CHASTAIN RETURNS TO TEXAS

FORT WORTH, Texas – Ross Chastain is back in Texas for another shot at Texas Motor Speedway.

The young driver has raced at TMS four times in the Camping World Truck Series but will make his Xfinity Series debut at the track in Friday night’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300.

“It’s one of the fastest tracks we go to, and it’s a lot of fun to drive,” Chastain said. “It takes a few laps to kind of get the feel for the track and to fit into the line you want, but once you do you can turn some really fast laps.”
Chastain has scored three top-20 finishes in his first full-time Xfinity season and is 12th in driver points entering Friday’s race.Practice is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. (ET) and 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Qualifying is set for 4:45 p.m. Friday, with the race to follow under the lights at 8:30.
