ADVANCE NOTES

Bayne at Richmond

Bayne makes his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at Richmond International Raceway this weekend.

In eight starts at Richmond in the XFINITY Series, Bayne has recorded two top-five and three top-10 finishes. Bayne earned his best finish of third in the Sept. 2010 event after starting from the eighth position.

Bob Osborne at Richmond

Osborne will call his 18th NSCS event at Richmond on Saturday night. In 17 previous races at the Virginia short track, Osborne has recorded three top-five finishes and seven top-10s, including a best finish of second with former Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards in Sept. 2011.

Recapping Bristol

Bayne began the rain-marred event at Bristol Motor Speedway from the 31st position and was racing inside the top 25 before an issue under the hood ultimately led to a 28th-place finish for the driver of the AdvoCare Ford.  With the result, Bayne ranks 27th in the championship standings.
