Recapping Iowa

Wallace was in contention to win late in Sunday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Iowa Speedway.  The Rookie of the Year contender ran in the top-10 all day, ultimately pushing his Roush Fenway Racing teammate Chris Buescher to the lead on the final restart of the event.  Wallace would cross the line in sixth in his No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Mustang.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bubba Wallace on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway

“Charlotte is home for everybody.  It’s the hometown crowd and family will all be there.  This is definitely one that is highlighted on our schedule.  The finishes haven’t been the best, but we’ve always shown speed.  Our Cheez-It team is continuing to grow.  We are coming off a strong company run at Iowa, looking to carry that into this weekend.”
