Concrete Mile…The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) heads to Dover International Speedway for the first of two races this season at the 1.0-mile concrete track. Allgaier looks to improve on his average finish of 27.5 at the only mile concrete track on the circuit. Crew Chief Steve Addington has three NSCS wins at Dover, earning the victories in 2008, 2011 and 2013.

Autism Speaks…This weekend at Dover, the Autism Speaks puzzle piece will adorn the No. 51 Chevy. This is the ninth year that Autism Speaks has partnered with the Monster Mile. The weekend is kicked off at the DuPont Country Club on Thursday, May 28 with the Drive for Autism Celebrity-Am Golf Outing, which Allgaier will participate in. He will also make an appearance on race day morning at the Autism Speaks Suite, which is a suite environment specifically designed for children with autism.

New Paint Scheme…AccuDoc Solutions and Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) will split the No. 51’s real estate this weekend at Dover. This weekend is the first appearance by AccuDoc Solutions this season, and the second weekend for F.O.E. as a co-primary.

Guest Analyst…After final NSCS practice on Saturday, May 30, Allgaier will join Motor Racing Network’s broadcast booth as a guest analyst for the NASCAR XFINITY Series race. Visit www.mrn.com for affiliate and live streaming information.

Charlotte Race Recap…After lacking grip in the No. 51 BRANDT Chevy, Allgaier earned the 35th starting spot for the season’s longest race. Just over a quarter of the way into the 600-mile race, Allgaier hit the wall and heavily damaged the right side of his Chevy. After going behind the wall, the No. 51 Chevy was deemed irreparable and Allgaier was scored in the 43rd position.

Justin Allgaier on Dover International Speedway:

“Dover [International Speedway] has been one of the most challenging tracks for me in the Sprint Cup Series. You have to hit each mark perfectly, and if you don’t it completely ruins your lap. It’s also very easy to get freight-trained at Dover. The track is small and it’s hard to get back once you’ve gotten out of it. Still, I’m confident that we’ll have a good weekend with AccuDoc Solutions / Fraternal Order of Eagles Chevy.”

Crew Chief Steve Addington on Dover International Speedway:

“Justin has continued to improve at Dover [International Speedway] each time he’s been there. We’ve gone over a few different things that we are going to try with the car. Qualifying is extremely important since it’s a short track and it’s so easy to lose a lap, but I think we’ll have a good weekend at the track.”
