Chris Buescher makes his third NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) on Saturday.  In his previous two starts, both coming last season, Buescher earned 15th and 12th-place results.

After completing the first three races of the 2015 season, Buescher averages a running position of seventh – the highest in the series.  He has the highest driver rating at 106.4 and has run the most laps in the top-15, with 467 out of a possible 483 laps.

The No. 60 team brings a new chassis to PIR.

On the Car

The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Roush Performance colors this weekend in Phoenix.

Roush Performance Parts is a premier supplier and engineering services provider, most known for its line of high performance Mustang powertrain parts, including superchargers, cold air intakes and exhaust kits.  The list goes on to include a full line of wheels, tires, interior, grilles, graphics, service parts, accessories, drivetrain, cooling upgrades and more.  In addition to Mustang, Roush Performance Parts also offers performance upgrade packages for Ford F-150, Superduty and Focus.

Recapping Las Vegas

Buescher finished 14th in Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  After coming off two strong top-five runs, the No. 60 Roush Performance team battled a tight Ford Mustang for the majority of the day.  With the result, Buescher is second in the point standings.

QUOTE WORTHY

Chris Buescher on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:

“Phoenix is a challenging race track.  It is different from anywhere that any of us ever grew up racing and anywhere that we’ll ever go.  It’s always a place that we go to and really have to work hard to get the car set up right, and take the balance and make it as good as possible in both corners, versus just one.  It’s going to be a tough one, but we are looking forward to getting out there.”
