona, which helped set the starting grid for Sunday’s Daytona 500.

The “Two for $88” Dale Jr. Talladega package gives fans a $32 savings off the regular price for two Lincoln Grandstand tickets to the Sunday, May 3 GEICO 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race – where the winner is all but guaranteed a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The offer is for a limited time. For more information, visit www.talladegasuperspeedway.com/dalejr.

Earnhardt, Jr., who is coming off a year in which he won four races and was eighth in the title chase, is the only driver in history to win four consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events at Talladega Superspeedway – the biggest and baddest race track on the planet.

“The ‘Two for $88 package’ is one of the most popular we have had here,” said Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch. “It offers two great seats in our Lincoln Grandstand at an amazing value. Dale Jr. has always been a threat at Talladega and the GEICO 500 is a race that he is sure to be a factor in. It was evident after Thursday night’s race in Daytona that his team is ready to show some muscle.”

This year’s GEICO 500 on May 3 will be the 10th event on the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule. Last year’s Talladega spring race proved to be a pivotal event in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Denny Hamlin was victorious and advanced to the Chase, finishing third in the championship hunt.

In addition to the “Two for $88” package, Talladega Superspeedway is offering up additional great “single day” savings for the spring event weekend, May 1-3, which also includes the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 ARCA Racing Series race and the Winn-Dixie 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series event. Fans save $10 off all regular pricing for a limited time, and kids 12-and-under receive a $50 discount on all frontstretch seats.
