JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion
Qualified 2nd / Finished 6th
“I felt like we were in the cat-bird seat on that restart starting sixth with new tires. I had a good start and got three-wide. The 18 got tight and fenced us. We lost all the spots that we should have gained. I felt like we were in the position that we needed to be in to win this thing.”

WHAT HAPPENED WITH YOU AND THE 48 AND 4 EARLY IN THE RACE? “I had nothing to do with that. The 48 went three-wide bottom and I was just sitting there. I was no part of it.”

HOW WERE THE RESTARTS? “I felt like the 24 jumped it once but NASCAR isn’t calling it so we just need to push it.”

BRAD KESELOWSKi, No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion
Qualified 3rd / Finished 8th
“It looked like we were going to steal something that final restart. We gained quite a few spots and probably weren’t quite a top-five car but almost stole a top-five. We were racing real hard and just fell back. I just didn’t have the turn to run up front. I was trying to make something happen but all in all I guess it was a decent day.”

WHAT ABOUT THE TURN? “Just couldn’t get the front end to work. It is disappointing because I thought we were better than this in practice but it just didn’t work out.”

YOU GO TO NEW HAMPSHIRE NEXT WHERE YOU HAVE HAD GOOD RUNS. “Yeah, Loudon has been a really great track for us so I am looking for really big things there.”

AT ONE POINT THERE WAS A SITUATION WITH A POSSIBLE LOOSE WHEEL, WAS THAT THE CASE? “No I guess it wasn’t a loose wheel. I guess one of the tires spun on the rim and created a big vibration with the wheel weights being located wrong when that happens. The guys did a good job on pit road today though.”

THAT WAS A LONG STINT OF GREEN FLAG RUNS TODAY. WERE YOU EXPECTING THAT? “No, we usually get more debris cautions than that. I was glad NASCAR let it play out except for the last yellow there.”
