CHASTAIN CHALLENGES DOVER AGAIN

DOVER, Del. – Ross Chastain finished 16th in the spring Xfinity race at Dover International Speedway, and he’ll be looking to improve on that run in Saturday’s Hisense 200 at the tough one-mile track.

Although his finish in the season’s earlier race at Dover is one of his best in his rookie season, Chastain said there is the potential for more this weekend.

“I feel like I adapted to this car and the Dover track pretty quickly,” he said. “We ran a pretty good race in the spring. With all that track time in my pocket, I think we can get a better start – and finish – this time.”

Chastain will be driving the Heroes Haven/Natchez Shooters Supplies Chevy Saturday.

Chastain also has raced in two Camping World Truck Series events at Dover.

Practice for the 28th race of the Xfinity season is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Friday, with qualifying set for 12:15 p.m. Saturday. The race is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
