ADVANCE NOTES

Bayne at New Hampshire

Bayne will make his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

In four starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at New Hampshire, Bayne recorded one top-five finish and three top-10 finishes, including a best finish of fifth in the July 2010 event at the New England race track.

Bob Osborne at New Hampshire

Osborne will call his 18th NSCS race at New Hampshire this weekend. In 17 previous starts, Osborne earned a best finish of third in the Sept. 2008 event with former Roush Fenway driver Carl Edwards after starting from the second position and leading 61 laps.

Recapping Kentucky

Bayne overcame being a lap down early in the 267-Lap event to race his way into the top-10 before ultimately earning a 13th-place finish at Kentucky Speedway. With the result, Bayne has an average finish of 13.5 dating back to Michigan in June.

Bayne on racing in New Hampshire:

“We’ve had a lot of momentum here lately and have had some really good runs. I’m looking forward to getting back to the track this weekend with the AdvoCare Ford and building off of these last few weeks.
