BRIAN SCOTT QUOTES:
How has being in the Sprint Cup car helped you this year?
“It’s been good. It has definitely helped out our efforts on the XFINITY side. I enjoy being in the Sprint Cup car. I learn a lot every time I am in one. We’ve shown speed at times, but it’s still been hard to put a whole race together with a team I am not with week in, and week out. It’s been fun and I’m definitely looking forward to Texas after our strong run at Kansas Speedway.”

Are you conscience of the Chase drivers or just racing your race?
“I’m just focused on what I have to do. Of course you don’t want to mess up any of the Chase guys but we are fighting for our finishes and fighting for positions, and fighting for our careers too. If we just laid back and gave it all to the Chase guys; that’s pretty hard to make a name for yourself.
