Armstrong Looks to Continue Strong Showing in Atlanta

No. 43 Team Prepares Seasoned Chassis for Mile-and-a-Half Track

Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team will head to Atlanta with a Top-15 finish under their belt. The team had a strong showing in the 2015 season-opening race at Daytona last weekend and will look to continue that string of success at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

In Armstrong’s lone XFINITY Series start at Atlanta, he was relegated to a 33rd-place finish after his engine expired late in the race. He finished 23rd in his only other start at the track in the truck series.

Crew Chief Frankie Kerr and the No. 43 WinField team have prepared chassis number 838 for Atlanta this weekend. The chassis made an appearance in five races last season, accumulating one Top-10 and four Top-20 finishes.

After an 11th-place finish at @Daytona International Speedway, @Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team look to continue their strong start at @Atlanta Motor Speedway.

“I can’t wait to get to Atlanta,” said Armstrong. “We had high expectations going into Daytona for a strong start to the season, and we accomplished that. We had a good starting spot and just missed getting a Top-10. Atlanta is one of the tracks that I don’t have as much experience with, but our group really worked together well in Daytona and we’ll have two practices to get the car where we need it to be.”
