Battling the Monster…Dover International Speedway, dubbed “The Monster Mile” for its high banking and higher speeds, is the next track on the schedule for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Michael Annett. The Des Moines, Iowa driver will climb into his No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet on Sunday in an attempt to gather a strong finish at the Delaware racetrack.
Annett’s History at Dover…Dover served as one of Annett’s strongest tracks during his climb to the Cup Series. He finished third on the mile-long track in a 2012 NASCAR Xfinity Series race. In 10 career Xfinity Series starts at Dover, he finished 15th or better eight times.

“I’ve had some really good runs at Dover on the Xfinity (Series) side. It’s a really fast mile track, the closing rates are absurd and it has a really tight pit road. I’m looking forward to seeing how the weekend treats us.”
