ADVANCE NOTES

Buescher at Chicagoland Speedway

Saturday evening’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Chicagoland Speedway marks Chris Buescher’s fourth start at the 1.5-mile track.  In his three previous starts, Buescher’s best start is ninth, which came earlier this season.  His best finish of eighth came in his first start at the track in 2014.  Buescher has completed all 600 laps in his three starts and has never finished outside the top-12.

In two ARCA Racing Series starts at Chicagoland Speedway, Buescher started in the top-10 both times and earned two top-five finishes.  His best finish of second came in 2011.

On the Car

The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Fifth Third Bank colors this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.  Fifth Third Bank is a U.S. regional banking corporation with headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio.  It is the principal subsidiary of holding company Fifth Third Bancorp.

Recapping Richmond International Raceway

Buescher raced his No. 60 AdvoCare Ford Mustang to its 15th top-10 finish of the season Friday night under the lights in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Richmond International Raceway.  With the result, Buescher maintained the lead in the series point standings.

QUOTE WORTHY

Chris Buescher on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:

“Chicagoland will be a fun weekend.  We have been much better on the big tracks in 2015 and should be able to get a top-five this weekend in our Fifth Third Ford Mustang, and hopefully gain some points.”
