CASSILL A VETERAN AT DOVER

DOVER, Del. – Saturday’s Hisense 200 Xfinity Series race at Dover International Speedway will mark Landon Cassill’s 21st race start at the famous Monster Mile.

Driving the Meding’s Seafood/Iron Source Chevrolet, Cassill will be racing in his 10th Xfinity event at the one-mile track. He also has started 10 Sprint Cup and one Camping World Truck Series race at Dover.

“I feel like I’m at home there,” Cassill said. “I have a ton of laps at that track, and you learn something else every time around. We were 22nd there in the spring. We’re looking to improve on that this week.”

Practice for the 28th race of the Xfinity season is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Friday, with qualifying set for 12:15 p.m. Saturday. The race is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
