This Week’s No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Bristol Motor Speedway:  J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 233 in the Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway. This will be the fifth race of the season for this chassis with Chicagoland being the most recent.

Yeley at Bristol Motor Speedway:
J.J. will be making his 14th career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the Bristol Motor Speedway to go along with 11 previous starts in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition.  Yeley has a career best XFINITY Series finish of 12th at the “World’s Fastest Half Mile”.

In the Spring race earlier this year in Bristol, Yeley and his No. 28 Toyota were knocking on the door of the top-10 before being collected in a late race accident which resulted in a disappointing 33rd-place finish.

Horsepower Change:
Yeley will roll into Bristol Motor Speedway this week with a new addition to his No. 28 Toyota.  The JGL Racing organization formally makes the change over to Joe Gibbs Racing Engines starting with the Food City 300.   In their continued effort to become a top team in the sport, JGL Racing will campaign the JGR horsepower for the remainder of the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series season.

J.J.’s Thoughts on Bristol:
“Well this is the first race with a new engine package for this JGL Racing team and that adds additional excitement to what is already one of the most exciting races all season.  Racing at Bristol under the lights is one of the most special races of the season for the teams and fans.”

“We had a pretty good run going at Bristol in the Spring race before a late race accident ruined our day.  It will be important for us to work on our handling package with this new horsepower that we have.  Steven Lane (crew chief) and the guys on this JGL Racing team keep working hard and I know we will have another strong No. 28 Toyota this week.  If we steer clear of any trouble on the track we should be there at the end to contend for a strong finish.”
